And how did that word of God come to you?
Do you actually know that Gods Spirit is Alive?

What does that mean?...how would you/ I know his Spirit is Alive?

Do you understand his word below?..and what it means?

Hebrews 4:12

King James Version

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Don’t you know that you are a temple for the Holy Spirit?

Do you know he indwells your spirit?

One must be Born Again/ Born of God to know this...as God is Spirit....

Ezekiel 36:26
Verse Concepts
Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

Do you have a saving belief? How do you know? What constitutes a saving belief versus just some, what shall we say, regular belief? How do you differentiate?
Yes. Saving belief trusts 100% in Jesus Christ for salvation. It's not faith in Jesus Christ + works or faith in Jesus Christ + something else but faith in Jesus Christ alone. (John 3:18; 1 John 5:11-13)

It's not about how much information do I know about God that I have placed my faith in for salvation. My answer to the question I asked you in post #143 would be because you (Jesus Christ) died for my sins, were buried and rose from the dead on the third day to provide for me eternal life. I trust in your death, burial and resurrection as the ALL-sufficient means of my salvation. (Romans 1:16; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) Nothing self-righteous about that. Now by that, I acknowledge that I am a sinner who cannot save himself (Romans 3:23) and I am 100% dependent on Jesus Christ to save me. (John 10:9; 14:6; Romans 6:23) Jesus Christ gets all the credit, all the glory for my salvation. Praise God! :)

So, the answer is not, "Lord, Lord, didn't WE (Matthew 7:22) but "Lord, Lord, didn't YOU. (1 Corinthians 1:18-21)
And you think that is it? Well bless your heart. I guess you can quit studying God's word now. Apparently, no need to go any further than that. :)

It was stated of those specifically. There is no indication that is a universal truth. And there are so many, many statements for continued salvation IF...... SUCH AND XUCH. Those are conditional statements. To interpret otherwise is a serious mistake.

"Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in." That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast through faith. So do not become proud, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you (Rom 11:19-21).

Broken off means that they were once a part of the basic root plant. You perhaps would not CHOSE to go back to those places. That does not mean there are not some that would. And if they do, they will be broken off.

The conditional statements apply only to those who are among believers, who are in fact liars and deceivers! Remember the wheat and tares grow together until the end of days. We are warned again and again not to be deceived by those tares pretending to be wheat.

Unbelief is not being lost, it's never having been found! You can't lose something you never possessed!
Is there anything in your life that you once believed in that you now no longer believe in? Maybe Santa Claus? Is it possible for someone to feel the same about God? I think it is. Belief is not a possession.

Anyone can break up their relationship with God, how so? Going from a believing heart, into an unbelieving heart. They can stop seeking after him in faith, and go back to just seeking the things of the world.

How can a believer stop believing having the Holy Spirit of Christ within you? The Spirit within is always testifying of Christ to our spirit.

John 15:25-26 (KJV) But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

Do you think salvation is just a belief in God?

this would not be true. it is much deeper than this.

People who dont understand Salvation, believe you can lose it.

What is Salvation?
Salvation is God bringing you into Himself, by Spiritual Birth.

"Born...... again".

Thats a Birth, and you can't end a birth, just like you can't stop a birth, as a birth, is a completion.
Salvation, is a spiritual birth, that God caused, and you didnt.

The best way to understand salvation, is to realize that Jesus is Salvation.

So....How do you know you are saved by God?
You will have Christ in you., because you have become a "temple of the Holy Spirit".. a "new Creation, in Christ".

This is to be born again.

"well, behold, what if i walk away from it".

You can't walk away from a birth.
Just ask your mother.
"mother, i dont believe im born any longer, ive walked away from it". "ive lost my faith in being born".

And your mother says..."oh really? will, apparently, you've lost your mind also.""""

Reader, you can't walk away from Christ in you.
He's not going anywhere.

"but behold, i just dont believe any more"..

Yet, you already did, and now you have Christ in you.

