The resurrection is on the last day. What happens on the last day proves the truth.
The Last Day is the Last Day, there are no more days of this world left after the Last Day or it would not be the Last Day.

John 11 also shows the eternal life for them that believe in the Lord Jesus, they have an immortal soul which some on here deny, such as JW who say all just go poof as if they never were, saying they perish until the resurrection.

John 6:39
This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.

John 11:24
Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”

John 12:48
He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him— the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.

20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house. 21 Now Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.”

23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”

24 Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”

25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

27 She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”
The GWTJ is after the mil.
The second resurrection.
No dead in Christ raised at the GWTJ.

Does your assumption have Jesus ruling over nations of dead people?
Want to retract that impossibility?
Are you unable to respond to my question? Does Him being described as breaking (destroying) them with a rod of iron seem like a description of Him ruling over them the way you think He will? Are you afraid to address what the original prophecy actually says?

Psalm 2:7 I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. 8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. 9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

When you read this, it's no wonder why Him ruling with a rod of iron is described alongside Him smiting them and treading them in the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God in Revelation 19:15. He clearly will be destroying His enemies (the heathen) when He returns and not rule over them the way you falsely think He will. That is backed up by many other scriptures which have Him destroying all of His enemies when He returns (Matt 24:35-39, 1 Thess 5:2-3, 2 Thess 1:7-10, 2 Peter 3:10-12).
