But the Mary that is worshiped as the Queen of Heaven is not the real Virgin Mary at all, but is a pagan goddess tarted up to look like Mary. This is what a deception is - to fool people into believing they are worshiping a truly divine figure as the mother of God. A trapper is not going to place the trap in plain view of the bird. Trout anglers wear camouflaged clothing so the trout cannot spot the angler on the river bank. Satan has set up a whole fraudulent, deceptive, counterfeit Church and made it appear to be the one established by Christ 2000 years ago, and through it is deceiving and fooling countless numbers of people into thinking they are worshiping God in the true Church; but in reality they don't know they are treading on the rotten branches that cover the bottomless pit.
Worship of
anybody or
anything other than
God is strictly
prohibited by the Church - and
HAS been since christ built it
2000 years ago.
The
Catechism of the Catholic Church explicitly states:
ARTICLE 1
THE FIRST COMMANDMENT
I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself a graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them or serve them.3
It is written: "You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve."4
I. "YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD AND HIM ONLY SHALL YOU SERVE"
2084 God makes himself known by recalling his all-powerful loving, and liberating action in the history of the one he addresses: "I brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage." The first word contains the first commandment of the Law: "You shall fear the LORD your God; you shall serve him. . . . You shall not go after other gods."5 God's first call and just demand is that man accept him and worship him.
There is really
no sense in making up
lies here - so consider yoursaelf
DEBUNKED . . .
Why do you think there was such opposition during the Reformation against having the Scriptures published in the common languages of the people instead of Latin, which hardly any ordinary person understood? As soon as the Scriptures appeared in the languages of the common people, the deception was revealed, and people saw that the paganised so-called "true" Church was nothing like the early church of Acts.
It is like a dishonest accountant in a company embezzling funds. He doesn't want any other account to see the books because if an honest accountant saw the books, his deception would be exposed. Most crooked accountants are exposed when they get sick and a replacement account comes in and discovers the irregularities in the firm's books.
That is why the paganised Church did everything it could to stop the Bible being published in the language of the common people, because it knew that as soon as people saw the truth in the Scriptures, it's deception would be exposed.
This is one of my
FAVORITE anti-Catholic
lies because the
ignorance it takes to repeat it is
REALLY astounding.
Time for a little
history lesson . . .
First of all - there was
no opposition to having the Scriptures published
DURING the Reformation - as the
printing press had bveen around for about
100 years.
Before that - Bibles were
HANDWRITTEN, took
YEARS to produce a single copy - and were
really expensive and
difficult to come by. For this reason, they were
chained to pulpits for
protective reasons.
Now - up until the
19th century - as much as
85-90% of the population was functionally
ILLITERATE and had
ZERO use for a copy of the Bible. For the most part - only the
rich and
educated could read anyway. It was among
this group that
spurious and
heretical copies of the Bible began to be produced because some people were
rich enough to have a copy made - but
didn't have the scholarly
linguistic resources to properly
translate the original languages.
Now, we had some
major problems in the Church because of this. In the
13th century -
300 years
BEFORE the Protestant Revolt - the
Council of Toulouse forbade the
(handwritten) reproduction of Bibles because of what was happening. After the invention of the
printing press - Protestants began to argue about
deleteing Books from the
NT, as they had done with the
7 Books of the
OT. Books like,
James, Hebrews, Jude and
Revelation were on the chopping block by men like
Luther and
Calvin. Being the
guardian of the Scriptures - this is yet
another reaso why the Church was
against the private translating of Scripture.
By the grace of God - c
ooler heads prevailed and this
editing of Books
stopped.
If it
hadn't -
YOUR Bibles would be a
LOT thinner than they
already are . . .
