Any other Christians in here interested in evolution? I mean genuinely wants to understand it.

“Evolutionist” don’t argue that dogs are different species. We know they are all the same species. Breed is just another name for cultivar or selection and not a byproduct of speciation. Breeds are created through artificial selection. Subspecies are created through natural selection. So...

Any other Christians in here interested in evolution? I mean genuinely wants to understand it.

Good because that’s what I study as well. Which is why I can tell you are already speaking beyond what you know. You’re taking something and trying to act as if it’s something else contrary to evolution lol. The first section is mostly nonsense. you stated about me, “You are incorrect. I...

Any other Christians in here interested in evolution? I mean genuinely wants to understand it.

You jumped around quite a bit. I think you’re choosing to turn a blind eye to the issues you bring up, such as leaping from how does abiogenesis occur after nutrient biosynthesis. What I mean is that you’re talking about gene transfer , as if that’s how amino acids developed. That may fool the...

Any other Christians in here interested in evolution? I mean genuinely wants to understand it.

I like the quote also. I see God in all of creation as well. Just not as a designer. Same as I see Yahweh in humanity such as when someone shows love and mercy to others, and believe that being steward of the land is something we as a species is supposed to be doing. So I see god in nature like...

Any other Christians in here interested in evolution? I mean genuinely wants to understand it.

Sure. But adaptation is still just natural selection and evolution when you’re referring to morphological changes. Though very few morphological changes occur within a species lifetime. Do you mean learned behavior?

I would have a hard time classifying it as polemic… but I definitely agree that plays a role in it. It was undermining and disagreeing with other ancient Mesopotamian faiths. but I think we can still work out it’s genre. when we look at genesis 1-11 we see thousands of years fly by in a few...

Any other Christians in here interested in evolution? I mean genuinely wants to understand it.

Ok. So since you claim to have a bachelors degree biology…. Well let’s start with this. What’s your view. OEC? YEC? Is intelligent design part it? I’ll ignore the others, and try to have a conversation with you.

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

Well we have 66 books in Protestant bibles. It there are currently about 4 main Christian collection of scriptures and there has been several bibles. The Coptic Christian Bible is different from the catholic Bible and those are different from Lutheran collections and all of those are older than...

What day was water created on and why is it not on the new earth?

What day do you think water was created on? Why was it not frozen before the sun was created? Why does it say no sea in the new earth. I already know what I believe and I’ll post it after work. Just curious what do y’all believe. One clue is chaos.

Any other Christians in here interested in evolution? I mean genuinely wants to understand it.

yoire so far off I just don’t even really know where to start. It’s you , not me, that thinks it just popped into existence without any evidence. that’s the difference. In science when you don’t have the answer, you say so, vs beliefs like YEC/OEC/ID just says “ god did it “. That’s not...

Any other Christians in here interested in evolution? I mean genuinely wants to understand it.

So you mean when you ask these scientists, instead of lying…. They say that we don’t yet know enough about abiogenesis to give you a answer… abiogenesis is separate from evolution by the way. when it comes to abiogenesis we have seen several different potential ways chemical evolution played a...

Any other Christians in here interested in evolution? I mean genuinely wants to understand it.

Whatever you have to tell yourself. just don’t forget, I made this thread and I laid out the point of the thread very clearly. Several times I mentioned, this is not here for a debate. This is for fellowship between those who accept evolution and those who want to understand how to harmonize...

Were gymnosperms, angiosperms or spore bearing plants show up first in superimposed layers?

Your answer makes no sense. It’s not a answer to the paradigm presented by the person i questioned who stated all things were vegetarian before sin.

Were gymnosperms, angiosperms or spore bearing plants show up first in superimposed layers?

A few things. God is not a name. It’s a title. In Hebrew it’s not capitalized. God or god, Jesus or jesus, it’s all the same. Do you know what genre is? The Bible uses several types of genre doesn’t it? So do you think in revelation there are literally four horsemen and horned sea monsters? Is...

Were gymnosperms, angiosperms or spore bearing plants show up first in superimposed layers?

Though I’ll read this response… can you link me towards a scientific link about vegetarian wolves, lions and so on in the fossil record? though I guess you believe in some form of old earth and dinosaurs were first and gone before us right because of some gap theory where god said day and...

Were gymnosperms, angiosperms or spore bearing plants show up first in superimposed layers?

so your scientific response to how trees evolved is just some verse and magic? Ok……. I’m guessing you deny meteorology as well? You don’t know how clouds form and why it rains either? It’s just “ god did it “? or how about how babies are born? Just god knitted you in the womb…. well I...

You think scientist don’t know how seeds evolved? https://nph.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1469-8137.2010.03249.x Have you considered looking up a evolutionary botanist online at a college and emailing them?

And a fool without a diploma who thinks they know better than thousands of experts is arrogant. As For what’s to discuss. My question…..

Thoughts on this paper? The overestimation of the uneducated when disagreeing with actual experts.

Overconfidence and Opposition to Scientific Consensus - NeuroLogica Blog Often times you’ll find people who reject the wisdom of experts. They fool themselves into thinking they are wise, but they are fools. Any thoughts?

let’s try this. Can you tell me the process of how Yahweh created fruit trees?
