Hi there,
So just to broaden the horizon of theology a little, let us consider the Apostles. Were the Apostles, words in the flesh - because the Word in the Flesh dwelt in them? This seems to echo the thoughts that "scripture has said 'ye are gods'" and "they will all be taught by God". In other words, Jesus was teaching them to be words in the flesh. If you think about it, the more different the word the better! The stronger the flesh, that keeps the word the better!
In time, this truth becomes a dialogue; the Apostles commune with Jesus and His Word, and they (the Apostles) also commune with each other and their words. So the bond of love in God, grows daily, with God present in the midst of the Lord's Word ("and the Word was God"). So when the Lord reached out to us, through His Apostles, He reached out to make us "words in the flesh" - that the dialogue continue everywhere. If the dialogue continue everywhere and the word grow, then everyone will hear the Word and be drawn to the Flesh (with the exception of the one that betrays it - let the reader be mindful).
The power of this, is that the word can save the flesh, which the flesh saves. While we are young, we are able to experience the words of others; when we are old we are able to see how one word relates to another. So we are drawn to have word in our flesh, for ever. Not just us, but all of us. I hope this has been of some encouragement.
God bless.
