This depends on what you mean by "as written." I maintain that the Catholic Church corrupted our modern Bibles in the early 300s, and the errors have survived by excommunication and death. Some of us are bravely attempting to undo the damage.
OK, to confirm my understanding of what you are saying here, you think that the Bibles we have are wrong, and you are busy working out how they should actually read, is that right?

Much love!

That's exactly what I said. 1 is not 3 according to both Arius and Sabellius. Each promoted the law of identity.
A man made law. This simply shows man's inability to understand a Transcendant God. Should it come as any surprise that there may be aspects of God that we don't understand? Not to me.

The claim that the Catholic Church "corrupted" the Bible in the early 300s is often associated with conspiracy theories but does not align with the historical evidence.
Nor does it find support in Scripture, which declares,

Psalms 119:89-90 KJV
89) LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
90) Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.

His word is settled in heaven, and His faithfulness is to all generations. This idea that the Bible was corrupted oh so long ago, or that the actual Bible was in the Alexandrian texts - lost in the sands of time for over a thousand years - is to say God was not faithful to preserve His word.

Much love!

Because they refuse to believe the words that are in front of them. There is a post on this page where someone says of Zechariah 14, that YHWH will stand upon this earth. And the poster says, "It's all literal but that one word YHWH". It's just flat out disbelief. It's right there in front of them, and they reject it regardless.

Zechariah 14:3-5 KJV
3) Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4) And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
5) And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

And they just say Nope! That's not YHWH standing on the earth, no way!

It's sad! Once you deny the words of Scripture, after that, you're just making it up.

Much love!
I would rather you correct you post discretely and this time, honestly, and avoid the imminent embarrassment if what you inferred was my post back to David on Chapter 12 only, and only on verses 10-11, two whole verses, concerning 'who was pierced,' and not Chapter 14 at all.

You then deliberately mixed my post with Chapter 14 now didn't you that I never commented upon. And for what, for you to look childish again I guess...

Now if it was not my post or that you thought I was writing about Chapter 14 then you can ignore this response altogether and I apologize in advance.

And yes, I do see YHWH being literal in Chapter 14. Goodness gracious I can read....'and they reject it regardless' you said...what a joke you are...

If not, and you were actually misrepresenting and mocking me or lying about me again, then you will hear from me as usual....in the typical way. I still might give you my take on Zech Chapter 14 (the Day of the LORD/lord) anyway as it seems you might be interested to know that I can read scripture and understand it in a deeper capacity than you can..

Hint: YHWH is not used where I commented upon to David, verses 10-11, as you know if you really read it. So, with some logic as 'we' all know that the Son of God was actually pierced on the Cross and his Father, YHWH's role was indirect and metaphoric in the sense of his Son took the Father's place as he transferred this responsibility to his Son on the Cross, per scripture, and for legal purposes YHWH himself established.

The Greek root of both is metaphora, "a transfer" or "a carrying over." The transfer from God, YHWH to his Son....I guess you might know this already?.

Standing by then.....

The first and foremost objection to the Trinity is simply that "Three cannot be one". It's an intellectual rejection of a transcendant spiritual reality.
Found nowhere in Scripture. There is one God, the Father, in Scripture. It's so simple, even a trinitarian can understand it.

It's sad! Once you deny the words of Scripture, after that, you're just making it up.
What’s unfortunate is your inability to grasp that it is no longer an angel who bears that name, but rather the Glorified Son of God, along with all the saints who are with Him. You also seem to overlook the fact that these prophecies were given before the birth of Jesus Christ, as the promised Son had not yet been born. The curruption of the text sits with you Marks and not those who understand what is being relaid.

If the Almighty's feet were to touch the Mount people would be consumed in His Brillance (Light Unapproachable)! Only those who have been changed can "contract themselves" and restrain their Glory, like Christ and the Angels!

How do we know this is speaking of the Lord Jesus Christ?

Considering that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to the Father's right hand from the Mount of Olives, the angel’s words, "[He] shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go..." seem to directly reference Zechariah 14:4.

Daniel also makes a clear reference to what Zechariah would later allude to, stating, "one like the Son of Man came with the clouds of heaven..." (Daniel 7:13).

The Lord Himself directly refers to Daniel’s prophecy on several occasions: "They shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory..."

Matthew 24:30 (ESV):

"Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."

Mark 13:26 (ESV):
"And then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory."

Luke 21:27 (ESV):

"And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory."

Marks, Yahweh (Almight God) is not the Son of Man!

So we have shown how Christ will come in His Fathers name - Bearing His Fathers Name along with all the Saints of the Most High God.

