Jer 6:14 “They have healed the brokenness of My people superficially,
Saying, ‘Peace, peace,'
But there is no peace.
I personally have really like what President Trump, I have to admire what he has accomplish. Putting our embassy in Jerusalem, was incredibly good and I think the importance of the move was understated. More incredible were the Abraham peace accords. Of course, the timing of the Hamas attack a week prior kept one of them from going into effect, which is if no surprise. Yet I believe the reason that all this is of no surprise is not what most people think!!
We do not battle with flesh and blood but powers and principalities, and the dark spiritual forces of this world. That is to say that it does not matter if Trump is successful, because ultimately, he won't be. Ultimately God will be successful - not Trump. That does not mean we don't want Trump to be successful, or that we don't want Trump to be as successful as he can. We need to want peace. And so if Trump is working towards peace, that is a good thing!!! Yet Trump is not going to get rid of the demons - those powers, principalities, and dark spiritual forces. Even if the USA used all it fleshy power to its full extinct, it is not going to change the powers, principalities, and dark spiritual forces. So my prayer about this is for our leaders, that God would give them wisdom, understanding, and knowledge, to do the job they need to do.
And I like the fact that saying God is no longer considered a bad word in the USA. I am thrilled as a Christian, that Kamala Harris, who told those who stated 'Jesus Christ is Lord' at her rally that they were in the wrong place. And it is not that I think President Trump is some great Christian, but I understand that the devil does not like the Jews, that the devil did not want the US embassy in Jerusalem, that the devil would not have like the Abraham peace accords, and that the devil would want trouble continuing in Gaza. In the Bible we see that God gave that area of land to the Israelites and seem to have made promises about bring them back to the land He promised them. So from what I see happening, it seems clear that God, the God of the Bible, the King of Kings and Lord or Lords, is using President Trump, at least in many of the things that if gone right in the middle east.
The point is: This last year I was at several Christian churches, that were praying from Trump, and we saw him become President. New we need to keep praying for him and we don't want to be negative about what he does, but take all things to the Lord, our Lord Jesus Christ, in prayer. Which is to say that concerning 'Trump, Gaza, and peace in the middle east' - we have to keep praying and trusting in the Lord and not get negative, but be thankful that God seems to be doing a work.
