We see what happens at the end of the thousand years of the Millennium..

Revelation 20:7-9
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

The Wicked are "devoured" by the fire from God after the thousand year reign of Christ with His saints in heaven, all those who have not received the mark of the beast or its image as we see.

Revelation 20:4
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Now the reason the saints are in reigning in heaven is they will also be involved in an important phase of His governing—judgment. Judging the unrighteous who have died, the devil, and the fallen angels. This is what Paul meant when he said that the saints will judge the world and even angels..
1 Corinthians 6:2-3
2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

During the thousand years of the Millennium, the saints reign in heaven between the first and second resurrections, the first being of the saints at the Second Coming.
Revelation 20:5-6
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

We see the second one of the wicked at the end of the thousand years, "rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished."

At the time of the thousand years of the Millennium, the wicked dead will be judged; the earth will be utterly desolate, without living human inhabitants, but still inhabited by Satan and his angels. We see Jeramiah describing what it looks like..
Jeremiah 4:23-26
23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.
26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the Lord, and by his fierce anger.

And the clearing of the earth in Zephaniah..
Zephaniah 1:18
Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

This is how Satan is bound as there is no one to temp, much like the earth before Adam and Eve " it was without form, and void", a bottomless pit.
Revelation 20:2-3
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

At its close, Christ with His saints and the Holy City will descend from heaven to earth. The unrighteous dead will then be resurrected, and with Satan and his angels will surround the city; but fire from God will consume them and cleanse the earth. This is what is meant by "destroy both soul and body in hell", the person can die the death of all men, but the Second Death is the destruction of both the entirety of man, not just slain and in the grave.
The Great White Throne judgement is the courtroom scene after the second resurrection of the dead, all the wicked in all aspects, in the graves or the oceans, so that the whole universe may see that God is just.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Again we see the books opened so that the universe can see what is written in the book of life..

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

The lake of fire is the hell of the Bible, it is here were the unquenchable fire of the Lord will burn the wicked, leaving nothing.
Malachi 4:1
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

The wicked along with the devil and his angels will perish, as sin is brought to an end and those under its bondage meet Gods judgement and are punished with the fire that will separate them from God, as they are consumed as those in Sodom and Gomorrha. We see how the devil is consumed and we see it declares "never shalt thou be any more."

Ezekiel 28:11-19
11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. 14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. 16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. 17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. 18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. 19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

The universe will thus be freed of sin and sinners forever.

Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Their punishment like the example given on Sodom and Gomorrha, a eternal separation from God which will not be reversed or allowed to come back, thus its results are "eternal".

So lets over what we are given in scripture to show the wrath of God at the end, what appears to be a eternal and unquenchable fire. We find a text of the fire that cannot be quenched..
Mark 9:43-44.
43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

And that burns gates, palaces once kindled..
Jeremiah 17:27
But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.

This fire was not to be quenched, therefore it was unquenchable. But it was to be kindled in the gates of Jerusalem, and devour the palaces so it was a literal, natural fire. But how could a fire of this kind when kindled, be supposed to be a fire that would burn eternally. And we see that this threatening of the Lord by Jeremiah was fulfilled.
2 Chronicles 36:19
And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof.
And it says it in verse 21..
Verse 21: “To fulfill the word of the Lord by Jeremiah.”

So Jerusalem was burned according to Jeremiah’s prediction that it should be consumed in unquenchable fire. So how long did that fire burn, clearly only till it had reduced to ashes the gates and palaces.

So some ask what is the unquenchable fire that scripture speaks about that burns the wicked? Doesn't that mean it will never go out? Of course, it doesn't. To quench means to extinguish or put out. No one will be able to put out the fire of the lake which is literal hell. That is the strange fire of God. No one will be able to escape from it by extinguishing it. The eternal fire burns up eternally, so the wicked will die forever. Even Satan, the root of evil, is finally consumed.

Ezekiel speaks of unquenchable fire in a similar manner.

Ezekiel 20:47-48
47 And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.
48 And all flesh shall see that I the Lord have kindled it: it shall not be quenched.

Paul also speaks on it and expands even more on the reason..
2 Thessalonians 1:8
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Now Paul tells us what the punishment is in the next verse.
2 Thessalonians 1:9
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

So the punishment is "everlasting destruction" from which there will be no resurrection or hope of life.

Now lets look at the text which everyone immediately asks about with the smoke ascending "for ever and ever." For those who are unfamiliar with other uses of this phrase in scripture, it can be confusing, but a comparison of verses in both Old and New Testaments reveal that the words "for ever" in the vast number of time are used in the Bible are in reference to something that has already come to an end. In other words, "for ever" does not always mean "without end."

Lets check out Exodus 21:
Exodus 21:1-6
1 Now these are the judgments which thou shalt set before them.
2 If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.
3 If he came in by himself, he shall go out by himself: if he were married, then his wife shall go out with him.
4 If his master have given him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out by himself.
5 And if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free:
6 Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an aul; and he shall serve him for ever.

