Jesus never said these types were “ going to Hell”...... He said they are “ IN DANGER OF going to Hell.....Not much of a surprise, but you completely missed the Point Of Jesus’ Sermon.....
The POINT is we are ALL in danger of going to Hell.....nobody can meet God’s Standard,which is Perfection .....we ALL need God's Grace .....Jesus did not preach some kind of “Moral Code” That If attained, would make us fit for Heaven.....
Jesus did not preach rules to follow or commands to obey in order to ” Earn” Salvation .....Jesus preached HIMSELF .....he told His Disciples that they “must do the WILL Of The FATHER” in order to get to Heaven....What was the Will Of The Father? “ Believe in the One that He Sent.” So simple most miss it ....Are you one Of Those? In 1 John 3:9, it says that the one who is born of God "cannot sin".
Very likely, John was using hyperbole...which means he was exaggerating to make a point.
What point?
That those who are born again have made a 180-degree turn away from sin, death, hell, and satan, towards righteousness, life, heaven, and God.
Therefore, they are walking in a new direction, away from sin.
As it is written,
Pro 4:18, But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
God is holy...so to turn to God means to turn to holiness and thus away from sin.
