In the Greek, you can read it either way correctly. That's why looking to the other passage.8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD of the Lamb SLAIN.
Instead of the proper way....
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
In the KJV, you can only read it one way.In the Greek, you can read it either way correctly. That's why looking to the other passage.
Much love!
I have thought about it. You don't have a clue. No, Jesus was made OUR God by default.
The Col 2:9 effect on his quickening spirit body made him the very
No, God made all things by, for and THROUGH Jesus, who was slain from the foundation of the world.
Think about that for a minute.
So you're saying a man created all things and then became God? lolNo, His God is inside him.
This is the man Christ Jesus and his God this speaks of...
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Not, God AS A man.
You would rather believe that 100% of God's Spirit made Himself into a microscopic sperm cell to mate with a woman's egg cell, creating a God/man in 2 decades time?Anyway, a man CANNOT be MADE to be the infinite God of the Bible. Jesus always existed as God.
I have thought about it. You don't have a clue.
No, God made everything through the lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world, which God had the ability to interact with.So you're saying a man created all things and then became God? lol
How many God's do you believe in? Do you even know? A man CANNOT be "MADE" the infinite God! You taught the Bible 40 years???No, God made everything through the lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world, which God had the ability to interact with.
I hardly think so, myself, so we'll part ways on this one. It surprises me that someone wouldn't want to know how a passage was written in it's original language."The Greek" is a new excuse for modern day redefinitions.
This is our lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
So which is it? Is he truly God, eternally existent and omnipotent or only a man?No, Jesus was made OUR God by default.
No....
Is the Father a Holy Spirit?
Is the Holy Ghost a Holy Spirit?
No, he just has a glorified body.Sure there is.
Start with this appearance of Jesus as a blinding white light....
3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: ...
If you want to see more appearances of Jesus' quickening spirit body, I can post them too.
Jesus is now a spirit of light.
It sounds like he's describing a god that's not really a god. The True God does not become God. He is God. "I AM".So which is it? Is he truly God, eternally existent and omnipotent or only a man?
1 God...and a man....How many God's do you believe in? Do you even know? A man CANNOT be "MADE" the infinite God! You taught the Bible 40 years???
I will stick with the KJV.I hardly think so, myself, so we'll part ways on this one. It surprises me that someone wouldn't want to know how a passage was written in it's original language.
Koine Greek is an amazingly precise language, much more precise than English, due to the way it's put together. However, if you want to stick with a single English translation, I think the KJV is as good as you'll likely get your hands on.
Much love!
Never heard it.What does this mean to you, that Jesus was slain from the foundation of the world?
When did Jesus die? At the beginning of creation? Or about 2000 years ago?
I remember Lambert Dolphin, or maybe it was Ray Steadman, "6 Hours in Eternity", that Jesus' death was an "eternal" event, that there is an eternal moment that Jesus is on the cross, something like that, so that sins now are added to His suffering as we commit them.
Have you heard this teaching?
Much love!
The God you just described is completely housed(encapsulated) inside the man, qualifying the man as God....So which is it? Is he truly God, eternally existent and omnipotent or only a man?
No.No.

Is the Son a Holy Spirit??
No, he just has a glorified body.
As we would say in modern scientific terminology, the glorified body is not subject to the forces and laws of physics and chemistry...All creation is held in existence by God. Obviously, a glorified body has living powers that an unglorified body does not have. Glorified bodies are incorruptible (incapable of decay) and impassible (incapable of suffering).
Jesus can certainly appear in light and still have a body.
