That assumes that the "eternal" fate of every individual is sealed at physical death.
I don't believe that to be the case.

Several other issues apply as well.
- What if you lived in the time before Christ arrived here?
- What about the broad and narrow way? Destruction for the majority?
- Predestination and the Elect of God. You may not have been chosen.

Think that over. Thanks.

Christ was always interacting with man, He was the one who walked in the Garden. Remember, He is the Creator...

“Naked is Sheol before Him, And Abaddon has no covering" (Job 26:6)
Abaddon and Death say, ‘With our ears we have heard a report of it.’" (Job 28:22)
Will Your lovingkindness be declared in the grave, Your faithfulness in Abaddon? (Psalm 88:11)
Sheol and Abaddon lie open before the LORD; How much more the hearts of mankind! (Proverbs 15:11)
9 “If my heart has been enticed by a woman,
Or I have lurked at my neighbor’s doorway,
10 May my wife grind for another,
And let others kneel down over her.
11 “For that would be a lustful crime;
Moreover, it would be an iniquity punishable by judges.
12 “For it would be fire that consumes to Abaddon,
And would uproot all my increase." (Job 31:9-12)

What is this place אֲבַדּוֹן ("Abaddon") that seems to be associated with Sheol/Hades, death, fire, and sin? Abaddon is derived the Hebrew אָבַד ("Aw, bad"), meaning "destroy, perish". Strongs defines Abaddon as "The place of destruction". The LXX translates it as ἀπωλείᾳ ("apoleia"), the noun form of apollumi, "to be destroyed, to perish". The verb form is well-known from John 3:16 "Whosoever believes in him should not perish" (or "should not be destroyed"), but have everlasting life.

The place of Destruction. Contrasted with Life.

....

The author of one of our Bible studies pointed out that Acts 8:20 has been bowdlerized in almost all English translations. The Greek literally reads, "But Peter said to him, 'May you and your silver be in Apoleia together!'" That's right. The great apostle just told Simon Magus to take his money and go to Hell.

Terrific.
What do you believe about the broad and narrow way?
This supposed "always interacting with man" was largely ineffective.
A flawed plan. Can you imagine a better way?

Thats kind of hard to put a real place to, if you look at the verse it gives you a clue, notice the Greek name Apollyon..
Revelation 9:11
11And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

Abaddon in Hebrew means : destruction

Apollyon: the angel of the bottomless pit, the Destroyer

It is Satan as he is given many titles and this is consistent in scripture because in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 he is titled not only the 'man of sin' but the 'son of perdition' as well as others. The meaning of perdition is : destroying and utter destruction. Satan relishes destroying the lives of people, their families, their livelihoods and their characters and it is his animosity against the people of God, he wants to wipe them out completely.

It's not the Bible that is inconsistent, but our faulty understanding. The Bible is God's written word, and He is never inconsistent with Himself. This is difficult for the finite human mind to grasp.
That's why we need the Holy Spirit to guide us, otherwise it tends to go into ideas of man or private interpretation, or worse...

God: Welcome to the afterlife.
Person: Who are you?
God: I created you for my own purposes.
Person: Like what.
God: For destruction.
Person: What does that mean?
God: You will be annihilated.
Person: Why?
God: It was my choice for you.
Person: What did I do to deserve this.
God: You were born a sinner.
Person: Not by my choice.
God: Right. By my choice.
Person: Was that fair?
God: It doesn't matter. You can't stop me.
Person: Who did you say you were again?
You sound more like the Devil than God.

One must be careful with the words of their lips.

---Non Parody---

During my journey since 1996 The Lord has provided 2 dogs. One male, and one female Lhasa Apsos. One lived 16 years and the other lived 17 years. They were both good dogs and it broke my heart when there time was up. So when the last one passed I started my search for another male lhasa. I looked everywhere for a couple months and then The Lord led me to one that was in a pet shop about 45 minutes away. When I got this puppy he was 12 weeks old. I knew he was a puppy mill puppy, but this was the dog The Lord wanted for me. When I brought him home I found he was quite different to other puppies. I could go to work every day and he would chew on nothing. It was not until I was right there that he chewed on things. My trailer has a dogie door and a little area out side for dogs to do their thing. It turns out that this dog "Buddy" was one of the type of dogs that some would call a bad dog. He has peed everywhere in here. He has pushed my patience well beyond my perfect patience. If I went down the hallway in the morning to use the bathroom, when I returned I say a pee spot on the side of my recliner. (guess he showed me). I have had Buddy for a little over eight years now and I have come real close to do something about him. Finally The Lord told why He picked Buddy to be my dog. He said," My son, I picked the dog for you so you would know how I feel about what man is doing" To a degree I now thought that I understood the why. About a month ago Buddy really pushed me over the edge and I spoke out loud that I thought The Lord had made a mistake getting me this dog. It was not long after that, that I saw Buddy laying on the floor in an epileptic seizure. He was flailing himself everywhere. What a horrible thing to witness. When he finally came out of it. he was doing ok for a few days. But little by little he started loosing his sight. Today He is totally blind. Most people in here if they are truly Christian know The Lord does not make mistakes. And I said He did. It is my fault that my Buddy is blind. It was the words of my lips that caused this to happen. Some would say The Lord did this to Buddy but He did not, or He would be like you say St Steven. But He is not the way you speak of Him. I caused this and the enemy carried it out, as the epileptics in the Bible are spirit caused, as Jesus showed us. The Lord allowed this to happen but it is not His fault. And so it will be at the end of the age. And for those pet lovers reading this, Buddy and I are now closer than ever and Blessed be The Name of The Lord.

Like what I say? What did I say about Buddy?

You are speaking against The Lord, time and time again. You do not fear The Lord. I wrote this testimony to show you, you should. Blessings!
I liked your testimony. (as per my post rating for you)

Sorry for the misunderstanding.
I'm not "speaking against The Lord". However I do speak against Christian religion.
Which some are offended by. You seem to be in that group.

I would have to agree, if you do not fear God, all the ideas are vain and basically philosophy or have little truth to say the least.

Blessings! The Truth comes from The Holy Spirit within. Without The Holy Spirit within a man, a man is still unclean. The Bible says that nothing unclean can enter in. It is those that are truly born from above that will be His special possession on The Day He acts. The Holy Spirit can not bring a false truth but He testifies of Jesus and all that He said. And Jesus spoke about the outer darkness and the lake of fire. It is the new heart that compels us to reach out to the world and bare witness to the Truth. And The Truth can only be found in Jesus. It is His love within us(The Holy Spirit) that enables us to love one another and to keep His commandments.

People created for destruction will not appear in the afterlife.

They will not make it if they are wicked, but no one was created for 'destruction'.

In Romans 9, Paul argues that God creates some for mercy, while he creates others for destruction.

Are you sure that you don't believe that?
Who are the Elect?
Were they not predestined for life? Which makes everyone else predestined for destruction. Right?

Well, it is what directs us and brings us to Christ to say the least, and seals us before that day of perdition at the lake of fire.