Forum Members

It must be understood that Zechariah is not referring to Christ personally, as a direct manifestation of Yahweh, but rather to the entire army of the redeemed. The "saints" are called to "execute the judgment written..."

Here is Psalm 149:5-9 (ESV):
5 Let the godly exult in glory;
let them sing for joy on their beds.
6 Let the high praises of God be in their throats
and two-edged swords in their hands,
7 to execute vengeance on the nations
and punishments on the peoples,
8 to bind their kings with chains
and their nobles with fetters of iron,
9 to execute on them the judgment written.
This is the honor for all his godly ones.

Praise the Lord!

(@Marks doesnt even know the honor and willingly excludes himself from it)

The glorified saints are depicted in the Apocalypse as the "twenty-four elders," the "four living creatures," the "redeemed," and the "spiritual virgins," as well as in the awe-inspiring prophecy of the Rainbowed Angel (Revelation 4:4, 6; 5:9-10; 14:3-4; 10). As the vast Christ-Body, they will "reign on the earth" alongside their Lord.

The great irony in Marks oppositon to Yahweh being symbolic is he writes himself out of the Prophecy :doldrums:

The problem with Mark's perspective is that his focus on the Trinity distorts the rich beauty and visionary imagery in the Word of God. He prioritizes defending his cherished 3-in-1 doctrine, often at the cost of missing his own role in this incredible event.

All because he wants to Literally force his interpratation.

Crazy crazy crazy!

As usual, this amounts to nothing more than Johann trying to showcase his knowledge with hundreds of quoted references and very little relevant substance.

Wrong. Both violate the Law of Identity, 1 is not 3.
The OP list contradicts itself and logic too.

Baptize in the name of the Father, the Son,and the Holy Spirit.

The name. Singular.

What is the name?

Triune error is just another divisive tactic employed by the enemy. It's sad.

I've come to realize that hardcore Trinitarians like Marks and Johann are so entrenched in their dogmas that the confusion has caused them to miss the true meaning of God's Name and its application prphetically.

The one who conquers I will make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will never depart from it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God (the new Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven from my God), and my new name as well.

@APAK @Wrangler

Do you think Marks & Johann can see by their 3n1 dogma they take themselves out of the Word of God? Are they so fixated on the Deity they have totally missed God's Plan and Purpose with the Earth?
  1. Exodus 19:6 (ESV): "and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words that you shall speak to the people of Israel."
  2. Peter 2:9 (ESV):
"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light."
  3. Revelation 1:6 (ESV):
and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."
  4. Revelation 5:10 (ESV):
"and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth."
Not once in all these discussions have Marks or Johann included themselves in His plan

Have you noticed that?

Not once!

Hey marks @marks here's a summary and take on Zecharaiah 14 for you. You can keep it an do want you will with it. I did have some of its contents already written up beforehand, about a few years back. I thought I would had a few more things at this time.
It
It's prophecy and only partially completed as of today, and prophecy is the harder part of scripture to get 'right.'
-----------------------------------------

Chapter 14 – The Coming Day of the LORD

_____________________________________________________________________________________

Verses 1-21

(Zec 14:1) Behold, the day of Yahweh comes, when your spoil will be divided in your midst.

(Zec 14:2) For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city will be taken, the houses pillaged, and the women raped. Half of the city will go out into captivity, and the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city.

(Zec 14:3) Then Yahweh will go out and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle.

Like in Deut 20:3-4

(Deu 20:3) and tell them, Hear, Israel, you draw near this day to battle against your enemies; don’t let your heart faint; don’t be afraid or tremble, neither be scared of them,

(Deu 20:4) for Yahweh your God goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

Like in Jer 30:11:

(Jer 30:11) For I am with you, says Yahweh, to save you: for I will make a full end of all the nations where I have scattered you, but I will not make a full end of you; but I will correct you in measure, and will in no way leave you unpunished.

YHWH, through his Son, and his newly established Kingdom will fight to save his people, all his people, from the clutches of evil and men of destruction and death who oppose him.

He will bring new light and life to his people, as their transition from the OT and the Law into the New Covenant of grace and salvation.

(Zec 14:4) His feet will stand in that day on the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in two, from east to west, making a very great valley. Half of the mountain will move toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Like in Micah 1:2-4:

(Mic 1:2) Hear, you peoples, all of you. Listen, O earth, and all that is therein: and let the Lord Yahweh be witness against you, the Lord from His holy temple.

(Mic 1:3) For behold, Yahweh comes forth out of His place, and will come down and tread on the high places of the earth.

(Mic 1:4) The mountains melt under him, and the valleys split apart, like wax before the fire, like waters that are poured down a steep place.

Like Isa 49:10-13

(Isa 49:10) They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun strike them: for He who has mercy on them will lead them, even by springs of water He will guide them.

