No matter what "one obscure thought or verse" you have, they have never ERASED the rapture verses, and NEVER will.
There are 2 resurrections taught in scripture.
We know those in Chrisr are raised at the rapture. You somehow see some need to make all the several dynamics into one.
Your dismissal of the book of Rev proves you nave no intention of honest reconciling eschatology
The resurrection is on the last day. What happens on the last day proves the truth.
The Last Day is the Last Day, there are no more days of this world left after the Last Day or it would not be the Last Day.

John 11 also shows the eternal life for them that believe in the Lord Jesus, they have an immortal soul which some on here deny, such as JW who say all just go poof as if they never were, saying they perish until the resurrection.

John 6:39
This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.

John 11:24
Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”

John 12:48
He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him— the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.

20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house. 21 Now Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.”

23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”

24 Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”

25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

27 She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

We are in the 'last days' of this world, but there is also a 'last day' of this world

this explains what happens on that 'last day'

The resurrection of the saints occurs on that 'lastday', not before. Just as Christ says. Why would anyone deny Christ His words?

John 6:44
No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.

The Day of Judgement is also on the Last Day when He appears.

It does appear some of you deny Christ His words here about the judgement saying it is at different times for the saved and unsaved.
There is only one return of Christ, which has not yet happened..
All the nations gathered means all the people of all nations will be there, not just some people.

The Son of Man Will Judge the Nations

31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the [c]holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

44 “Then they also will answer [d]Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

John 5
24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

25 Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.

26 For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself,

27 and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man.

*************************************************************************************************************

28 Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. 30 I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.

All are resurrected together, good and bad, and the bad are judged while the righteous have already received eternal life when they believed in Christ. Before the hearing, all were spiritually dead, only the ones who hear God are saved and given eternal life when they believed, while still in the body.

This is split into 2 separate events, for them believing in the current body of flesh receiving eternal life at that moment, then afterwards, comes the resurrection of life and resurrection of condemnation in that hour, meaning contemporaneously all hear Christ and are resurrected

v25 the hour is coming and now is, Christ says that part is today. Today is the day of salvation, if you hear His voice, you will spiritually live.

v28 the hour is coming, but not now is means the resurrection is in the future.

In Acts, Paul teaches the resurrection of the dead, which includes the just and the unjust....

14 But this I confess to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect, so I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets.

15 I have hope in God, which they themselves also accept, that there will be a resurrection [a]of the dead, both of the just and the unjust.

16 This being so, I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men.

The way this is phrased shows the resurrection of the dead occurs at the same time for all people.

These souls never perished they had eternal life when they believed. So they did not come to life in heaven. They were spiritually alive on earth and spiritually alive in heaven when they were slain. It says nothing about the saved coming alive again, as they are alive and are reigning in heaven with Christ, WHICH agrees with Ephesians too.

Rev 20
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for [a]a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

Ephesians 2
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

See if you can figure it out for yourself. It is written in the text. The second death has no power over them as they are priests of God and Christ, WHICH also is proven we are such right now when we believe,

As it is written to the churches,

Greeting the Seven Churches

4 John, to the seven churches which are in Asia:

Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.

To Him who [b]loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, 6 and has made us [c]kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

The priesthood of ALL BELIEVERS
The Bible teaches that all believers in Christ are priests in their own right. The main passage that deals with the priesthood of all believers is 1 Peter 2:5–9: “You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. . . . But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (ESV).

You still sound a bit confused about that John 5:28-29 Scripture.

Might you believe in men's false 'dead in the ground' theory, and that it is our flesh... that is resurrected? That's an old Jewish tradition of men, and not what God's Word reveals that will happen. Only Lord Jesus' flesh was raised, and then 'quickened' back to a Spirit body, by which He went and preached The Gospel to the "spirits in prison". Our flesh won't be raised from the casket, for that is a myth.

It is our spirit with soul that is resurrected, not our flesh.

And in Matthew 23:27 Jesus symbolically referred to the spiritually dead as being 'dead' inside their flesh. What's inside our flesh? Our spirit with soul. That is what Jesus was pointing to there that was 'spiritually' dead, even while those Pharisees were yet alive in their flesh. That means, Jesus was pointing to the idea of a DEAD SPIRIT-SOUL.

