He is the cut off a few days later after the 69 weeks, just as prophesied.

Jesus was cut off on (not after) the 15th of Nisan AD 30, which was exactly in the midst of, i.e. 3 1/2 years into, the 70th week.

The 70th week fell contiguously after the 69th week.

All consistent with Daniel's prophecy.

I have answers to all the issues I raised as examples for you. Yet you slithered away and would not honestly reveal your position.

Let's go over some of them and see

Great Tribulation -This one I think you clearly admitted not believing it and saying it happened already, correct?. I do believe the Great Tribulation will come.

Millennium - I think you also waved this off as unreal. I believe in a real 1000 year rule of Jesus when He returns.

AntiChrist - You avoided directly answering and at least twice offered a verse about how there will be many antichrists in history. As if that means there is no man of sin. I believe in the final wicked ruled the bible identifies as the beast/antichrist.

Creation - You have yet to admit you do not believe that at all. We wait for your honest answer. I believe God did create the heavens and earth and all life including man in 6 days. I also believe woman was made taking a bone from the created man.

Sodom - You never even mentioned that one or got so far as to avoid it like the plague! I believe there were real cities deeply involved in sin, where their signature trait was homosexuality, and that God destroyed them to stop the spread of extreme wickedness at the time.

So do not pretend I do not answer honestly. Once again on all these things and other key issues in the bible, the problem with nominal church christians who wave these things away is that they do not believe. In many cases they are proud about it as well.

Don't wait for my answers. I have no answers. You have all of the answers. That's what you've been telling me.

But everything in your post is your own opinion.

So "you have no support for it".

Those are your words, so they must be true.

You continue to ignore v25, and John the Baptist's testimony as to when He as his forerunner declared to Israel the Messiahs arrival.
You have Messiah being cut off before he accomplishes atonement in the 70th week.

Well, just give it time. The 70th week has not begun yet and part of Israel is blinded until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in.
Romans 11

25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
24 “Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city,
to finish the transgression,
to make an end of sin,
to make atonement for iniquity,
to bring in everlasting righteousness,
to seal up vision and prophecy
and to anoint the most holy place.

Jesus accomplished this work that the Father gave him to do.

Jn 17
4 I have glorified You [down here] on the earth by completing the work that You gave Me to do. 5 Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory and majesty that I had with You before the world existed.

Nothing more I can say to you.

You can say that you didn't understand that the 70th week has not begun yet. You could say that you now understand that there will be 144,000 first fruits of the 12 tribes meaning that there will be a harvest of the 12 tribes across the earth at the 6th seal.

You can say that you didn't understand that the 70th week has not begun yet.

Why would I say that? Why would anybody say that?

Heb 9
11 But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation; 12 and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, 14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
15 For this reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. 27 And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment, 28 so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.

Why would I say that? Why would anybody say that?[
Simple. Because the 70th week has not started yet. Daniel's 70th week prophecy is about the people of Daniel and the holy city. God is not finished with His Chosen or the city of Jerusalem.

but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. 27 And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment, 28 so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.

So you posted the following, but did you read it? Do you understand it? You have completely proven exactly what I have been saying. The 70th week of Daniel has not occurred as of yet, as it will occur at the consummation of the ages, or the end of the age.

but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. 27 And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment, 28 so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.

So having proven my point, the question is do you change what you believe, because the scripture clearly proves what you are saying is wrong. My experience has found that it doesn't matter what scripture says, most people are not interested in the truth. They are only interested in blindly following incorrect conclusions.

Those that seek the truth, find it. Those that do not seek the truth, do not find it. Has it ever occurred to you, those that think they have replaced Israel are the foolish virgins that are not watching for the Lord as instructed. Red pill or blue pill?

Completely fulfilled at Calvary.

Confirmation of the Covenant by Christ in Daniel 9:27 unanimously affirmed by the historic orthodox Christian Church for seventeen centuries.

The grammatical referent of "he" in Daniel 9:27 is "prince" in Daniel 9:26 whose grammatical referent in turn is "Prince" in Daniel 9:25, who is Messiah.

Read Chris Gedge's "The Atonement Clock".

