There was a prophecy in a video I posted on here I will put a link to it again here. It is half way through this video. It was meeting from 30 years ago I was at and I was able to get the only copy of it. Because the guest speaker that night requested all the types from His services, but I knew the sound guy. It meant something deeper to me and why I asked for it, but I believe I had preserved it for others to hear also in this day, because it gives you a different perspective about the end and hope. Very much scriptural as to who Jesus is. When you here this prophecy you will see how successful the devil has been in creating a sinful apathetic church it steers today. I don’t know if I’m preterist, but I believe He returned bodily at Pentecost
we are His body.
"For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:" Eph. 4:12
Lots of people on this forum saying the are not perfect. It seems that God agrees that many are not perfect and therefore gives us ministers as per Eph 4:11
Does anyone serving God already need to be edified? I most certainly do.
We can know the destination, we just don't know always what things will look like on our way there. I think that is purposeful so we keep our faith in following God. And watch as he reveals to us the direction so we we don't get lost or tricked. Thus God uses prophets as one of the gifts through whom He reveals His way.
Absolutely, me too! Edified and equipped so I can stay in my right mind-the mind of Christ!
I the video I made was really why we need prophets. How many of you have really been taught or met a prophet or apostle? Many times they do not advertise on their vest they are one, but the things they teach and the work they do can give them away.
On the same of line of thought how many preaching in the pulpits do you think really are called as pastors today? Not saying this to be negative, but we put such an emphasis on schooling that may be many who are there have now have the inability to allow God's work to manifest itself and are starving the sheep and maybe why so many are sick, lost and sinning? The Holy Spirit provides the best schooling.

We need them [ministers per Eph 4:11]until when? Until we are perfect as God is perfect? When is that? Until we have memorized the written Bible? Some say that that which is perfect has already come because we have the Bible. Actually that which is perfect came when Jesus came. While this is true, for Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, what are we?
Are we not to be the Message now as Jesus was the Message?
"As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world." John 9:5
But then see what Jesus tells us here:
"And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are." John 17:11
He is no more in the world, but we are. Are we all already... that Light for others as he was in that time 2000 years ago for those who witnessed his life as a man? Or... are we preparing or being prepared to be that Light? If not, why not?
"Ye [you plural!] are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Matt 5:14-16
That is you and me, the ones who are, or are to be, the Light. We are here now! Are we the Light now? Can we not be what Jesus was as a man 2,000 years ago? Hmmm?
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father" John 14:12
Perhaps not every one of us is to be specifically called to one of those five ministries [Eph. 4:11], but every one of who is ready and willing will be used by God when and where He has a need... or?
Is there a shortage of truly called ministers of God in the established "churches"? Perhaps, but will not God use the meek and diligent housewife and mother of small children to fill in the gap in those churches when He sees a need? Will God not use the common laborer with only minimal or even no formal education to fill in the gap in those churches when He sees a need? From where will all of the blessings, or teachings, or peacemakers, or prayer warriors, or edifiers, or perfecters come if there is no man or woman of God in the local congregation doing the work required? God knows and He does not lie and He will keep His promises...
"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled" Matt 5:6
May God use a man or woman who may not a be a called minister as per Eph 4:11 to minister to those who are hungry and thirsty for righteousness? He certainly may! Consider the needs of the eunuch met by Philip sent by God! [Acts 8:26ff]

Disagree with Each Other"? Are some of them, then false prophets?
Further, IF we need to Depend on prophets, Then what need would we
have of of our OWN personal responsibility of "obeying God's Command"
In 2 Timothy 2 : 15 (KJB!), and, Also obeying "Prove all things; hold
fast that which is good." (1 Thessalonians 5 : 21 KJB!)?
So, we would ask {similar to water baptism Under Law, Does God Require it,
Today, Under GRACE? IF you wish - "study" here: 13 Bible baptisms}:
Today, Under GRACE, Does God "Have the gift of prophecy,"
in Effect, for us, Today? So, like Paul, we Also ask:

The prophecies SHALL FAIL? Who believes that? Surely not
the prophecy experts, correct? Or, one could ask, when?

when there are No more prophecies to be fulfilled? Or:
(B) At The Second Coming of CHRIST, Who Is “Perfect,”
But, with still More Remaining prophecies To Be Fulfilled?

I read it and fully agree with them....I live in Tulsa and have been acquainted often with Kenneth Hagan, Oral Robert's, T.L. Osborn, and my church pastor at the time Billy Joe Daugherty....excellent pastor. (I miss him so much)...Tulsa is very blessed to have so many major evangelist/pastors establish their church base here.

It's so funny back then when men of God were asking folks to believe the unbelievable they said, "I don't believe it"
Today, when the world is presenting to them the unbelievable they say, "we believe it"

Yes, but now it's happening before our eyes.
The unbelievers will only believe when they see it happening...sad, but true.
