Or,it was a mechanic who serviced the plane prior to takeoff.With RR engines being all they're hyped to be, you'd think they would insure their tracking chip,system,could not be disabled.

Something is really wrong when RR reportedly refused to cooperate with investigators later.

It is a highly congested air traffic area, in fact the worst in the world. There is nothing that could be routine, it had to have maximum capabilities to fly in a highly congested air space.

Watching a vid by a pilot with audio, radar and visual record. The military helicopter seems to be at fault.

They repeatedly requested ‘visual separation’ which means they take responsibility from there.

The pilot believes when the helicopter reported they have visual in the CJ aircraft, they actually had in sight the CJ behind the one they hit.

I heard on our news this afternoon that the control tower was short on staff. Also, that only one person was handling both the plane and the helicopter. They said usually each aircraft would be handled by separate people.

Yes I saw that last night but it also says that it was sometimes done by one person ( handling both plane and helicopter ) . Being short staffed is not the same as being unintelligent or mentally disabled.
It also hasn‘t been confirmed that the human error or problem was in the control tower. It doesn’t negate what I said, and I might add it was my opinion yesterday , which I stand by.

I’ve just heard live, that they had a few misses of aeroplanes nearly crashing with each other last year on this very busy runway...apparently over 800 aircraft take off from that runway every day...can you believe that..Wow!!

What a tragedy, my heart goes out to not only those that have lost their lives, also the family who have to pick up the pieces...absolute tragedy....

I think there is different info being released , as I posted yesterday they were claiming it was at 300 ft but should have been no higher than 200ft
I believe they have found both black Boxes from the plane now - so that may help give more understanding. No black box on the helicopter though , so not sure it will give he complete picture.

Then that one person would have known the paths of both aircraft. This still makes no sense. Idk why anyone believes the news.

<sigh> Let's start with what does make sense from the available facts and go from there, making logical inferences ( --> ) along the way.

1. There was a mid air collision --> someone made a mistake that cost the lives of all on board.
2. The FAA led the federal government in DEI hires --> which means, by definition, they subordinated merit to political considerations, i.e., demographics, legal discrimination.
3. The FAA head quit the day of the inauguration --> furthering a lack of effective leadership.
4. There were recent near misses and planes that had to abort their landing --> the incompetence is not a one off.
5. The Air Traffic Controllers (ATC) were short staffed at the time of the mid air collision --> increases chance of mistakes.
6. Open lines of communication --> no indication from the helicopter that they ever saw the plane they collided with or had any mechanical problems.
7. Recordings of the ATC were vague as to which plane was near the helicopter and did not provide vector headings, e.g., at your 11 o'clock at altitude X.
   • --> Due to being short staffed or incompetent, they did not provide actionable intel WHEN needed.
8. The helicopter was flying at a height that was not per regulations
   • --> One wonders how many other regulations were violated, e.g., one ATC per aircraft landing or taking off?

Keep in mind the fact finding has just begun. I'm not sure what does not make sense to you but I trust the above list helps. Often times in a crisis, there is confusion and the available information is not confirmed.
