Please read my post again. What I had highlighted is that GH said that child abuse would be maintained, i.e. that it will continue, while BOL said that he hope it would continue.

Here is my post again: -

BOL before you fire up please carefully read what has been posted above and then consider how carefully you had chosen your words in response.

Perhaps the wheels have come off of your bandwagon and you need to make amends.

Shalom
If you were honest - you would see that I put parentheses around the word "maintained".
GE was trying to say "controlled" and simply used the wrong word.

YOU came along and dishonestly blew it out of context.

You deny that:
  • catholicism rejects 6,000 yr Creation chronology and prefers the millions of years evolution chronology
  • catholicism insists Sunday sacredness is by authority of it and NOT by authority of Scripture
  • salvation can't be obtained by anyone who denies the authority and intercessory of the papacy
I've just named three.
ALL THREE of these points are dead-wrong.

The Catholic Church DOESN'T teach evolution of humanity.
Strike ONE

Sunday worship IS taught in the Bible (Acts 20:7, 1 Cor. 16:2, Rev. 1:10).
Strike TWO

The Catholic Church DOESN'T teach that anybody who denies the authority and intercession of the Pope
Strike THREE - you're OUT.

You REALLY need to do some homework if you want to be a good little anti-Catholic instead of an ignorant one . . .

You see "wisdom" in the idea that Mary was "preserved from all stain of original sin"?

Do you not understand that this is the very foundation of the whole idea of the need for the intercession of Mary? That since Mary had "different" flesh than the rest of us, that means JESUS ALSO HAD DIFFERENT FLESH THAN THE REST OF US...which means we in our fallen, stinking flesh CANNOT APPROACH JESUS DIRECTLY, but must do so by her intercession. It's called the doctrine of the "Immaculate Conception of Mary".

Everyone praises "Mother Teresa" as the most Godly individual in the universe - know what she once said?

"No Mary, no Jesus."

No Christian can find peace, wisdom, or joy in that which directly contradicts the Bible. Dead Bread is a con artist who misrepresents/denies various blasphemous teachings of catholicism in order to make the papacy appear innocuous, like the lion who after failing to bring down his prey will once again try to appear harmless while plotting with feline devilment his next attack.
Then, provide us with ONE instance of where I have "misrepresented" or "denied" Catholic teaching.

If you can do that - I will LEAVE this forum today and never bother you again.
If you CAN'T, however - then YOU lerave this forum.

DEAL??

PS - By the way - we ask intercession from NOT only Mary, but from ALL the saints in Heaven - and from each other as well - so you LIED again . . .

Very serious to be completely devoured by a religion. I honestly feel for this tormented man. He rages and rages in every post with never a shred of heart appeal.

Like a big viscious dog standing guard over the bone of Roman Catholicism. Every scripture was apparently written for affirmation of the church in Rome.

My sin has been in not praying more for him and his deliverance. I will try to correct that. All tormented people are not the same. Many sit in church houses awaiting deliverance.

James 1:26 KJVS
If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
Nahhhh - just a watchdog.

You guys are used to spreading lies in your sects about the Catholic Church - and that's okay.
HOWEVER - you won't get away with it on MY watch - and that enrages you . . .

Actually, I had heard most of the stuff you insist on selling, since I grew up around Catholics. But, it has been more than enlightening to hear the truth of all the things non-Catholics have brought to light. Things I never realized went on in that "denomination."

Until the last few years I never thought much about denominations never having been part of one thank God!

But He STRONGLY showed me that men indeed worship the works of their hands and minds, the denominations that they NOT HE have created.

Romans 1:25 KJVS
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Not just catholic but every denomination. Every single one. What would the Wesley brothers say about the church they formed?

Traditions, doctrines, anti biblical teachings are rife in these gatherings. Like one brother said, the devils are swimming and diving like porpoises in many congregations.

There is no difference between the traditions that Jesus fought than those of now. They're just more widespread.

Ecclesiastes 1:9 KJVS
The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

Whether a superstitious idiot hewing his god out of a log and cooking supper on a fire from the splinters or educated idiots forming a denomination or sect from a few scriptures, they worship their creation more than him and can't see how they've stumbled.

The skinny cows of Genesis 41 = ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

True God given revival is our quest.

Sadly what came across to me was the completely opposite understanding that you were hoping that the abuse would continue.

People often reveal their true motives when they become angry with others.

Dead Bread, denying the official position of catholicism on these three points doesn't make you believable, it makes you a deceiver on the order of Jesuitical levels.

Uhhhhhh, the Jesuits are a priestly order - NOT a "level" of Catholicism, Einstein.
Besides - the Catholic church doesn't teach ANY of the lies you posted . . .

"Jesuitical"??

And your dishonest assessment of anybody "hoping" child abuse continues just reveals the depths some will sink to in order to proliferate anti-Catholic hatred.
Pathetic desperation . . .

I have catholic relatives on my wife's side of our family. Some of them traveled to Rome to pay homage to some statue!

I feel for and pray for them. My BIL remarked that God would never help you with some financial need! I can never have fellowship with them at all for that spirit of supposed religious superiority permeates the atmosphere. Just sad.

Another of them said you would ask a great man's mother to ask a favor of him rather than go to him directly. That is you ask Mary to ask God! This replaces Jesus as the one mediator between man and God.

1 Timothy 2:5 KJVS
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

As to so called protestant errors we have a nephew who is a Church of Christ convert and baptism is his only concern.

Every denominationalist I've seen on versed with spout the same denomination dogma.

A FEW OF THEM ARE..

When that which is perfect is come... They say it's the Bible.

The gifts of and baptism of the Holy Spirit ended with the death of the last disciple/apostle.

Tongues are of the devil.

I am deceived because I believe that God still does the things he did in "Bible days" as if these also are not Bible days!

When I speak with many about God's things they are swift to tell me they are Baptist, Catholic or whatever rather than they are Christians, followers, of Christ.

Daniel Eichenbaum, who was an orthodox Jew, asked me what denomination I was. God had sent me to him to witness though he was a stranger to me. I told him I was a Christian and that Jesus had come and saved me outside any church or denomination's walls. Daniel later became a born again Christian!

Every denomination has a few pet scriptures and traditions that they set up and thus supercede the word of God. They can never see the forest because of the thickness of the trees.

THANK YOU for that perfect example of perpetually-splintering denominationalism.
EVERY man interpreting Scripture for himself - and ALL of you claiming you were "led" by the Holy Spirit . . .

2 Pet. 1:20
But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation.

Sounds like your wife's family is filled with ignorant, un-catechized Catholics.

Why have you no God love in you for any?
It seems you feel superior even to other Catholics.

1Jonn 2:27 tells me I don't have to have a priest or man to instruct me.

What good do you have in your heart? I wonder and am sad for you! Not angry nor thinking anyone could tell you anything at all.

Without shouting at others what has God said to you?

Henceforth my only question for you is, what has God spoken to your heart? What is he speaking now?
