If he is being taught right when he reads the scriptures, how is his teaching going to be not right?

I don't know, why? Do you think it's impossible for someone to misunderstand something and not give the right teaching about it?

Are you accusing him of deliberately being a false teacher?

If you read my post this question is answered.

Much love!

Not if they are relying on the Holy Spirit in their study time (John 16:13).

If you read my post this question is answered.

Sorry I didn't quite catch the answer. Spell it out for me.

I'm not talking about you being taught. I'm talking about you teaching others

A good teacher teaches what is taught in scriptures without adding or subtracting from them. This is what I do.

A bad teacher teaches man’s traditions that render biblical teachings void. This is what many do.

Such passages may indeed have a negative effect for a short season; but for the one who walks uprightly, they will have a positive effect in the long run.

They will not "ruin a person's faith" as @Behold has said.

2 Peter 3:14-16 KJV
14) Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
15) And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16) As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

It can happen.

Much love!

The word of the Lord will not do harm to the person who walks uprightly (Micah 2:7).

Trying to keep yourself saved by holding unto faith, is a rejection of the ONE WHO SAVES.
Stop trying to be your own savior.
Its a fail.
Holding onto JESUS. When are you going to start listening and stop filtering everything through your one trick hobby horse doctrine?

So, the reality is that in saying that I have been adversely affected by the epistle to the Hebrews, he is accusing me of not being one who walks uprightly.

This he is taking on the nature and employment of the accuser of the brethren.
You put words in his mouth. And make him out to be the devil.

Jesus is the author and finisher of my Faith. Hebrews 12:2
"finisher".
See that part?
I can no more keep myself saved by holding unto my faith, then you can.
Think.
If you understood that the continuation of believing is holding onto Jesus you'd get it and you'd stop being so annoying, lol.

Where?

If so, I'm wrong. Where have I?

Much love!
You said that I "put words in his mouth" and that in doing so I have accused him of being a devil / slanderer.

That is accusing me of being a slanderer / accuser.

Did @Behold accuse you of not walking uprightly? Please point me to the post.

I know that you deny that the book of Hebrews is inspired or that it can have a positive effect on those who read it.

Did he say that the book of Hebrews was not inspired? Or are those your words? Did he say the book of Hebrews cannot have a positive effect on those who read it?

I've never seen that. You've never quoted him on that. You've stated he says these things, denies these things, but where does he say this?

I think we are better served by dropping all this and just compare notes on Scripture.

Much love!
