There is no question about the nature of those things. I don't see anyone here advocating consulting spirits or "angels" or focusing on things their flesh wants to bring them to pass apart from God. God simply instructs is to"ask and ye shall receive" .... "you have not because you ask not ...you ask amiss that you may consume it upon your lusts."

Not anymore, I wouldn't. Christians who missed the whole portion of the Bible about not doing witchcraft were more than likely misinterpreting the Bible because they used to cast lots.

Now I think that was more like flipping a coin, but I don't have a real answer. I just backed off completely.

I'm being honest with you guys because we're in a time of rebellion, and people who are coming out of occultic works and being saved are suffering, and many will go through the same deceptions that I did.

For every person you are trying to help out of the occult, there are MANY occultic new age teachers standing in the back twisting scriptures to validate their own will.

They are all struggling and a good example of this is all the Christians who you see on YouTube using numbers they keep seeing as "signs" God is giving them, but it's a form of numerology. It's very dangerous, but the experiences they are having are STRONG and severe, and "only God can do that" experiences. Scripture is the cure.

One of my pastors liked this Larry Norman song based on that 1 Corinthians passage, Jesus is the Rock That Doesn't Roll, and he and his band would play it for the congregation on special music days. It's a little bit much for a personal devotion, I would think.

And yet, no one has promoted occultic practices in this thread. You're presenting occultic ideas and then making assumptions and stretching to make associations that have nothing to do with what is being shared in this thread. I've not seen anyone here promote praying to rocks or angels or enquiring of devils.

God even gives dreams that have symbolism in them ....for instance, I had a dream that I know is from God wherein a purse represented "provision and identity."

I've learned all the new age religion, with tarot cards, and mix Buddhism in with it. Starting using Gregorian chants and repetition of song lyrics. I didn't know they call it Christiam mysticism now, it still new age to me, with UFO's in it also. When I hear crystals being used, the flag goes up and I start preaching against it.

Brother, I mean no harm, but there's some pride here in your works, and assuming everyone else isn't reading the Word. It's wonderful to remind folks to read and stay in the Word, and I fully agree. But it's prideful to believe you're the only one who does and the only one who encouraged people in the Word.

I'm not sure why you feel a need to correct me concerning things of the occult. You don't need to correct me concerning occultic practices, because I don't tolerate occultic practices in my life or my home.

Christian Mysticism is a false gospel. It's probably not related but they take a lot of false teachings.
