Translation: "I don't know HOW to have a grown-up conversation."

Translation - BOL is not content with a mans own word, so he makes up words and attempts to stuff them in another mans mouth!

Old, boring, deceitful trickery, juvenile.

A speaker ~
Speaking TO ~ "your"
You have decided ARE Christians.
They were hearing the Word of God.
They were NOT saved.
They were being taught to confess sins.
Acknowledging they have sin.
Practicing confessing one to another.
Becoming PREPARED to confess to the Lord.
SO THAT, THEY MAY BE HEALED....ie savED.
You don't know the difference between an unsaved follower and a saved follower..
They were NOT savED.
I was speaking of BORN AGAIN MEN.
This scripture has NO APPLICABILITY to saved and born again men.
Of course these men COULD SIN...they were NOT SAVED!

WRONG
.

They were being told to go to their PRESBYTERS to pray over their sick.
Presbyters were CHURCH leaders.

STRIKE ONE . . .
Here again. I was speaking of born again men..
And you grab another Scripture that has absolutely nothing to do with born again men!

This scripture is speaking about men WHO CLAIM to HAVE NO SIN.

With a ity bit of common knowledge;
A man who claims to have no sin;
Can not confess to the Lord of having sin!

I was speaking of born again men.
A born again man HAS CONFESSED His sin. Duh!!

WRONG again.

John doesn't say if YOU claim to be without sin - he says if WE claim . . . This includes John, upon whom the Holy Spirit descended on Pentecost.

STRIKE TWO . . .
Paul - the SAVED and BORN AGAIN ~ "Teacher" is speaking to men, using himself as an example, calling himself the WORST SINNER.
His teaching IS not ABOUT him BEING AN ACTIVE committer of SIN, BUT, as I see you missed the understanding.
Even people who have committed the WORST SINS, can be forgiven, cleansed, healed, and Born of God, LIKE PAUL WAS.

WRONG again.

Paul didn't say I WAS the worst sinner. He said I AM the worst sinner.

STRIKE THREE - and we're not even don yet . . .
1 John 3:9
Precisely applies to a man Born of Gods UNCORRUPTABLE Seed. Who CAN NOT SIN.
And CAN NOT SIN Precisely BECAUSE the Seed of God, the Truth, thee Spirit of Christ, REMAINS in the man.
Does apply to me.
And apparently DOES NOT APPLY TO YOU, since you can NOT EVEN TRUST the Lords Word IS TRUE.
I quote 1 John 3:9. I say it applies to me.
I said what it says......
AND YOUR response is...YOU MAKE a FALSE accusation TO me FOR me, claiming I do not agree with Scripture.
You have made NUMEROUS FALSE ACCUSATIONS...
You have NOT ONCE...quoted ANYONE speaking their own words...of THEM CLAIMING...
"They have no sin"...
"They are not a sinner"....
You are a FABRICATOR of False accusations.
You Claim YOU ARE BORN AGAIN, without having made your own calling to the Lord.
You Claim YOU are savED, but not really, because you are in the PROCESS of being savED.
You Claim YOU are a "Teacher" and "defender" of the Catholic Church.
Dude....No one is here to be TAUGHT Catholic "WAYS"...and Catholic twisted understanding;
Kind of saved, but not really...
Born of God, because mommy did it for you..
Born of Gods UNcorruptable Seed, and still sins.
Nor is your constant negativity touching.
Leave the nest, Go Learn the Truth, Then Learn to TRUST the Truth, Then decide if you want to commit to the Truth as a man does, and receive the gift of Salvation and the Seed of God........or not.
Or remain as you are, and go spread your psychobabble among other cradle Catholics.

And this is precisely why Peter said that the ignorant and unstable (YOU) would twist the Scriptures to your own destruction (2 Pet. 3:16)

1 John 3:9 isn't about being UNABLE to sin.
It is about not being a HABITUAL sinner. Those who are born again STRIVE not to sin.

As Paul and John openly Admit - even THEY fell short . . .

What is that supposed to mean?
Usually mass is not in Latin, but for certain occasions it is in Latin?
It means exactly how it sounds.
The vernacular is the ordinary form, Latin is the EXTRAordinary form.

Old, boring, deceitful trickery, juvenile.
That's why I gave him a choice - but he readily admitted that he was NOT about to have a grown-up conversation.
No "trickery" here . . .

Your premise is incorrect. Paul doesn’t say he stayed in Arabia 3 years.

Look more closely at his wording in Gal.1:17-18: “…but I went to Arabia, and returned again to Damascus. THEN after three years I went up to Jerusalem…”
The 3 years was after he’d returned to Jerusalem.

Nobody has any idea how long he was in Arabia.

Through study and fellowship with the Lord...
I am comfortable saying 3 years.

Historically many men are called to come HEAR and LEARN About God.

Paul was no different. He was called.

Oh, and he was called while he was on his way, with papers of authority in hand, to search out men in Damascus who were following Christ, to persecute them.

I guess you could wonder, if Paul was so special to receive INSTANT knowledge and wisdom and understanding about Christ...
Why didn't it just happen right then on the road? Why were all the other disciples taught about Jesus? Why does anyone first hear, and learn and mull over the knowledge BEFORE making a commitment to something they don't KNOW ABOUT?

