Intelligence people have located repeated cases of Putin trying to disrupt elections to help Trump win again. That would explain some things we're seeing here.

My wife and I (along with another couple) had a southern Caribbean cruise planned for the end of March 2020 (that we booked at the end of last year) but thanks to the coronavirus (and the mayhem that we may have to deal with on the trip because of the coronavirus fear factor) we cancelled our vacation.

Why not take a road trip to some part of the country you haven't seen before? Mrs. Yehren and I took off for the Southeast U.S. last year. It was amazing. We loved so many of those little towns, and just were amazed by Charleston and the way it has maintained so much of its history. We just kind of improvised as we went along, from a list of stuff we'd researched that lay along our route. Great fun.

I keep wondering if the coronavirus is really as serious as the media is making it out to be. They make it sound like the next black plague! I've heard certain doctors say that there are strains of flu which are more dangerous than the coronavirus and that the media is blowing the dangers of the coronavirus out of proportion. I also wonder if there is a hidden agenda behind the coronavirus fear factor.

It's a lot more serious than Trump thought it was. Instead of being a "hoax" as Trump said, it's now killing Americans.

They reported mortality rates somewhere between 1 and 3 percent. If you think the bubonic plague was like that, you need to do a little reading up.
The Spanish Flu that went pandemic after WWI had a mortality rate of about 2-3 percent, about 20 to 30 times more virulent than ordinary flu, and a bit higher than the coronavirus so far.

The Trump agenda is to somehow spin the facts to keep people from avoiding large gatherings and such. That's going to hurt the economy. But he has no one but himself to blame; he cut budgets for agencies that are tasked with controlling these outbreaks, and delayed action too long, trying to deal with it as a P.R. problem.
Now it's not "contained" as his spokesmen were insisting, but it's out there killing. It's hard to say how many; I'd be surprised if tens of thousands of people died in the United States, but the fact is, we really don't know. All we can say, is delaying action is going to increase the number of people who die.

My two cents, I find it odd how Lysol wipes are supposed to kill the virus, yet they allegedly have no vaccine for it. Maybe its just me, but that makes no sense, doesn't add up at all. It makes me suspicious actually. Either they are hyping up the virus to make it seem more dangerous than it really is for some reason, or they are trying to downplay just how dangerous it truly is because this is in fact a weaponized version of the virus they set loose that they have no vaccine for, either by mistake or not. If its the latter, then Lysol wipes won't do a damn thing, and I tend to not believe in "mistakes" of this magnitude.