See....The only thing you can walk away from is your understanding of faith and your understanding of Salvation, and as soon as you believe you can lose it is the instant you have become deceived, about/regarding those 2.

Jesus said.,"i'll never leave you or forsake you", and that's a fact, as""" Christ in you, the hope of Glory""" is not going anywhere.

You are "fallen from Grace" yet, not from spiritual birth.

Your mind is WRONG, your faith is broken, and your theology is ROTTEN.....however, """Christ in you, the hope of Glory""", remains unchanged by your point of view or your behavior.

Salvation isn't something you do, its something you've become.

A.) "The righteousness of God in Christ"... = Born.... again.

It's typically those who think they had something to do to be saved who generally believe they can be lost. Since the work of salvation could not have been accomplished without their effort, then their effort can wane and they can again become lost. Sad really!

Notice THAT is what paul ,reminded the church , IF ye KEEP your confidence , IN HIM , that gospel ,
firm to the end . This must be a reminder to the church .
To keep firm the faith in HIM . the word that was taught you . what word ...............THE GOSPEL TRUTH OF THE LORD .
and to remind the church often and daily about all things HE taught , about continuing to the end .
Warning and reminding the church about what occurs to those who do not , who do not keep that first estate .
NOW you see why i do have some problems with some things getting taught .
Because we were always to have beheld both the GOODNESS and SERVERITY of GOD .
they did and they always taught and reminded the church as well . SO we should have continued to do so .
THERE is a reason WHY GOD DOES as HE DOES , why later BY the SPIRIT the apostels did and warned the church as they also did .
And also WHY the letters were kept throughout the centuries . CAUSE GOD INSPIRED THEM .
GOD has always known how to keep the lambs safe . BUT when men come along
and they try and omit and twist certain warnings and reminders , THIS AINT GONNA bode well at all .
Its not a sin nor any kind of error to warn and to remind the church , YE MUST CONTINUE TO THE END .
Yet today many seem to see it as error and not trusting GOD , CHRIST ,if one simply repeates these reminders .
SEE the problem yet .

When I was Born of God/ Born Again...that was all I knew...the Holy Spirit is the only one who can open up scripture for Gods Born Again child to understand.

We belong to God as soon as we become Born Again ...our whole lives are about to change...as we study Gods word and understand what it means to walk in the Spirit ( Fruit of the Spirit.....a wonderful living relationship with God through the Spirit.

It ain’t easy , nor did God say it would be...we just keep on walking with the Spirit and our faith just grows and grows...everything is also in Gods timing....we follow God...we die to self..

A Born Again can NEVER in a million years NOT believe...they are Born of God children...can never be un- birthed.

Of course the carnal mind wouldn’t understand any of this.

I have the Spirit of God testifying to my spirit all day every day, that I am his child...I have that security in Christ...and I thank God every day for his precious gift.

First of all, what you quoted was spoken to and about His disciples, and you are not one of them. Second of all, God didn't force you to become a believer and God doesn't force you to continue to be a believer. He, through the Holy Spirit, will certainly help you to continue believing, but He will not force it.

You were a born of God child at your birth. You became dead (un-birthed) when you sinned. You became dead in your trespasses and sins.

Are you one of those who believes that in becoming one in Christ that you give up your free will? Or perhaps you are one who rejects the idea of the free will for mankind altogether.

It's only by being one in Christ that man once again possesses free will! We aren't free until we are made free from bondage to sin and death! As long as we are in bondage to sin and death, we remain natural, fallen man. As a natural man we are only free to choose that which is natural to us. In darkness and unbelief we will NEVER naturally hear Christ calling us to be saved. The only voice we hear before we are born again is the voice we heeded in the garden when we listened to the voice of evil, and brought bondage to sin and death into God's creation.

Believing is a requirement for being saved. Believing is something that you do; God does not believe for you. What is really sad is that you fail to understand that.

Your words are unbiblical...therefore ignorant of Gods word...and “ VOID” of any truth...I’ll stick with the “ Living “ word of God...thanks.

Romans 8:7-9

Romans 8:7-9 NKJV

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.