The writer of Hebrews declares "has been manifested" in the past tense.

You claim "has not occurred".

One of these two is wrong.

[but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.]

Clearly past tense as covenantee has explained. If we did a forum poll you would be left pretty much on your own Bro'.
He has already been manifested and has already put away sin and sacrificed himself. ;) :dusted:
When he appears a second time it will be without reference to sin.
This is the exact opposite to what you claim the verse means.

Let me state this first, I did not read The Atonement Clock. However, I did do some quick research. From what I gather the book finds the first Jubilee and then counts off Jubilees until he reaches 26AD or 27AD. Am I getting that right? Then he says that Jesus begins His ministry. I'm not sure how you can arrive at an exact date when it appears to me that he is not sure if the ministry was started in 26AD or 27AD. I am only going by what I think he is saying, as I said, I have not read the book. That said, this is not what the Word says. This is the scripture that we are interested in:

Daniel 9
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

I do not think that Chris Gedge used the correct information to find when Messiah the Prince arrives.

If I am not understanding this, just let me know and I will do more research.

We are talking about Israel. Part of Isael is blinded until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in.

Romans 11

They cannot see that Jesus is the Messiah. Take the 144,000 for instance. They are not justified and without sin until they are sealed, in other words until they believe. They cannot believe until they can see, and they can't see until their blindness is removed.

Sure it's past tense, as His sacrifice was in the past. But that's not the end of the story. It is not until you believe that you have this justification. So this is in the future as Israel has not accepted Jesus as Messiah as of yet.

Romans 5
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Christ died for the sins of the world and yet it is only those that believe that are without sin.

Hebrews 9
27 And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment, 28 so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.

We have been talking about the people of Daniel. They are not justified and without sin until they believe. They cannot believe if they cannot see. After their blindness is removed they can receive the promise, and not before.

The dates are found on page 52 of "The Atonement Clock" online. It dates "the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem" at 457 BC, and the beginning of Jesus public ministry at AD 27. Chris does not express any uncertainty about the AD 27 date.

Where does he say he is not sure if the ministry was started in 26AD or 27AD?

What alternate date to 457 BC do you use, and from what source?

Sure it's past tense, as His sacrifice was in the past. But that's not the end of the story. It is not until you believe that you have this justification. So this is in the future as Israel has not accepted Jesus as Messiah as of yet.

It applied to those in the Church at the time of writing, and they were all Israelites at that time The foundation was Israelite and the 3000+ that joined the first day were Israelites.

[We have been talking about the people of Daniel. They are not justified and without sin until they believe. They cannot believe if they cannot see. After their blindness is removed they can receive the promise, and not before. [ end Quote]

A great many Israelites have been set free from their sins down through the centuries.
Do not forget that when Jesus comes a second time its without reference to sin to those who have believed.
Today is the day of salvation . When the Lord does come a second time it will be to late...,

2Thess 1
5 This is a positive proof of the righteous judgment of God [a sign of His fair verdict], so that you will be considered worthy of His kingdom, for which indeed you are suffering.
6 For after all it is only just for God to repay with distress those who distress you, 7 and to give relief to you who are so distressed and to us as well when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in a flame of fire, 8 dealing out [full and complete] vengeance to those who do not [seek to] know God and to those who ignore and refuse to obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus [by choosing not to respond to Him].

9 These people will pay the penalty and endure the punishment of everlasting destruction, banished from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, 10 when He comes to be glorified in His saints on that day [that is, glorified through the changed lives of those who have accepted Him as Savior and have been set apart for His purpose], and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed and trusted [and confirmed in your lives].

Jesus was baptised late 26AD but his actual ministry began after his stay in the wilderness - early 27 AD.

Thanks for reading parts of my book. The early chapters are needed too. So, if you would like the readers edition for free just flick me a P.M.

I got that from his video

In this video it says that Messiah is revealed in 26AD toward the end of the video.
What alternate date to 457 BC do you use, and from what source?

I used the date March 5, 444 BC

As for the source this info came from, I just did a bing search and typed in "when was the decree to rebuild jerusalem"

when was the decree to rebuild jerusalem - Search

Our dates are quite different.
