it's nothing like Christ having flesh and blood body in heaven.
It is that God the Father sent Christ to earth on a mission for a purpose, God is a spirit. Since the 'children of God' have flesh and blood, then God had to also be made to have a flesh and blood body like them. Therefore, Christ even though being in the form of God in heaven in glory together with the Father God, taking on flesh, was a humbling experience.
Jesus definitely was made like a man, God the Father gave Him a body, so the man side of Him God created, and Christ was born of Mary, but HE, Christ is the only begotten of the Father, there is only ONE virgin birth. But His glorious Spirit side remained uncreated.
When the body is created, for men, then the spirit of a man is also created.
But with the body God the Father gives Christ, His own Spirit is incarnated, infused into the fleshly body God gave Himself.
Fun stuff!
Hebrews 2
5 For He has not put the world to come, of which we speak, in subjection to angels. 6 But one testified in a certain place, saying:
“What is man that You are mindful of him,
Or the son of man that You take care of him?
7 You have made him [
d]a little lower than the angels;
You have crowned him with glory and honor,
[
e]And set him over the works of Your hands.
8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet.”
For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him. 9 But we see Jesus, who was made [f]a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.
Bringing Many Sons to Glory
10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom
are all things and by whom
are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. 11 For both He who [
g]sanctifies and those who are being sanctified
are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, 12 saying:
“I will declare Your name to My brethren;
In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You.”
13 And again:
“I will put My trust in Him.”
And again:
“Here am I and the children whom God has given Me.”
14 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16 For indeed He does not [
h]give aid to angels, but He does [
i]give aid to the seed of Abraham. 17 Therefore, in all things He had to be made like
His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things
pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. 18 For in that He Himself has suffered, being [
j]tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
The people whom Christ is the merciful, and faithful High Priest of, is of course 'the children whom God has given Me.
John 6
26 Jesus answered them and said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled. 27 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”
28 Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?”
29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
30 Therefore they said to Him, “What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? What work will You do? 31 Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’ ”
32 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
34 Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.”
35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will [
f]by no means cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
