There are dissidents and false teachers within the Church. Jesus WARNED about this (Matt. 7:15-20). You should know this. Not a secret not everyone hears, reads, studies, believes the exact things, regardless of the Religion and the Denomination.
It’s @BreadOfLife pretense that every church acting under the name “catholic” all are in agreement. Even members of the same local “catholic” church are not all in agreement.
I wonder what his own Catholic Priest would think of his “posts” on this forum.
I already answered you. If you can't see that - there's not much else I can do for you.OK, if you don't want to answer fine
Well - we can no longer claim that yyu are saying this out of mere ignorance because I'be already explained the truth to you.
No - you are now simplt lying because you've run out of ammunition . . .
If a Catholic rejects the teachings of the Catholic Church - then, he is like YOU - just another Protestant.
Nope.Didnt Henry the V111 pay the vatican a few times to get some of his marriages annulled? And in the end they wouldnt keep doing it, so he left their church?
Your particular ignorance of Scripture aside - it is precisely because of God'sd infallibility that the Pope cannot teach error.
This isn't something he does on his own - but with the guidance of the Holy spirit (John 16:12015).
Whats a Ptrotestant Father?Nope.
Just anothe one of your unsubstantiated fairy tales.
Henry VIII wasn't granted a divorce or anullment from the Church - so he revolted, like the rest of your Ptrotestant Fathers.
Paul didn't rebuke Peter on a matter of teaching faith and morals.According to Paul, peter wasn't infallible, he rebuked him
When Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned. 12 For before certain men came from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles. But when they arrived, he began to draw back and separate himself from the Gentiles because he was afraid of those who belonged to the circumcision group. 13 The other Jews joined him in his hypocrisy, so that by their hypocrisy even Barnabas was led astray.Paul didn't rebuke Peter on a matter of teaching faith and morals.
He rebuked his behavior.
Infallibility doesn't mean that a Pope is correct about everything.
It is ONLY in matters of officially teaching on faith and morals.
You REALLY need to do your homework before posting again.
This is gertting embarrassing . . .
There isn't ANY idolatry or "worship" of anybody other than God in the Catholic Church. Then why is there so much idolatry and Mary worship in the RCC ? Obviously your pope isn’t getting those things from God.
I don't know of any Catholics who "pretend" that a marriage never occurred, either.
There isn't ANY idolatry or "worship" of anybody other than God in the Catholic Church.
Once again - YOU need to show me this teaching ferom the Catechism.
CAN you do that?
If not - are you willing to admit that you lied?

Sounds serious stuff to me!

So popes can behave badly and be hypocritical?Peter wasn't TEACHING anything.
He was BEHAVING badly - and Paul put him in his place.
BIG difference.
If any of the men in Jimmy Swaggarts congregation cheated on their wives BECAUSE of what Jimmy did - that's on THEM. He wasn't teaching them that this was what they should do.