(Isa 49:11) I will make all My mountains a way, and My highways shall be exalted.

(Isa 49:12) Behold, these shall come from far; and behold, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.

(Isa 49:13) Sing, heavens; and be joyful, earth; and break forth into singing, mountains: for Yahweh has comforted His people, and will have compassion on His afflicted.

Like Isa 35:4-10:

(Isa 35:4) Tell those who have a fearful heart, Be strong, don’t be afraid. Behold, your God will come with vengeance, God’s retribution. He will come and save you.

(Isa 35:5) Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped.

(Isa 35:6) Then the lame man will leap like a deer and the tongue of the mute will sing; for waters will break out in the wilderness, and streams in the desert.

(Isa 35:7) The burning sand will become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water. Grass with reeds and rushes will be in the habitation of jackals, where they used to lay.

(Isa 35:8) A highway will be there, a road, and it will be called The Holy Way. The unclean shall not pass over it, but it will be for those who walk in the Way. Wicked fools will not go there,

(Isa 35:9) no lion will be there, nor will any ravenous animal go up on it. They will not be found there; but the redeemed will walk there.

(Isa 35:10) Yahweh’s ransomed ones will return, and come with singing to Zion; and everlasting joy will be on their heads. They will obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

Like Matt 13:43-46

(Mat 13:43) Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

(Mat 13:44) The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid, and in his joy, he went and sold all that he had and bought that field.

(Mat 13:45) Again, the kingdom of heaven is like to a man that is a merchant seeking fine pearls.

(Mat 13:46) And having found one pearl of great price, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.

(Zec 14:5) You shall flee by the valley of My mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azel; yes, you shall flee, just like you fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Yahweh my God will come, and all the holy ones with you.

The remnant of God's people of both the Judahites and other nations in the world will seek out with a zeal and cling to the protection and shelter of the presence of God during not only in the initial times, of the Roman presence of the 1st century, and of the OT, and in other nations at that time, also in all generations to come, into the Kingdom of God - even before the Kingdom is mature and becomes fully realized.

Although physical Jerusalem and the physical 2nd Temple were completely destroyed, yet the Body of Christ, the Kingdom thrived in the world, into which all nations are be admitted in today, including all the remnant of the believing Jews in Christ.

(Zec 13:7) Awake, sword, against My shepherd, and against the man who is close to Me, says Yahweh of Armies. Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; and I will turn My hand against the little ones.

(Zec 13:8) It shall happen that in all the land, says Yahweh, two parts in it will be cut off and die; but the third will be left in it.

(Zec 13:9) I will bring the third part into the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will test them like gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will hear them. I will say, ‘It is My people;’ and they will say, ‘Yahweh is my God’.

The remnant of the saved Judahites is/was 1/3..as Paul was so concerned about in his writings...

They will all be converted, saved because of the gospel, after the Day of Pentecost. They will enter into the symbolic valley of God, into his Kingdom of the new Mount of Olives, established by his Son personally, as in his symbolic deliberate planted two feet on the Mount that causes a symbolic earthquake rift or separation of the Mount into two halves.

Incidentally, in Zechariah's time there was already a physical rift or valley in between the Mount of Olives as the Romans later constructed a major thoroughfare on top of it. So, Zechariah used the physical rift as his symbolic metaphor for the deep and wide valley of escape and the impact that YHWH would have in this affair.

They will see/experience in their lives in their hearts, Jerusalem in a new light, as the New Jerusalem, as the Body of Christ, of the Kingdom, with the angels in attendance, assisting them in ways they cannot yet understand or know, not yet fully realized.

(Zec 14:6) It will happen in that day, that there will not be light, cold, or frost.

(Zec 14:7) It will be a unique day which is known to Yahweh; not day, and not night; but it will come to pass, that at evening time there will be light.

The Kingdom of God is born, the New Jerusalem, the city of perpetual lights, in every true believer. And when in the future it is mature, it will be present not in this world, not with a Sun or moon, not affected by heat or cold. It will be called the new heaven and new earth.

(Zec 14:8) It will happen in that day, that living waters will go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the eastern sea, and half of them toward the western sea; in summer and in winter will it be.

On a single day in Jerusalem, the Day of Pentecost the Spirit of God gave the spirit of Christ who is in him to his people. Then in turn, it spread to all the known world, and this Spirit is given to the nations in each generation of those who 'believed.'

(Zec 14:9) Yahweh will be King over all the earth. In that day Yahweh will be declared as the one and only, and His name unified.

(Zec 14:10) All the land will be made like the Arabah, from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem; and she will be lifted up, and will dwell in her place, from Benjamin’s gate to the place of the first gate, to the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses.