In Exodus 21, the conditions are laid down concerning the law of servitude. If a servant chose to continue serving the master he loved rather than his freedom when it came due, then his ear was to be pierced with an awl and the Scripture declares, "He shall serve him for ever." Verse 6. But how long would that servant serve his human master? Only as long as he lived, of course. So the words "for ever" did not mean without end.

Now lets take at look at 1 Samuel 1:22..
1 Samuel 1:22 :
22 But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband, I will not go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appear before the Lord, and there abide for ever.

We read that Hannah took her son Samuel to God's temple, where he would "there abide for ever."

Now lets read 1 Samuel 1:28..
1 Samuel 1:28:
28 Therefore also I have lent him to the Lord; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the Lord. And he worshipped the Lord there.

Yet here in verse 28 we are plainly told, "As long as he liveth he shall be lent to the Lord." The original meaning of the term "for ever" indicates an indefinite period of time. Generally it defines the period of time in which something can continue to exist under the circumstances prevailing.

Now lets read Jonah 2:1-6..
Jonah 2:1-6
1 Then Jonah prayed unto the Lord his God out of the fish's belly,
2 And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the Lord, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
3 For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.
4 Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.
5 The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.
6 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O Lord my God.

Even Jonah's stay in the whale's belly is described by him as "for ever." Yet he came out when it spit him on the beach and Jonah went to Nineveh.

Now there are those who say what about being forever with God for the saints, but remember they have received the gift of immortality. Their life now measures with the life of God which is eternity. Immortality means "not subject to death." The words "for ever" used in reference to them could only mean "without end," because they are immortal subjects already. But when "for ever" is used to describe the wicked, we are talking about mortal men and women who can die and pay the wages of sin. Their "for ever" is only as long as their mortal nature can survive in the fire which punishes them, which clearly will not let you last long if you've seen a cremation.

Here is a good study from a pastor that is realizing how much pagan Greek thought has come into the Christian church.

"The doctrine of eternal hell is taught by many Christian denominations and many believers accept it as factual without ever challenging it. This study seeks to examine all of the biblical evidence on the subject so that you can make an informed decision about this doctrine.

The doctrine of eternal hell teaches that hell is a place of eternal torment, pain, suffering, and agony. It teaches that the souls of the wicked enter hell upon death. Then, they spend all of eternity in the most horrific agony imaginable. They can never escape the torment, not even for a second. After billions and billions of years, their suffering and agony will only have just begun. For the sins committed in a single lifetime, the sinner will spend billions and trillions of years writhing in the utmost agony and suffering.

Eternal hell fire creates a logical paradox with other Christian teachings. It appears contrary to the beautiful truth that "God is love" (1 John 4:16), and He loves sinners unconditionally, and He "is kind unto...the evil." (Luke 6:35). This creates a paradox. Recognizing this, many authors have written blogs, articles, and even entire books, trying to rationalize how God could love sinners unconditionally, and be kind to sinners, and yet torture them in the most horrific manner throughout all of eternity. Even a child can recognize this dilemma. Any child who has burned their finger on the stove knows the severity of that pain. To experience that sensation over the entire surface of the body would be horrendous indeed, even if it lasted only for a minute. To experience that degree of pain for a lifetime would be unimaginable. And yet, how could a good God inflict heinous suffering on humans for millions, billions, and trillions of years? The magnitude of suffering is beyond sadistic.

Furthermore, consider the fact that salvation is a "narrow way and few there be that find it" (Matthew 7:14). This verse would suggest the majority of humanity could end up in the lake of fire. Imagine hundreds of billions of sentient beings, writhing in severe agony for all of eternity. Modern society deplores governments who have secret, underground facilities where they torture a few of their countrymen until they die. This behavior is rightly considered to be evil, satanic, and inhumane. However, we are told to believe that God has a far-superior torture facility that can inflict pain 24 hours a day. In this facility he tortures the majority of the human beings he created for all of eternity. If humans are "evil" and "satanic" for brutally torturing a few people for a short time, then what does that make a god who tortures most of humanity for all of eternity? Such a facility of systematic torture would make god the most inhumane, brutal, and entirely evil being that has ever existed.

The doctrine of eternal hell fire has caused many a thinking person to doubt the Bible or give up faith altogether. The time has come to re-examine this doctrine to determine what the Bible really teaches about hell.

LIFE versus DEATH

It is critical to understand there is an obvious but profound difference between "life" and "death." According to the Bible, Human beings are "mortal" or subject to death. Paul taught that at the Resurrection, the righteous are granted "immortality" (1 Cor. 15:53). The Greek word for immortality is athanasía which simply means without death. The wicked do not receive athanasía. Their punishment is death. God said, "the soul that sinneth, it shall die" (Eze. 18:4). This presents a problem for those advocating an eternal hell, because they must come up with some way to make "dead" sinners "live" for eternity in hell fire. This is an impossible proposition. Dead people are not alive! Death and life are mutually exclusive. From a biblical standpoint, the dead are not alive, and the living are not dead.

