Hi Apak...I'm having a difficult time understanding what you mean.
God IS certain things. He passed them on to us. In Genesis where it states that God created man in His image...it does NOT mean that He made little Gods...or that we look like Him. It means that He gave to us certain qualities that He has.
There will be more on the way....
I'm not turning this into a debate about the Trinity...but if you understood it, then you'd know that Father, Son and Holy Spirit create a family - although not the type WE understand - much in the same way as we experience a family...We share love and we share responsibilities.
Also, I had stated HOW God created a family in His creation of humanity.

Surely a thread about God's attributes should be impossible to turn into an argument.
Please post an attribute of God's that you find helpful or interesting or even just apparent as belonging to both God and man.

I did not read the dispute between you two though, I had missed that, so I cannot comment on that. I try not to pull a dog by the ears when I am aware that it might not be helpful, just let things come to a head between folks, it will typically fade out soon enough.

Let me say this though: From your list:
We are eternal souls just like God is eternal.
There is some good in us....God IS all good and IS love.
Grace: Do we have grace? HOW do we have grace?
Holiness....OK....holy just means to be set apart for service to God.
Immanence....we're part of nature on a regular basis, so Yes.
Immutability...No, this was not passed on to mankind.
Justice...I'd say that our thirst for justice IS passed on from God.
Love....this was on my OP. Certainly God gifted us with love.
Mercy...yes, we can show mercy to others.
Omnipotence, omnipresence and omniscience are qualities that belong only to God.
Righteousness, self-existence, sovereignty and transcendence belong only to God.
Do you agree with the above?