How is it then, that many brethren cannot figure out "the dead" of Rev.20:5 represent that SAME IDEA, except those will no longer have flesh bodies as the "resurrection of damnation"? One who is still spiritually dead means their spirit-soul is subject to the SECOND DEATH of being cast into the future "lake of fire" after Christ's future 1,000 years reign.

This is total nonsense. Our spirits don't die, so they won't need to be resurrected. Our bodies do. Our souls and spirits separate from our bodies and go to be with the Lord in heaven when we physically die. That's why Paul said that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Cor 5:6-8). The natural flesh bodies of the dead will be raised, but then they will immediately be changed to be spiritual bodies after being resurrected (1 Cor 15:42-54). That's why Paul said the body we have now is sewn a natural body and is raised a spiritual body. He said the natural body will be raised. You miss that. But, it will be changed to be a spiritual body after it is raised. This will happen in an instant. Nowhere does scripture ever talk about a resurrection of the spirit with soul. The spirit with soul does not die.

Right, and that makes the following verse present tense.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Throughout the figurative thousand years that began with Christ's resurrection, those who are part of the church become "priests of God and of Christ" as part of the "royal priesthood" of the church and they reign with Christ both while still living and after physical death when their souls and spirits go to be with Jesus in heaven.

But that "day of the Lord" when Jesus returns after the trib is NOT God's Great White Throne Judgment of the unsaved. Amills are wrongly taught to omit the Revelation 20 chapter where Jesus revealed starting on the day of His future return, He will reign over the unsaved for a "thousand years", with His elect, on the earth per Rev.5. And only then after... that "thousand years" will the unsaved be judged to destruction in the "lake of fire" along with Satan, hell, and death (Rev.20).

God's Word is a lot more detailed than what many think, even in The Old Testament Books.

In Isaiah 25, God through His prophet Isaiah revealed that at Christ's future return ALL... nations and peoples will have the veil of this present flesh world cast off...

Isa 25:1-9
1 O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt Thee, I will praise Thy name; for Thou hast done wonderful things; Thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
2 For Thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.
3 Therefore shall the strong people glorify Thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear Thee.
4 For Thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
5 Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.

The above verses are about God's "consuming fire" that will burn man's works off this earth on "the day of the Lord", the day when Jesus returns in our near future (2 Peter 3:10-13; Hebrews 12:25-29).

6 And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make
unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

7
And He will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.

8
He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of His people shall He take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.

9 And it shall be said in that day, "Lo, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation."
KJV

Then the above verses are about the casting off of the flesh FOR ALL PEOPLE AND ALL NATIONS. It means the END OF THE FLESH DEATH OF THIS PRESENT WORLD. Only the "second death" of Revelation 20 will remain in that future time, and Apostle Paul covered all... of this in 1 Corinthians 15. The above verse 8 is even where Paul was quoting from about death being swallowed up in victory.

In 1 Corinthians 15:53-54, per the Greek, Apostle Paul used FOUR different Greek words to define the difference between the states of 'corruption', 'incorruption', 'this mortal', and 'immortality'. The unsaved when Jesus returns will NOT put on immortality, but will still be subject to the "second death" of being cast into the "lake of fire" after Christ's "thousand years" reign.

Thus many brethren are just not... paying attention to the details given in God's Word about all this, and instead like to create HALF-TRUTHS and run with them, arguing while showing their Biblical illiteracy.

What is your understanding of what that entails? Scripture associates that with Jesus breaking/destroying them, not ruling over them the way you think He will.

Psalm 2:7 I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. 8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. 9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

Does your understanding of Him ruling with a rod of iron match what is described here? Do you have Him destroying the heathen with a rod of iron as this text describes?

The Great Day of the Lord

1 The word of the Lord which came to Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hezekiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah.

The Great Day of the Lord

2 “I will [a]utterly consume everything
From the face of the land,”
Says the Lord;

3 “I will consume man and beast;
I will consume the birds of the heavens,
The fish of the sea,
And the [b]stumbling blocks along with the wicked.
I will cut off man from the face of the [c]land,”
Says the Lord.

