Same thing. Why would a child lead animals in the NHNE?
They are not the same thing. A "leader child" is a specific child. "A child will lead" is not. It could be any non specified child.
There are no marriages and all are immortal. Obviously the verse is not set in the NHNE.
As far as marriage in the new earth; most say there will not be marriage based on Matt 22:30. While I'm not 100% sure about marriage, I am hesitant to build a doctrine on one verse. For one thing, it says we will be like the angels in heaven. But we will not be in heaven but on the earth and we will have bodies like Jesus' body. I'm not sure how the two ideas can coexist. I'm not saying the scriptures are wrong of course. I'm just saying I don't understand all of them, and this is one of those areas.

I'd be interested to get your take on Isaiah 65:17-25 ( note verse 20 mentions children) as well as who you think the child is in Isaiah 11:6. I don't recall you having said who you think it is. Like I said, I'm unsure so I can't really debate the point. Just curious as to what you think.

What specifically?

as well as who you think the child is in Isaiah 11:6. I don't recall you having said who you think it is.

It's just using the idea of a child being safe around such animals, like how later it speaks of babies playing where poisonous snakes live but will be safe.

I think most of the passage is symbolic, implying the greatest type of safety and peace that had not been known to man in this world not that predators will literally spend time with their prey but not prey upon them as before.

When do you see this happening? Clearly it's not happening just yet.

If it is indeed symbolic, who determines its meaning. You? Me? The Pope? Franklin Graham? If it is me, why can't I say that it means humans will co-exist with aliens from a star in the constellation Leo?

Exodus and Revelation are completely different contexts.

But if you are right, then we all get tossed into the lake of fire, given that we've all sinned.
Unless you turn to Christ and put on His robe of righteousness, you will perish.

There are no children in the NHNE.

Maybe it is this child leader of animals in the NHNE you believe in.

See above.
God will judge each according to the individual, and children will be taken up as well as those with disabilities or old age. None will be held back by such issues, only sin...

In Gods New Jerusalem that comes down, He will have His saints and we see in Isaiah 11:6 that “a little child shall lead them” It is referencing how a child will be able to lead the wild beasts in the new earth because sin will be no more, no more killing or being killed, no fear of the animals or they of man, all back to what God intended in the Garden of Eden.

Isaiah 11:6-9
The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
