Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

Why does the bibles need defending in the first place? Where in any of the bibles does anyone say that the bibles needs defending?

I don't recall that instruction or command.

I can’t find anywhere in the Bible, that calls us to defend it...can you?

We can and do, also speak under the influence of the Spirit...he speaks through us as our spirit is Born Again...we have direct communication with God, via his witness the Living Spirit who indwells our spirit/ heart.

Why else must we be Born Again to see the Kingdom Of God?

Not just for that...we have also been set free from sin ,eternal damnation and Gods wrath the moment our spirit became Born Again.

We have been reconciled back to God when Spirit gives birth to spirit...he uses us all according to his purpose and plan and will...it can’t be stopped...

We Glorify the Living God..not the Bible...

From within our hearts, where the Spirit indwells...is where we confess that God is a Living Spirit.....that is where we truly know God, Jesus, Holy Spirit....the Bible confirms this.

It’s not there..it’s man made...to try and feed fear into people...it can’t work on those who truly know God/ Jesus in their spirit/ heart.

Remember the enemy can still speak through us....but, as we mature in Christ...we become tuned in to his scheming ways....he will have us arguing in the spilt of a second , if we aren’t alert...

What a joy to be a part of such a wonderful family hey, with Jesus as our Elderst Brother, to share the same Father.

They haven't left us as orphans but have given us the rights as children of God, to bear the Divine Family name.

And to know and experience the fantastic gift of Their Spirit Who influence us day after day Who transforms into the Family likeness.

Within the bibles God's expressed thoughts are documented. Agreed. But obviously not all. I think everyone would agree with that.

Is God free to choose to reveal or express any of His thoughts to mankind? More than is found in the bibles?

I guess some people have foolishly thought and taught that the bibles contain all of God's truths, all of His thoughts, all of His words. That all that God revealed to humans and has been written down has been gathered and is found in the 88 books of the bible (the most extensive bible).

What a lie that is and needs to be exposed along with many other untruths.

What doesn't the Bible tell us about God that we need to know? Nothing! It tells us all we need to know to enter the Kingdom of God.

Thankfully the Spirit of Truth has been doing this over the past 2000 years or so.

The Spirit of Truth wouldn't lead you away from the Bible! That would be a different spirit.

And which bible is that? The original KJV with its 80 books? It's shortened version of 66 books. Or the 73 book Catholic bible. Or the Ethiopian bible with its 88 books?

Which of these bibles are you defending? Which one in particular Jack? Maybe all of them?

I constantly compare English translations. Haven't found one yet that doesn't confirm Jesus/God and the EVERLASTING fire! They are amazingly consistent.

Paul wrote theses words, For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

You aren't adding the word, 'written' to his word are you?

Again, I lived in my biblical canon box for decades but when the Spirit revealed truth beyond this box, I now know from experience that there is so much more of my God to know and experience outside these man-made parameters. 88 books are an extremly limited source of Truth about our Creators.
