No - HISTORY, period. you're ignorant of History.
And, if it is of "no interest" to you - then WHY ask me about it, my ignorant, hypocritical friend??

Good grief man, I simply asked you what language is spoken at your church.

And you go off on some irrevant psychobabble instead of answering a simple question. Hardly was asking about your church history and all the nonsense.

What does this verse have to do with the fact that I am a Catholic of the Latin Rite??
Posting obscure and irrelevant Scripture references only serves to show your Scriptural ignorance.

Stick to the topic . . .

"How's your faith these days, Father?"

Luke 18:40-43 Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, 41“What do you want me to do for you?” “Lord, I want to see,” he replied. 42Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.” 43Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God.

Eph 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works, so that no one can boast.

1 Pet 1:3-5 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, 5who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

This is what YOU said:

I did not say what you said, about scripture being wrong.

So, you heard from the Lord, that's what it amounts too.

Well uh of course. Don't you?
1 John 1:3
John 14:16
John 14:17
John 14:18
John 14:26
Col 2:2
2 Tim 2:7
1 John 5:20

What do you believe?? When the Master teacher Jesus Christ bodily left the earth, He stopped teaching? Giving wisdom? Giving knowledge and understanding?

We just talked about Paul being in Arabia, being taught By the Spirit.
Gal 1:16

That's why I gave him a choice - but he readily admitted that he was NOT about to have a grown-up conversation.
No "trickery" here . . .

Let's see if you can be an adult and not again duck out. You have a choice of a simple yes, or no answer.
Let's see how well you follow directions.

1 John 3:9
No one who is begotten by God commits sin,
Because God's seed remains in him.
He cannot sin because he is begotten by God.

Question:
Do you believe this Scripture is True.

Answer Choices:
Yes
No

All scripture is true, so the answer is YES, but it might not mean what you think it means.

Jesus was manifested in the world, and on the cross.... that He might destroy the works of the devil.
And bring men into a new birth in God so that sin no longer has dominion over them.
This is the power of Jesus cutting the New Covenant, to free us from sin and from making it a way of life, instead to live as Sons of God, following in Jesus's steps as our life, AND our WAY of life.

Great verses - but NOT sure why you sent them to me as a response because they have NOTHING to do with your past post.
Stick to the conversation at hand - or start a NEW thread . . .

Yup - IF you understand the context.
Context has been your problem all along.

Scripture cannot contradict itself, so in order for this verse to be true in ALL cases - you would have to delete the following verses of Scripture from your Bible which were ALL written to born again CHRISTIANS:

Matt. 5:13

You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its taste, with what can it be seasoned? It is no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

Romans 11:22
“See, then, the kindness and severity of God: severity toward those who fell, but God's kindness to you, provided you REMAIN in his kindness; otherwise you to will be cut off.”

James 5:16

Therefore CONFESS YOUR SINS to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.

2 Peter 3:17

Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position.

1 John 2:24
See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. IF it does, you also will REMAIN in the Son and in the Father.

Rev. 3:5
He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels.

Rev. 22:19
And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