Paul went to Arabia, to be alone, WITH the Lord in Spirit, learning from the Lord Himself.

Was he there exactly 1,095 days...who knows, what does it matter? What matters is there is nothing new under the sun.
Men hear, learn, taken in the knowledge bit, by bit, mull it over, think and decide to commit to Christ, or not.

Paul was not being told, to just hear and believe....Paul was being groomed to BE an Apostle. A high honor, and not one that requires a little knowledge.

And Yes, Paul did go to Damascus...but not with papers in hand to seek out and persecute follower of Christ. He went as a follower and believer and testified of Christ.

If 3 years is not to your agreement, no problem to me.

I believe Paul spent a considerable amount of time, just as the diciples did, learning from Christ....in their preparation to be sent out to teach and preach and testify of Christ.

God Bless,

LOL...not everyone is steeped in Catholic psychobabble and curt "rules".

No problem, no cares. Mass in Latin...funny.
Why not Chinese, considering very few understand Latin.

THANK YOU for exposing your complete ignorance of history.

Latin was the lingua franca at the time it was adopted as the official language of the Church.
After the 2nd Vatican council, the ordinary form of the Mass was celebrated in the vernacular. Latin was move to the extraordinary form.

There ends your history lesson for the day . . .

Why not then believe what EVERYBODY discerns about Scripture??

WRONG.

They were being told to go to their PRESBYTERS to pray over their sick.
Presbyters were CHURCH leaders.

STRIKE ONE . . .

You are completely unaware, the teachers were saved and born again........speaking to a crowd, of some saved, some first hearing, some believing, some not yet deciding what they believe....

And every time....YOU, define them ALL as saved and ALL committing sin!

LOL. Whoo hoo for your wrong again and strike... irrelevant!

again.

John doesn't say if YOU claim to be without sin - he says if WE claim . . . This includes John, upon whom the Holy Spirit descended on Pentecost.

STRIKE TWO . . .

LOL...Well...hum..grow a brain? Is that possible?

Everyone is born in sin....WHO IS NOT A SINNER? Ding, ding, ding...LOL

YOU however are too ignorant to comprehend...the difference between a FORGIVEN AND COVERED SINNER who no LONGER COMMITS SIN...and an unforgiven man who COMMITS SIN!

Your teaching is EVERYONE the Apostles were teaching....Were ALL SAVED Christians and ALL committing SIN...

LOL...whoo hoo for your wrong and strike..
Irrelevant!

again.

Paul didn't say I WAS the worst sinner. He said I AM the worst sinner.

STRIKE THREE -

TODDLER VERSON...
Paul was a human. All humans are born in sin. All humans are sinners.
Paul was forgiven his sins, but he is still a sinner, because all humans are sinners.
When Paul was forgiven his sins. His sins did not POOF disappear, the Lords Spirit came inside of Paul and covered his sins.
And the Lords Spirit stayed inside of Paul, so he could sin NO MORE.
Then Paul went out to teach other men about the Lord.
Paul told other men That before he was forgiven his sins, he committed some really bad and terrible sins.
Paul not only did not believe in the Lord.
Paul put in jail, killed, and was really really mean to other men that believe in the Lord.
Paul used himself as an example, when teaching other men, that no matter how really bad your sins are, the Lord will forgive you and give you his great gifts and forever Life with the Lord forever.

LOL...your wrong and strike are irrelevant.

You havent' a clue how to comprehend to divide the word of truth.

Whoo hoo...every crowd listening to the Apostles...were Christians, became Baptized and continued committing sin...and apparently kept trying, like you to become saved....by your teaching.

LOL...absurd!

and we're not even don yet . . .

Uh Ya we are.

You want to remain ignorant, not knowing the difference between a man committing to the Law and a man committing to CHRIST and the gifts given to a man IN CHRIST...

THAT's you.

You want to remain ignorant calling every Jew in Scripture a Christian, then calling yourself a Christian, and pretending you are subject to Jewish law, and the curse sin laws of the Jewish religion...

That's you.

No wonder you do not KNOW how to divide the word of truth, or know who is who in Scripture, you speak FOR them just like to try to do everyone else.

UNREAL . . .

Of course it is unreal to you.

I don't presume you went and read of Paul's conversion, of going and being with the Lord in Spirit in Arabia, and then going to Damascus, then on to Jerusalem.
Neither do I presume you went and spirit to Spirit asked the Lord to give you understanding of Scriptures.

What I do presume, is without going to the text and reading and studying about Paul's experience, and without conferring with the Lord.....

You saw my post and gave me your carnal lip service....like always...and like always, your carnal lip service is irrelevant!

I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me.

Blunder #1:
James told his readers to go to their PRESBYTERS (James 5:15). This means that these were baptized Christians.
He told those Baptized, Born again Christians to CONFESS THEIR SINS (James 5:16).

Blunder #2:
Paul tells us that he is the CHIEF of sinners. Of course he is using hyperbole because we should ALL follow his example. HOWEVER, he states that he STILL struggles with sinning:
Rom. 7:15-20

I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

If by "carnal" you mean Scripturally sound evidence that obliterates your position - I agree . . .
