I have a friend who is battling the amils right now as a matter of fact. Told me to come get in the mix if things get too bad. Told him I'll think about it, LoL.

Is your testimony anywhere where I could read it? Been awhile since I've been active here, but I've been thinking about getting back into things, and yours is a new face around here since I've been away.
If we are in the millennium, that means the tribulation has come and gone. Which means the Antichrist has come and gone.
And the flying scorpions have come and gone. The worldwide mark has come and gone.
And satan is. chained during the millennium.

Beyond bizarre.
Flat earth stuff.
You asked how they would understand what Abraham's bosom was and I was saying there is no other scripture that addresses that so I dont know
In your doctrine what do you do with that story Jesus tells of the rich man and Lazarus dying?

Jesus died for Israels sins....Paul would be given revelation that we were redeemed as well....I dont know who the spirits in prison are (doesnt say)...baptism saves believing Israel by the resurrection of Christ....Israel had assurance he was alive and would return to establish their kingdom on earth
Jn 3:16 he died for the whole world.
Paul said " to the Jews first, then also to the greek"
Paul preferring the Jews first.
You give Paul a pass, but invoke doctrine over Jesus.
If someone said "Paul was only for the Jews", you would bring verses refuting that.
When verses are brought that refute your hyper Pauline doctrine, you simply ignore them.

I suspect this thread is somehow connected to the hyper Pauline doctrine.
(Something about paradise possibly conflicts in the hyperpauline doctrine).

You are not willing to investigate the captives in paradise.
IOW , investigate both sides of the teaching.

No one considers the rest of this

[Jhn 3:18 KJV] 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

They had to believe only on his name....that he was Christ the Son of God......that was for Israel......nothing about the cross

I do not get your point.
What point are you making.

If you are saying Jesus thought that his death was only for Israel, that would negatory.
He 100% knew his mission.

Israel for eternal life did not have to believe Christ died for their sins, was buried and rose again
Israel for eternal life only had to believe on Jesus that he was Christ and the Son of God............[Jhn 20:31 KJV] 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Christ only shed his blood for Israel's remission of sins...............[Mat 26:28 KJV] 28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins...............for many not all.....for Israel

That all would be saved was hid in God until revealed thru Paul

No Jesus preached all that years ahead of Paul.
So did Peter

Ok I figured out the premise of this thread .
Paulines can not agree that there was a place called paradise.
If Jesus went and preached to the captives, that would suggest the gospel was preached ahead of paul!!!!
Now we can't have that can we????
Bingo.

I noticed you are a Continuist, and also well-studied. If you'd be interested, I tagged you for some Bible studies I am starting up. I'd love to have your input.

Christ only preached that he would be crucified and rise again
Show me a verse where Christ or Peter preached the cross for salvation
The cross is death.
Jesus preached death burial resurrection.
As did Peter.
You saying they didn't means you are listening to erroneous Pauline teachers that somehow have this strange fixation on disenfranchisement of everyone but Paul, and will change verses to make that bizarre point.

Jesus preached that he would die and be raised to fulfill prophecy (Luke 24:44).......he would fulfill prophecy that of the seed of David would sit on the throne which was fulfilled by his resurrection......his was raised to sit on Davids throne in the kingdom according to Peter....Jesus would shed his blood to forgive Israels sins (Heb 9:15) to cleanse them for the kingdom and for the new covenant

Paul taught that by the cross all could be saved freely......by the cross God reconciled all things to himself (Col 1:20)

Wow.
It was Perer that got the revelation to the gospel given to the Gentiles either before Paul or at the same time.
Why do these teachers get an audience.
Stop listening to them Doug.

If you are talking about God calling Gentiles clean Peter did not preach the cross to the Gentiles he preached only the name of Jesus for salvation...........[Act 10:43 KJV] 43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