4 “I will stretch out My hand against Judah,
And against all the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
[d]I will cut off every trace of Baal from this place,
The names of the idolatrous[e] priests with the pagan priests—

5 Those who worship the host of heaven on the housetops;
Those who worship and swear oaths by the Lord,
But who also swear by [f]Milcom;

6 Those who have turned back from following the Lord,
And have not sought the Lord, nor inquired of Him.”

7 Be silent in the presence of the Lord God;
For the day of the Lord is at hand,
For the Lord has prepared a sacrifice;
He has [g]invited His guests.

8 “And it shall be,
In the day of the Lord’s sacrifice,
That I will punish the princes and the king’s children,
And all such as are clothed with foreign apparel.

9 In the same day I will punish
All those who leap over the threshold,
Who fill their masters’ houses with violence and deceit.

10 “And there shall be on that day,” says the Lord,
“The sound of a mournful cry from the Fish Gate,
A wailing from the Second Quarter,
And a loud crashing from the hills.

11 Wail, you inhabitants of [h]Maktesh!
For all the merchant people are cut down;
All those who handle money are cut off.

12 “And it shall come to pass at that time
That I will search Jerusalem with lamps,
And punish the men
Who are settled[i] in complacency,
Who say in their heart,
‘The Lord will not do good,
Nor will He do evil.’

13 Therefore their goods shall become booty,
And their houses a desolation;
They shall build houses, but not inhabit them;
They shall plant vineyards, but not drink their wine.”

14 The great day of the Lord is near;
It is near and hastens quickly.
The noise of the day of the Lord is bitter;
There the mighty men shall cry out.

15 That day is a day of wrath,
A day of trouble and distress,
A day of devastation and desolation,
A day of darkness and gloominess,
A day of clouds and thick darkness,

16 A day of trumpet and alarm
Against the fortified cities
And against the high towers.

17 “I will bring distress upon men,
And they shall walk like blind men,
Because they have sinned against the Lord;
Their blood shall be poured out like dust,
And their flesh like refuse.”

18 Neither their silver nor their gold
Shall be able to deliver them
In the day of the Lord’s wrath;
But the whole land shall be devoured
By the fire of His jealousy,
For He will make speedy riddance
Of all those who dwell in the land.

15 “For the day of the Lord upon all the nations is near;
As you have done, it shall be done to you;
Your [g]reprisal shall return upon your own head.

16 For as you drank on My holy mountain,
So shall all the nations drink continually;
Yes, they shall drink, and swallow,

And they shall be as though they had never been.

Israel’s Final Triumph

17 “But on Mount Zion there shall be [h]deliverance,
And there shall be holiness;
The house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.

18 The house of Jacob shall be a fire,
And the house of Joseph a flame;

But the house of Esau shall be stubble;
They shall kindle them and devour them,
And no survivor shall remain of the house of Esau,”
For the Lord has spoken.

Romans 9 and the comparison of the wicked vessels of wrath who are destroyed (ESAU, made like Sodom) versus the vessels of mercy whom God has chosen for salvation (JACOB, chosen by God and blessed by Him) across the entire earth.

10 And not only this, but when Rebecca also had conceived by one man, even by our father Isaac

11 (for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls),

12 it was said to her, “The older shall serve the younger.”

13 As it is written, “Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.”

Israel’s Rejection and God’s Justice

14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not! 15 For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.” 16 So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to the Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.” 18 Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens.

19 You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?”

20 But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?”

21 Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?

22 What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known,
endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,

23 and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory,

24 even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

25 As He says also in Hosea:

“I will call them My people, who were not My people,
And her beloved, who was not beloved.”
26 “And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them,
‘You are not My people,’
There they shall be called sons of the living God.”
27 Isaiah also cries out concerning Israel:

“Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea,
The remnant will be saved.

28 For [b]He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness,
Because the Lord will make a short work upon the earth.”

29 And as Isaiah said before:

“Unless the Lord of [c]Sabaoth had left us a seed,
We would have become like Sodom,
And we would have been made like Gomorrah
.”

Does your assumption have Jesus ruling over nations of dead people?
Want to retract that impossibility?