(Zec 14:11) Men will dwell therein, and there will be no more curse; but Jerusalem will dwell safely.

The Kingdom of God and symbolized by the actual destroyed city of Jerusalem is raised up above the earth as part of the new heaven and new earth. Its residents will live in peace and safety from evil.

Like Rev 21:1-2

(Rev 21:1) And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away; and the sea is no more.

(Rev 21:2) And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.

(Zec 14:12) This will be the plague with which Yahweh will strike all the peoples who have warred against Jerusalem: their flesh will consume away while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will consume away in their sockets, and their tongue will consume away in their mouth.

(Zec 14:13) It will happen in that day, that a great panic from Yahweh will be among them; and they, each of them, will lay hold on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand will rise up against the hand of his neighbour.

Like Zec 12:9:

(Zec 14:14) Judah also will fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the surrounding nations will be gathered together: gold, and silver, and clothing, in great abundance.

(Zec 14:15) So will be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the donkey, and of all the animals that will be in those camps, as that plague.

(Zec 14:16) It will happen that everyone who is left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh of Armies, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

(Zec 14:17) It will be, that whoever of all the families of the earth doesn’t go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, Yahweh of Armies, on them there will be no rain.

(Zec 14:18) If the family of Egypt doesn’t go up, and doesn’t come, neither will it rain on them. This will be the plague with which Yahweh will strike the nations that don’t go up to keep the feast of tents.

(Zec 14:19) This will be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all the nations that don’t go up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

When Christ ascended to heaven he became the King over all the earth for his Father God and his Kingdom.

(Zec 14:20) In that day there will be on the bells of the horses, HOLY TO YAHWEH; and the pots in Yahweh’s house will be like the bowls before the altar.

(Zec 14:21) Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to Yahweh of Armies; and all those who sacrifice will come and take of them and cook in them. In that day there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of Yahweh of Armies.

In the Kingdom of the Spirit of Christ and of the Father, all things that were used for evil, of men, of the world, and also considered unclean, and not suitable for worship in the 2nd Temple of God became suddenly useful, and clean for the holiness and worship of YHWH. Anything common or ordinary when in the Spirit of the Kingdom is now considered holy for YHWH.

It is impossible for a person to tell you and sell you what is and is not pure and suitable for the worship of God in the Kingdom as it was common in the outer court of the 2nd Temple. There are no vendors in the Kingdom who would profit and sell special pots or vessels for use in the 2nd Temple of God.

Every day in the Kingdom is like the Day of the Feast of the Tabernacles.

Joel 3:1-17 speaks to the same event as Zech 14

Verse 1

"In those days" – This establishes the time period for the fulfillment of this prophecy, which is understood to be after the return of Judah (1948) and the restoration of Jerusalem (1967).

Verse 2
"I will also gather all nations" – This refers to a divine action carried out unbeknown to the nations, as also described in Zechariah 14:2!

"Into the valley of Jehoshaphat" – The name "Jehoshaphat" means "the judgment of Yah." This valley is also called the "valley of threshing" or "decision" in verse 14. It is identified as the Valley of Kidron, a narrow ravine running from north to south between Mount Olives on the east and Mount Moriah on the west.

"And will plead with them there" – The word "plead" in Hebrew is shaphat, meaning "to judge." This is a play on the name "Jehoshaphat," indicating that judgment will take place in this valley.

Verse 11

"Assemble yourselves and come, all ye heathen" – OR "Give help—come in all ye nations on every side", referring to the nations gathering against Jerusalem as indicated in verse 12.

Lend your aid and come, all you surrounding nations, and gather yourselves to that place.” Bring down, O Lord, your warriors Joel 3:11.

This refers to Christ and His glorified saints. While the nations gather "against Jerusalem to battle," Yahweh will bring His mighty ones to judge the nations on His behalf (verse 12). @marks @Johann

Verse 13

"The press is full, the vats overflow" – OR "vats". This imagery points to the winepress of Bozrah, which is a reference to judgment as described in Isaiah 63:1-6. It symbolizes the gathering of God's wrath.

Verse 14
"Multitudes, multitudes" – The Hebrew word hamon is used here, helping to identify the origin of the multitude. In Ezekiel 39:11, Gog’s destroyed army is buried in the "valley of Hamon-Gog."
"The valley of decision" – The word charuts means incision or threshing, symbolizing a place of judgment and decisive action, where God’s judgment will be executed.

Many Christians are not being prepared as Yahweh's warriors. Instead, they are often weak and filled with human wisdom, making them unfit for service to Christ on that day.

@APAK @Wrangler

Not once!
No, I haven't focused on those posts so to see that.