The definition of death is quite simple: It is the opposite of life. The living can breathe, move, think, and feel. The dead cannot. The Bible teaches that the dead know nothing, and they have no emotions or feelings (Eccl. 9:5-6).

In order for a person to feel and experience the pain and agony of eternal hell, that person must be alive. Not only must that person be alive, but in order to experience hell for all of eternity, that person must have eternal life.

LIFE = Reward of the Righteous

The Bible plainly teaches that eternal "life" is the reward of the righteous, not of sinners:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
Over and over again in the Bible "everlasting life" and "eternal life" are described as the reward of the righteous (Dan. 12:2; Matt. 19:29, 25:46; Mark 10:30; Luke 18:30; John 3:15, 4:36, 6:40,47,54, 10:28, 12:25, 17:2-3; Acts 13:48; Rom. 5:21; Gal. 6:8; 1 Tim. 1:16, 6:12,19; Titus 3:7; 1 John 2:25, 5:11,13,20). This volume of biblical evidence is indisputable.

If everlasting life is a reward reserved only for the righteous, then how could the wicked have "everlasting life" in hell? Does the Bible teach that the wicked also obtain everlasting life?

DEATH = Reward of the wicked

Jesus taught that the wicked would perish, not live forever:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
Notice how Jesus contrasts "perish" with "everlasting life." The two words convey opposite ideas. To "perish" means to have everlasting death, not everlasting life in hell.

The Greek word for "perish" is apollymi, which means "to destroy." If a life is destroyed, then it is no longer living. It has perished. It has ceased to exist. The Greek aorist tense used by Jesus indicates this is an event at a point in time. The Greek does not support the idea that perishing is an ongoing activity.

According to Jesus, there are only two possible future states. One can either perish (cease to exist), or one can have eternal life with God. There is not a third choice of eternal life in hell. The Bible teaches over and over again that the reward of the wicked is death, not eternal life in hell. Following are some examples:

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil. (Deut. 30:15)
...for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat...Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life... (Matt. 7:13,14)
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:15)
...He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (John 5:24)
For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Rom. 6:23)
For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace. (Rom 8:6)
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. (1 John 5:12)
The wages of sin is not merely death of the physical body, but also the death of the soul itself:

The soul that sinneth, it shall die(Eze. 18:20).
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matt. 10:28)
Notice in the last verse above that Jesus said that man can "kill" a body, but not the soul. Killing the body is the first death. Jesus is making a contrast here between the power of God and man. God can do more than "kill" a body. God can "destroy" (Greek apollymi) both the body and the soul. This makes it abundantly clear that the purpose of hell is to permanently destroy the body and the soul. The purpose of hell is not to be a galactic dungeon where God and the holy angels delight in torturing and inflicting pain and misery upon the wicked throughout all the ceaseless ages of eternity. Rather, hell is a place where the wicked are destroyed and cease to exist." ,,,,,

How will Sinners be Separated from God and Sin Cease

Separation begins with Division.
A man not “With God” is Divided from God.

(Just as God “Created” All things, He immediately “Made” Particular Divisions…
Light / Dark
Up / Down
With / Without
Etc.)

God Created a Man… (formed Body)
Then
Made him Alive…(Soul)
Made and Female God “Made” them and called Them Adam.

God Gave to each a Body, as it pleased God.
God gave to each Body its own SEED, to reproduce its Same KIND of thing.

They had ONE warning of ONE thing to Avoid…(that One Tree of G & E)…

Whoops…they both ignored the Warning…
And their Consequence was to becom Divided From God.

Gods Love, Gods Grace, Gods Authority, God Power, Gods Offering has since ( for 4,000 years) the Beginning Offered ManKIND an Order and Way… to become “Made” Forgiven, righteous, and With God Forever…
And (for the last 2,00 + years) to become “Made” IN Gods Spirit and Gods Spirit “Witn-IN “ a man…
That that man (by the Power of God ) Shall be With That Man Forever . (OSAS) premise.

A man who Rejects Gods Offering, is such a man who will Not enjoy being With God Forever.
In stead, such a (Divided) man Shall, Be Eternally “Separated” From God, and God from such man.

Separation IS the “finality”.
A Final Consequence.

Glory to God,

Sin cease? When.

After All mortal “Body’s” cease to be Alive.

When?

Yes…

Shortly After the Ending of Jesus’ 1,000 year Reign. Satan’s Release. Satan’s Cunning Talent and ability to convince All Nations to come Against Jesus’ Kingdom.

Jesus has His Two edge Sword (Gods Word).
And Fire shall “rain” down from Heaven and Kill all remaining living Bodies.

When all the Wicked cease to be Alive, the Saints get eternal life with Christ. (And the devil and his angels are included in that "Wicked") and we are given when it occurs..

Revelation 2:11
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Revelation 20:6
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Revelation 20:14
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Revelation 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Yes there is the devil and his angels who are evil and wicked.
