This defense can be found in virtually every catholic thread. This and the Ark of the Covenant. They use these 2 events to justify their statues of Jesus and Mary.n

That's NOT what MY Bible says (John 13:34, 1 Cor. 12, 1 Thess. 5:25, James 5:16).

The bottom line is that God honored Mary more that ANY of us could possibly honor her and proclaimed her Kecharitomene (Luke 1:28) - which is a title that no other human being has ever been given. The fact that Jesus was born of Kecharitomene PROVES that we honor Jesus through His mother.

This does NOT mean that we can't honor Jesus apart from His mother.
It merely shows what GOD set up - not us.
