If you are born again you here the sound of the wind - if you hear the Holy Spirit you know that He is not ink on pages but He is the Spirit of the Word of God, and that He takes the words of God which belong to Jesus Christ (The Word of God) and does not speak on His own initiative. So you could not write that the things needed is reading the Scriptures as opposed to listen to our Lord Jesus Christ via His Holy Spirit. So what make you think you are "born again". Do you now have testimonies of hearing Him personally?

I hope so, because He has always been there at the door speaking, but have you ever opened up to Him, so that you come to know Him?
And if so, should you not go back to making it about hearing with faith, instead of leaning on your own understanding of the Law?

This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?

There are those who having begun by the Spirit turn back to their own understanding of the Scriptures, thinking that in them and their own understanding they are saved. But it is those who make in about hearing with faith, like Abraham (who believed even without have the Scriptures to explain this to him) are reckoned are righteous by God.

So it is about seeking the voice of the Word of God (Jesus Christ) which come to those who believe through the Holy Spirit speaking to our spirit. Will He tell you to read the Scriptures? His first words to me were, "Read Your Bible", but what if a person was to make an idol out of the Bible, so that the person stopped seeking Him and His voice and went back to leaning on their own understanding of the Bible - like in the case of the Galatians. Would it not be better for them to tell them to go back to hearing by faith, even if it meant they were told to stop reading their Bible for a while and just focus on hearing the Lord by faith. Indeed what spirit bewitches a person so that they stop hearing the Lord by faith and go back to leaning on their own understanding, even so they start thinking that reading the Scripture is the one thing necessary?

I have not lied to anyone by saying I've never read or studied the bible. I had for over 40 years. After having worked in Disneyland for 40 plus years and leaving the park to go on vacation, retire or work at another theme park doesn't mean their memory of it is erased.

I continually like what you write. It is from a person who knows the Lord. I am not surprised, but even understood that you had read the Bible many times:

I've studied it for decades

And not surprised you brought up how the Bible does not contain all the words our Lord Jesus Christ needs to speak to us. That should be obvious, and there is something in the Bible about if all that Jesus had done just on earth, and so around His disciples, had been written down perhaps the whole world could not contain it. That is explained in the Bible, and only a person who does not know Him would not understand that.

He once told me, " Karl, I cannot be contained in a box, not even a Bible box."
Another time He told me, "Can 1,500 pages tell you all I have to say to you?"
The fact is that believer are to hear from Him everyday called "Today", and if that happens it is not possible for the Bible to have all the words He will tell you. It is not even close. And if they are hearing from Him, how come they never seem share anything He every told them. Was He not worth listening to?

Indeed, if there were taught by God, as in the OP, should they not be able to pass on a teaching to the benefit of all? And so someone says something about being born again, as if they are, but it is written about those born again:

So where is their testimony of what they know from being taught by God? What I find is that they just don't accept out testimony, or why else did they get upset when you explain that He told you to stop reading the Bible because you were making an idol out of it. Yes, Satan and his angels are given the task to deceive. Who are deceived, is up to God. The great thing is God will pause this role of Satan's for a time (1000 years) then God will set him free to deceive again. God will eventually bring Satan's role as the deceiver to an end. Isn't that comforting.

An excellent proof that the Scriptures are not the Word of God.

We know where the Scriptures are coming from - they are in the bibles that we buy from the store, or are given to us by someone.

But where exactly is the Lord who sends His Spirit who give us His words? In heaven? Yes, but where is that? In our midst? Yes, but where in our midst In our heart? Yeah but we are not talking about the organ that beats in us, but just somewhere that we can pick up with our spirit.

So the Word of God we preach is found near us, in our mouth and in our heart but where does He come from. I can not point to heaven, even if I say it is in our midst. But I can point to my Bible, but it is not always near me. I don't take the Bible to the store, but I can hear the wind speaking to me in words I can hear in me at the store, while walking down the isles, while driving in my car, while doing the work I have to do, and I have talked to Him while flying in an airplane. And He is not left behind when the plane takes off, goes high, or lands. He is always with me, and so I can always talk to Him, The Living Word of God, Jesus Christ!!

I just came back from a walk He asked me to go on with Him. I heard Him on the walk and the conversation was about my son's college soccer team he coaches. I like my son and like supporting his team, but not a word about that is in the Bible. Our lives are just not made up of what's written in the Bible. So is it the 1500 pages in the Bible that you call the word of God. or is it Him who never leaves you nor forsakes you? Who is your God??

He once told me on one of those walks with Him:

What or who we preach is our God? And did you not write that the thing necessary was the Bible?

And to help you I proved, using the Bible, that you are wrong about that!! He, Jesus Christ who sends His Holy Spirit with His words to our spirit, is the Word of God what we are preaching!! He is the One thing necessary in your life, and the Bible tells us so!

So God writes a command, Do not kill which He has Moses deliver to His people.

God later speaks a command to Joshua to kill which he delivers to His people.

Which command of God should Caleb obey? According to you Caleb should have said to Joshua, YA AINT HEARING FROM GOD my friend .

If a person or an Angel or the Spirit of God shows you from the bible that what you currently believe doesn't line up with what's written in the bible you would concede and believe the new revelation?
