Amen!...I only know in my spirit that I am Born Again, as that is where the Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are Gods children, ....no one can say Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.

Did you say that you don’t think you’re Born Again?

Never listen to anyone about your salvation, that’s between God and yourself.

I’ve been told many times that I’m not Born Again by humans...I know different in my spirit, so never worry what others say...at the end of the day, they don’t testify with our spirit...only Gods Holy Spirit can do that.
Did you say that you don’t think you’re Born Again?
No I never said that.

Although, there can be doubt when there is sin in my life.

I’ve been told many times that I’m not Born Again by humans...I know different in my spirit, so never worry what others say...at the end of the day, they don’t testify with our spirit...only Gods Holy Spirit can do that.

I ahve been told multiple times that I am not saved.

My conscience is clear and only the Lord knows my heart.

Many do not like Romans 9 and really do not undesratnd what Paul was talking about.
Yes, I've noticed that.

Romans 9 addresses the question, "Has God un-elected the Jewish people?" It's not about individuals. And his answer in chapter 11 is surprising:

28 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, 29 for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. (Romans 11:28-29)

Hello @ElectedbyHim,

I went through the entirety of Romans myself, on record.

Probably my favorite book of the Bible.

Yes that is what many believe.

As I have stated, people do not understand Biblical election.

Grace and peace to you.

It’s good to read. I also probably give a little insight here and there, may be wrong may be right.

No I never said that.

Although, there can be doubt when there is sin in my life.
I don’t understand this, as a Born Again doesn’t sin because they have been Born Of God’s seed....I’m not saying I’m sinless, we were all in sin before we became Born Again, plus I still live in that old man of sin...the body.
I ahve been told multiple times that I am not saved.

My conscience is clear and only the Lord knows my heart.
My spirit knows it’s Born Again, which I’ve already explained.

I sin, and have had a change of heart.

Here is a video I made today.

I don’t hide from the fact that I do sin.

The more we mature in Christ, the more sin we see in our flesh, the more we see how undeserving we are of His salvation.

Paul struggled with this in Romans 7:14ff.

The Holiness of God shines light on our ugliness (sin), sometimes that produces doubt.

As I have stated eldewher, I believe that doubt may be healthy because it forces us to self-examine to see if we be in the faith.

Because there is no gospel for the non-elect. Unlimited Atonement, "Christ died for our sins", is inherent to the Gospel proclamation. See 1 Corinthians 15:3.
I do not understand your logic.

That is not what Unlimited Atonement teaches, you seem confused on this.

No one knows who God's elect are, we just share the gospel with people.

Were not in the flesh though, as a Born Again were in the Spirit, we are partakers Of the divine nature..God doesn’t see any sin in me as his child.

A Born Again cannot go on sinning as they have been Born Of God...pretty obvious , if one has been Born Again.

I have never doubted once that I’m Born Again...the only time I have doubted God is in a situation that I have been in for the past 33 yrs...I’m just waiting patiently for his will to come to pass, in an area of my life.

I agree about doubt...we just wait for more of God’s revelation when we doubt, I do understand what your saying....all of a sudden he will revel something to us, then it strengthens our faith.

Elect means to be chosen by God before the world began.

Those who have been predestined/ chosen by God...I never chose God he chose me, so all power and glory goes to God...I became Born Again by the power of Gods Spirit,I wouldn’t/ couldn’t bring my spirit Alive in the The Spirit..for me it came by supernatural divine heart revelation.

The Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are Gods children...Spirit gives birth to spirit.= by supernatural divine heart revelation...a Living divine spirit birth..

I also talk about how people suggest "God picks and chooses." Well Adam and eve had a choice to eat from the knowledge of good and evil, or the tree of life. In the end with Gods judgement upon Adam. Adam blamed God for the woman he gave him.

But the flesh is still in us.

Rom 7:20 But if I am doing the very thing I do not want, I am no longer the one working it out, but sin which dwells in me.
Rom 7:21 I find then the principle that in me evil is present—in me who wants to do good.
Rom 7:22 For I joyfully concur with the law of God in the inner man,
Rom 7:23 but I see a different law in my members, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a captive to the law of sin which is in my members.

Gal 5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.
Gal 5:17 For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you do not do the things that you want.

A Born Again cannot go on sinning as they have been Born Of God...pretty obvious , if one has been Born Again.
We still deal witth sin, we just do not live in habitual sin.

In his first epistle, the apostle John deals with the assurance of our salvation: “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:13). Since he wants his readers to “know” they have eternal life, John provides a test of faith that we can use to examine whether or not we are truly saved.

