    Looking realistically at ourselves.

Jesus treated the Scriptures like it was God's word (John 17:17). The Bible is the only secure, reliable, fixed and stable written document, through which we can directly know the divine principles, the thoughts of God, with direct and understandable words without great effort.

1 JOHN WAS WRITTEN TO ISRAEL

If that is the case, why there is not a single direct quote of the Hebrew Scriptures?

    The Never-Ending Kingdom (2 Ages)

Are you serious? I mean no disrespect, but that doctrine is called preterism, and what we observe happening in the world completely contradicts that belief.

    DON'T REJECT PAUL

Acts 9:10 There was a disciple named Ananias in Damascus, and the Lord said to him in a vision: “Ananias!” He said: “Here I am, Lord.” 11 The Lord said to him: “Get up, go to the street called Straight, and look for a man named Saul, from Tarsus, at the house of Judas. For look! he is praying...

    Looking realistically at ourselves.

To learn the official teachings of the Governing Body of the worldwide community of Jehovah's Witnesses, you can access the official website where only they publish Bible studies and current topics related to the Bible. No one else can publish there, and no Witness in the world can speculate on...

    Looking realistically at ourselves.

I understand what you say. Thanks for sharing your personal experience. In my case, since I learned from Jehovah's witnesses, I quickly realized that the teaching of their Governing Body was actually in agreement with what the Bible teaches on the hottest issues in the modern "Christian" world...

    Looking realistically at ourselves.

I think doing the same Bereans did can help: Acts 17:10 Immediately by night the brothers sent both Paul and Silas to Beroea. On arriving, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they accepted the word with the greatest...

    Looking realistically at ourselves.

In the first century, Christians who learned directly from Jesus had to teach the same things they received. Those who learned from them, in turn, had to teach based on those same early teachings. Those were the received truths that had to be preached before the end. When those truths were no...

Is Sound Doctrine Essential for Salvation?

In terms of participating in a forum, it's acceptable, but if we're considering what Jesus truly thinks, it's a different matter. Claiming that Jesus endorses certain teachings and practices without evidence is misleading... it distorts his image to fit individual preferences. To truly follow...

"The heavens and the earth" were "created"--"WITHOUT FORM."

After its creation, the earth was "formless and void," resembling a meteor or asteroid. Even the planets we recognize today are unlike our planet once it was reformed to support "physical" life. If imagining the earth before its transformation is challenging, consider a rock. Though rocks are...

"The heavens and the earth" were "created"--"WITHOUT FORM."

Don't hold me responsible for your lack of understanding about the cosmos' structure. Your perspective is limited to "planet Earth," while God is the Creator of the entire Universe, encompassing all stars, galaxies, galaxy clusters, and beyond. You're simply a grain of sand in some tiny...

"The heavens and the earth" were "created"--"WITHOUT FORM."

Long before creating a planet to inhabit it with living beings, there were places in the heavens that are invisible to our eyes and where millions of beings live in the form of spirits. The earth was part of many astral bodies that fill the material Universe, of which we do not know what use...

DOES NO ONE WANT TO BE CORRECTED?

Since there are already many like you saying the same things and using the Bible to justify their doctrines, how do you prove that you are the one people should choose instead of someone else? Moreover, does the Bible say that a person would appear on an internet forum saying that we should...

"The heavens and the earth" were "created"--"WITHOUT FORM."

If we look at a photo of a meteor or asteroid traveling through space, what we see is the same as if we were looking at a rock: an object with a deformed mass, whose surface is only rocky, rough, nothing but inert material. When the Bible describes what the earth was like before it began to be...

The slander against the faithful apostle Paul

In Colossians 4:16, Paul refers to a letter he penned to the church in Laodicea. However, this letter is absent from the recognized canon. It evidently wasn't meant for our era, and although it might have been beneficial for the believers back then, it wasn't necessary for us. We can be sure...

James 4:12 Who are you to judge your neighbor?

Within the congregations (organized communities) that are led by Jesus, there are people assigned to judge the anti-Christian behavior of their members. In the Bible, these service positions are called in Greek ἐπισκοπή and διάκονος (1 Tim. 3:1, 8). These people are responsible for keeping these...

The slander against the faithful apostle Paul

Everything in the Bible is inspired. If there is something which was not, then it's not part of the Bible. It's understood that numerous writings from early Christians in the first century existed, and Paul might have penned additional letters. Why aren't these included in the canon? They were...

Is the claim of only one God false? - How many gods are there?

Jesus completely agreed with the existence of only one God to worship: John 17:3 This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.

DOES NO ONE WANT TO BE CORRECTED?

I can't find any answers to my questions in that comment. Should I interpret your response as cryptic?hmn It feels like an automated reply, as if generated by a machine rather than a human. I apologize, but I'm not keen on engaging in such a conversation. Regardless, thank you for the...

    On the pre-existence of Jesus

According to the doctrine, not to the Bible. There is no Greek language where the verbal form "was" means "always was," nor is there a modern language either. You seem to believe that Catholic Councils has anything to add to biblical understanding. Well, you're wrong. Nah. None of those...
