Thank you!He was the foremost Christikan expert on the Cults!
Thank you again, but at this point I could not easily read it. I know what people call cults, but I have never heard about them from God.His big work was titled Kingdom of the Cults!
What is you definition of "the church" please?Mormons and JW have always been seen by the Church at large as being Cults!
@Waiting on him Always a good question to ask. What is you definition of "the church" please?
When two groups teach different things we need to compare what they teach with the Bible to find out who is right. Is it? And what if the TRUTH of what members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints believe does not match "anti-cult" sources (which includes Lynn Wilder)?
If they are wrong and don't care there is no reason to tell them they are condemned.
All of ther redeemed in Lord jesus, all of those saved and in the Body of Christ! What is you definition of "the church" please?
paul and Jude seemed to have the concern to confront heresy head on that was creeping into the Church even of their time! When two groups teach different things we need to compare what they teach with the Bible to find out who is right.
Don't we have a responsibility to warn people if they are in error? If we warn them and they refuse to believe us we will have fulfilled our responsibility and don't need to be concerned about them any more.
That is not achieved Without good information about what is believed. When two groups teach different things we need to compare what they teach with the Bible to find out who is right..
Warning: you “anti-cult” site gives you completely bad info and only drives people away from Christ.Don't we have a responsibility to warn people if they are in error? If we warn them and they refuse to believe us we will have fulfilled our responsibility and don't need to be concerned about them any more.
If it pertains directly to us so that we ourselves can make the right choices in our walk before God, yes. However, with literally thousands of sects/denominations/churches/beliefs that differ so much from each other based on the Bible, can we really compare them all or might it not be a good thing to follow the lead of the Holy Spirit to receive what God has for us?When two groups teach different things we need to compare what they teach with the Bible to find out who is right.
Our responsibility is to God. Don't jump out ahead of Him. Sometimes He will use us to help others, but we should be slow to presume that we are always the bearers of absolute truth and that the other guy definitely had it wrong... even if it seems so to us... while the other guy may effectively be saying the same things about his position.Don't we have a responsibility to warn people if they are in error? If we warn them and they refuse to believe us we will have fulfilled our responsibility and don't need to be concerned about them any more.
Anti cult would be thnose wjose Jesus and Gospel not found in Bible! That is not achieved Without good information about what is believed.

If you want to stay embracing that, that’s your choice.

The way I view it is this, let's say your wrong and JWs and LDS have people seated in Christ, and you or I accusing them otherwise. What would this make me?All of ther redeemed in Lord jesus, all of those saved and in the Body of Christ!
And also see the truth about Methodist doctrine, and Baptist doctrine, and Pentecostal doctrine, and JW doctrine, and Catholic doctrine, and Mennonite doctrine, etc. to the extent that any of them hinders a person on his approach to a clear vision of God and the things of God. Then again, when God sees a heart hungry and thirsty for His righteousness will not that heart be filled no matter where he attends regularly and no matter to which group he belongs... or even if he does not attend and does not belong to any church to the carnal eye?I pray that you will come out of the darkness into God's glorious light and see the truth about LDS doctrine!
Someone budding into God's business? The way I view it is this, let's say your wrong and JWs and LDS have people seated in Christ, and you or I accusing them otherwise. What would this make me?
That's true, and I have said as much in threads about some of the groups that you list in your post. This thread is not about those groups. I appreciate your sentiment here, but it’s also incredibly frustrating as it feels like your praying to have me not believe something I don’t believe in the first place and that the explanations I spend so much time writing are just being ignored. It has been shown on this forum how some Mormon doctrine blatantly contradicts Bible doctrine; therefore, it is anti-biblical. This has been shown from LDS scriptures and other LDS materials, including quotes from the founder of Mormonism, Joseph Smith, as well as from other LDS leaders.
I pray that you will come out of the darkness into God's glorious light and see the truth about LDS doctrine!
I'm surprised and glad to hear that you don't believe Mormon doctrine that is contrary to the Bible. Yay!I appreciate your sentiment here, but it’s also incredibly frustrating as it feels like your praying to have me not believe something I don’t believe in the first place and that the explanations I spend so much time writing are just being ignored.
Nobody believes what's being posted here-- it's that glaringly inaccurate!I'm surprised and glad to hear that you don't believe Mormon doctrine that is contrary to the Bible. Yay!
