I gave you the Early Church teaching on HOW to baptize.
I told you that I was born again AT Baptism.

If you want to know if I remember when I was baptized - I don't as I was only about a month old.

Just as Jewish boys were brought to circumcision by the faith of their parents

- I was brought to Baptism by the faith of MY parents.

This has been the way that Christians have been doing it from the beginning . . .

But according to some Christians, your ability to use the brain God gave you to think and reason for yourself means nothing. Its all about the spirit, the "flesh profits nothing", they often love to quote.

Try reason God, try really hard, He wont fit into mens reasoning. That why HE gave us His Spirit, denied by so many, that wonderful Gift, His seed, which without we are not His that is His mark on us., so that He could help us make sense of it all, but men are proud and arrogant, love to prove how clever and smart they are, are not "wiling" to go to God as empty vessels or to be emptied so that He can fill them.

It is just how it is, it is our choice follow Him or do out own thing.

So since God gives us the spirit of truth to make sense of his words, then does that not make God reasonable?? And, if I were given this "spirit", would I still be able to "make sense of it all" if I didn't have a brain that works properly?

:) Ha!!! You should know what I'm on about since you were the one that opened that can of worms to start with. You stated that God wouldn't send children to hell who can't think for themselves. Why? I thought that piece of muscle in your skull profits nothing since it is flesh. Its all about the spirit is it not? This is what everyone keeps quoting afterall. So what difference would it make if a child can actually put two numbers together and come to a senseable conclusion? I don't smoke, this is just food for thought.
