My Name is Darren, I came here because I am a disabled Christian, I am unable to leave my home because of panic attacks that make being in public unbearable.

I was on another Christian forum for years until I was banned this morning. This one, Christian Forums

Before I tell you my story, And Why I was banned, I am not looking for a soft pillow to cry on, Things happen. Websites have rules and people get banned. But, I do need Christian brother and sisters, If I am denied fellowship then I am all the worse off. I was raised in the Church Of Christ, Some people mistakenly believe this to be the Church of latter day saints. No, This is a smaller Country southern belief system that is based solely on what the King James Bible says. We are not Mormon, We are Kind of like Baptists, is the closest I can think of to what we are.


So, I was raised to believe, That God Was the Creator of the universe, The heavens, and the Earth, I was raised to believe, That Man, Had Original sin, That we are all guilty of and because of that, The price of Sin is Death. So, God Took Pity on us, And Send His Only Begotten Son To Die to pay the price of Sin for us, So that we may attain salvation. This is what I was raised to believe. So on those other forums, A man comes in, And he knowingly asked me this specific Question, "So You believe Jesus Was Created?" And to that I said, God Created Everything, So YES, I asserted, that the Very Word Begotten, Meant that He was Created, He was Gods Literal Son.

Next thing you know, I am Banned from there. So I wrote to them And asked Why I was banned, I got horrible Cold Responses from the Staff there, Of Which I have Pictures and can Show here if need be. I was Accused of Not being Christian And Told that I could be unbanned and Come back, If I would Change my subtitle to Seeker, I said But, I am Not A seeker, I Fully Believe Jesus Died for my sins. And then he told me,

So, I have been Called Not A Christin, And banned, Because I wouldn't call myself not a Christian, For the sake that those Guys believe I must fully agree with their Trinity Views.
The Beleive That Jesus is and always has been, And at no point was Jesus ever Created and That Jesus Also IS God and Created the universe.


If I am wrong, Then Plunge the dagger deeply into me. Because I have received no love for friendship there. And I can not seem to find it unless I sell my soul, Which I will not do.
If I am to be denied all fellowship and all friendship, Then I will at least have done it honestly. I believe Worship is For the almighty only. I believe Jesus Worshiped God, And That we are to worship God, In The name of Jesus, But, I Do not believe Jesus and God are the same individuals. I know what the Trinity is, And what it means, But there wouldn't be so much confusion over it if people didn't try to play dragon ball Z and try to fuse God into one being, He is Three separate beings, And that is why it is called the Trinity. And not a Unity.


I don't know, All I know right now, Is finding people that really care and understand, it's getting harder and harder to do.

Isn't believing that Jesus Is the Son Of God that Came to us, To pay the price of sin for us, Isn't that what's important? I feel like I was unfairly treated at this other forum. And still, even If I'm mistaken, Is Believing that Jesus always was since the beginning of time, A certainty that Jesus is Also the Creator? I mean they are distinguished from one another. Father-Son.

Does one necessarily have to invest in the Idea that Jesus was there at the beginning of creation to be saved? I always thought that Jesus was created when God sent his spirit unto Mary, Why Is it important for my Salvation That I put Jesus at the same Level As God and call him a Creator and worship Jesus Directly?

Jesus never Taught Us to worship him, He Taught us to worship the Father. So can anyone see my confusion?

But, I Do not believe Jesus and God are the same individuals.

No one will plunge a dagger into you for this mistaken belief. But all Christian beliefs must be solidly grounded in Scripture, and the Bible clearly declares that Jesus is God. He is not the Father, nor the Holy Spirit. But He is within the Godhead.

Just to clarify the meaning of "the only begotten Son of God". That is not the same as a human begetting, but it speaks of an eternal Father-Son relationship within the Godhead. Christ is the eternal Son of God, and at the same time He is the " I AM". Study Exodus 3.

Well I can grasp it even from where I sit. That Site also banned me a couple of years ago. There was a very rude person, my age or even older, that thought his mission on the Forum was the watchman, to to drive out the heretics by harassment in his tone and posts. He really did not know scripture that well, as he constantly stubbed his toes when I responded in kind with scripture. I guess his pride and not getting anywhere with me made him whine the more and press the 'ban the heretic' button to the administrators. I remember he kept writing in his posts that the public is reading my posts as if they were embarrassing to him and his doctrine of the main-stream. I was an embarrassment to the entire Site.

Preach on, if you will, open some new threads...as I see it, there are mainstream folks, fringe-line folks and those 'please like me' folks on this site.... all good ..

Darren, the orthodox position concerning Christ is that no created being can abide in another created being. As such Jesus is a life giving Spirit. Divine as God is since they are a part of each other. But as we abide in Him we are given the grace of His humanity so we can walk as He walked. So we take on His divine nature just as we walk in His empowered humanity by faith.

So there are 2 things going on simultaneously...a double edged sword so to speak. A lot to track! :)

In my mind, There was the Father the son and the Holy Ghost, And that was the Trinity and they all agree and rule together, Like three Kings would, But, I get confused, Because, There is the Whole, Jesus is the son, And not the Holy Ghost or the Father, And the Holy Ghost was t comforter, And The Father God was the creator. I fully admit, When God Says, "Let Us Make" Sure, He could have been speaking to Jesus and the Holy Ghost, But the King James Bible does not specify that empirically, He could have been speaking to angels or his cherubs at that time.

But, Yes, I fully will Accept if I'm wrong. It's not an Ego thing or a pride thing, It's an I don't understand thing.

Hello Shadowprophet....stick around. There are lots of varied perspectives here....some abysmal, some sharp. When we are going one direction and God wants that we go in an opposite direction he brings us around slowly if our hearts seek truth. He doesn't flip us from total error to total truth overnight. You know the old saying 'you can't turn the Queen Mary around on a dime? If our pride and self sufficiency don't get in the way God will do his work in our understanding and our lives. We are in need of patience with both ourselves and others.

It's good to have an open attitude as you do. We all just want to be pleasing to God and as such we need to remain humble and teachable. It's good to let the Holy Spirit do His work in us as we listen prayerfully and are flexible to His word.

"In the beginning was the Word."
Colossians 1:16 “For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.”
Revelation 1:8
“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”
So yeah, my belief is that Jesus always was with the Father, before "time" began.

PS- I also believe that Jesus Christ WAS God. Otherwise how could His sacrifice be perfect, to take away all sins of men. If He were just a man, it would never have worked.

Probably some of the people who might stand against you on this forum for your beliefs or your confusion also cannot grasp fully what they say they believe. In any case, are we not to live by faith rather than by knowledge?

Yes, the Creator came down among His creation in order to restore us back to the image of God in our deepest being.

And see how Satan has skewed the minds of some who keep moving further and further from the image of God and more toward the image of Satan. This is my observations and opinions only :)

I too have struggled with the idea that Jesus Christ is God, I have always believed him to be the son of God and the Holy Spirit thing has at times confused me.
I do believe Jesus has always been with God the father and that the Holy Spirit is what we get from both.

I was raised Catholic and in believing in the Holy Trinity, which I do.

This is my first time on a Christian forum, I came here to learn and to be amongst my brethren and help and relief from things going on in my personal life.

I believe in God the father, Jesus Christ the son our Savior and the Holy Spirit which is what we get from believing in both.

That is why the Christian life is so wonderful...the hunger and thirst is never satisfied, there is always more. God drops daily 'bread crumbs' ( manna) for us..and we follow after Him.
