No Rapture 2
Summary and proceeding…
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
καὶ οἱ νεκροὶ ἐν Χριστῷ ἀναστήσονται πρῶτον,
17Then we who are alive – who remain
shall be caught up in clouds of crowds, of the “changed” saved-alive, together with them that were “raised” – “wrested” – “forced” – “exorcised” “in the Resurrection of LIFE” “from the dead” “by the Power of His, Christ’s, RESURRECTION”.
to meet the Lord in the air:
εἰς ἀπάντησιν τοῦ Κυρίου εἰς ἀέρα·
and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
No Rapture 3
Re:- ἐν νεφέλαις ἅμα – “clouds of crowds, of the “changed” saved-alive, together with them that were “raised” – “wrested” – “forced” – “exorcised” “in the Resurrection of LIFE” “from the dead” “by the Power of His, Christ’s, RESURRECTION”.
Τό νέφος – “dense throng of men, birds, etc.” Follet Classic Greek English Dictionary 1962. Therefore clouds of crowds of the raised dead as well as of the saved who were alive and were “changed” at His Coming. None of whom ascended from the earth into clouds that still were clouds of the earth anyway. So none was raptured into ‘heaven’, where as per 1Timothy 6:16, only God can be.

ἁρπάζω - “caught up” – “ravish away, carry off”, ‘snatch’ out of death and grave—never <FLY> to heaven! ἁρπάζω always retains that ‘grave’ aspect of pathos in its meaning, that sombre, dark, innuendo no matter in which context it is used.
Matthew 11:12 the violent take the Kingdom of Heaven by force.
Matthew 13:19 the wicked one takes away by force the Word sown.
John 6:15 the people would take Jesus by force to make Him a king.
John 10:12 the wolf catches and scatters the sheep.
John 10:28 the enemy shall not pluck the sheep from the Shepherd’s hand.
John 10:29 no man is able to pluck my sheep out of My Father’s Hand.
Acts 8:39 the Spirit of the Lord seized – caught Philip away and the eunuch saw him no more!
Acts 23:10 the captain over one thousand commanded soldiers to go down and take Paul by force from among them down into the castle.
Jude 23 saved by being pulled out of the fire (by force of some kind).
Revelation 12:5 her Child was caught unto God under the persecution from the Beast.
Thus the Noun ἁρπαγή gets translated extortion, ravening, spoiling. Now does that sound to you like the joyful gathering of all the saved “together with Christ”, to forever, “be where I am”!? No, that rather sounds like “ROBBERY - ἁρπαγμός - TO BE EQUAL WITH GOD” Philippians 2:6!

CGE Answer:
Pre or post 'Rapture' theories at <3&1/2 years tribulation> this way or that are but insidious and equally SINFUL date-setting. The 'Rapture' comes from the 19th century Great Falling Away from Protestantism and The Faith of Christ in, Scripture alone. The corruption of God's Word came -- began, with the TRANSLATIONS of the Greek manuscripts from the late 19th century, mainly Darby 1867, 1872, 1884, 1890 and the FALSE DOCTRINES based on some unbiblical 'RAPTURE', of which the SDA 1844-1888 remain the main proponents to this day 2021 AD.
Darby could not for his life <<follow Westcott & Hort in his translation>>; he made no translation-- he did not have the ability; he concocted his and other people's strange theories into the most groteque perversion of the Gospel of Christ, the 'rapture' heresy.
The Greek (for 'rapture') can describe how a dust storm picks up or tumble-weed gets picked and 'rolled up' being 'blown' or 'forced together’.
The redeemed will be brought together on earth to meet the Lord in the air. They will stay on earth while the Lord will come down to them at his Coming, to "bring them up" from the grave and carry them and gather ('rapture') them together unto Himself.
John describes the event as the saved who will go into Jerusalem while the wicked will gather outside the city against them and the Lamb. Compare Isaiah 66.
Figures identify, metaphors match, prophesy and fulfilment merge, time and truth blend, "THE THOUSAND YEARS THIS THE FIRST RESURRECTION" Revelation 20:5, defies physical literalness in any degree or sense. How much more the second Coming of the Lord and the Resurrection of the dead.
Christ gathers His Church at his Coming in the New Jerusalem which He brought down from heaven physically, His Church of all the saved, those alive and "changed" and glorified in the flesh, and separated from the 'tares' and those raised from the dead and glorified in the flesh, and separated from the 'tares' at His Coming, and begins His Eternal Rule on the New Earth from the New Jerusalem which He brought down from heaven with Him physically,
whereas before his Second Coming, Christ ruled "this the Thousand Years THE FIRST RESURRECTION", from "when God Raised Christ from the dead and exalted Him at the Right hand of God and gave Him TO THE CHURCH AS HEAD" and "THEY, ruled WITH Christ : THIS, the Thousand Years THE FIRST RESURRECTION, on thrones-with-Christ", right where they were born in the flesh and where they while there was sin and death, “received part in the First Resurrection" of the spiritual NEW BIRTH. Not two resurrections 1000 years in between, but one resurrection of two kinds of dead, one the saved, the other the wicked.
On the New Earth Christ’s Rule will be physical and eternally; on this old earth, Christ’s Rule is spiritual and temporary.
There's no 'rapture' away off mother earth but as of a dust cloud gathered on and over the surface of the globe called earth -- a "cloud" of resurrected and alive "gathered in -up" redeemed.
The Comforter sought out and brought together and as it were "consoled" / "consolidated" / 'raptured', the Little Flock "in one place where all with one accord were with one another"-- the birthday and birthplace of "the Sanctuary" of the Lord Jesus, the Sanctuary or Communion / Commonwealth / “REIGN” of "those who received part in the First Resurrection". “Thy Way o God is the Sanctuary!” “A glorious high Throne from the beginning is the Place of Our Sanctuary.”

No, that rather sounds like “ROBBERY - ἁρπαγμός - TO BE EQUAL WITH GOD” Philippians 2:6!