In 1 John are various descriptions of the genuine believer. If a person knows Christ and is growing in grace, he or she will be generally marked by the following traits:

1. The believer enjoys fellowship with Christ and His redeemed people (1 John 1:3).
2. The believer walks in the light, not in the darkness (1 John 1:6–7).
3. The believer admits and confesses his sin (1 John 1:8).
4. The believer obeys God’s Word (1 John 2:3–5).
5. The believer loves God rather than the world (1 John 2:15).
6. The believer’s life is characterized by “doing what is right” (1 John 2:29).
7. The believer seeks to maintain a pure life (1 John 3:3).
8. The believer sees a decreasing pattern of sin in his life (1 John 3:5–6; 5:18).
9. The believer demonstrates love for other Christians (1 John 3:14).
10. The believer “walks the walk,” versus just “talking the talk” (1 John 3:18–19).
11. The believer maintains a clear conscience (1 John 3:21).
12. The believer experiences victory in his Christian walk (1 John 5:4).

Number 8 in the list above is that the believer will evince a decreasing pattern of sin in his or her life. Here is what John says:

“No one who lives in [Christ] keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him” (1 John 3:6)

and

“We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them” (1 John 5:18)

Some misinterpret these verses to mean that Christians can attain sinless perfection. After all, John says that “no one who lives in Him sins” (1 John 3:6, NASB) and that “no one who is born of God sins” (5:18, NASB). Based on those verses, they reason, sin must be a thing of the past. If you commit a sin, that’s proof that you are not saved, because Christians are sinless. But that is not what John is teaching.

We know that, when John writes that believers do not continue to sin, he is not referring to sinless perfection because of what he writes elsewhere in the same epistle. To believers John says, “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us” (1 John 1:8). So, we are all sinners, and we continue to struggle with sin even after we are saved. We will never know a total absence of sin until we are with the Lord in glory: “When Christ appears, we shall be like him” (1 John 3:2).

If John is not referring to sinless perfection, what does he mean that believers do not continue to sin? Very simply, he means that believers will not continue practicing sin as a way of life. There will be a difference between the old life without Christ and the new life in Christ. The thief who was characterized by his theft is a thief no more; he has a different way of life. The adulterer who was characterized by his immorality is an adulterer no more; his behavior patterns have changed. The child of God who was a former thief may still struggle with covetousness, but he no longer lives according to the pattern of stealing. The child of God who was a former adulterer may still struggle with lust, but he has broken free from the old life of immorality. “All who have this hope in [Christ] purify themselves, just as he is pure” (1 John 3:3).

The Amplified Bible brings out John’s meaning clearly:

“No one who abides in Him [who remains united in fellowship with Him—deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin. No one who habitually sins has seen Him or known Him” (1 John 3:6, AMP)

and

“We know [with confidence] that anyone born of God does not habitually sin; but He (Jesus) who was born of God [carefully] keeps and protects him, and the evil one does not touch him” (1 John 5:18, AMP)

The word habitually is key. A believer will struggle with sin and sometimes give in, but giving in to sin is no longer normative. As we grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord (see 2 Peter 3:18), we are being sanctified. As we are led by the Spirit, we will walk more and more in obedience to the Word of God.

If a person claims to be a Christian but lives in defiance of God’s Word, then that person is showing the world he or she is unsaved. No one who continues to live in willful sin knows God. Because continual sin is incompatible with new life in Christ, living in unrepentant homosexuality, idolatry, or falsehood is proof that no regenerative work of the Spirit has yet taken place in the heart, regardless of anyone’s claims to the contrary.

John gives us the reason why believers do not continue to sin: “No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God” (1 John 3:9). A genuine Christian will not “deliberately, knowingly, and habitually” sin. It’s just not in their “spiritual DNA.”

So, you do not have any sin in your life?
I live in my old body of sin....I’m Born Of God, therefore I cannot continue to sin?

A Born Again cannot go on sinning because they have been Born Of God...do you understand what that means ?

Born Again of imperishable seed that liveth and abideth forever?

1 John 3

King James Version

3 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

When we become Born Again we are clothed in the righteousness of Christ.

Romans 6:15-23

New International Version

Slaves to Righteousness

15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means! 16 Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? 17 But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance. 18 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.
19 I am using an example from everyday life because of your human limitations. Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness leading to holiness.20 When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. 21 What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! 22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in[a] Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 John 3:4

commits sin. The verb commits in the Greek conveys the idea of making sin a habitual practice. Although genuine Christians have a sin disposition (1Jn_1:8), and do commit and need to confess sin (1Jn_1:9; 1Jn_2:1), that is not the unbroken pattern of their lives. A genuinely born-again believer has a built-in check or guard against habitual sinning due to a new nature ("born of God"—1Jn_3:9; Rom_6:12).

sin is lawlessness. The first reason why Christians cannot practice sin is because sin is incompatible with the law of God which they love (Psa_119:34, Psa_119:77, Psa_119:97; Rom_7:12, Rom_7:22). The term lawlessness conveys more than transgressing God's law. It conveys the ultimate sense of rebellion, i.e., living as if there was no law or ignoring what laws exist (Jas_4:17).

1 John 3:6

does not sin. Like the phrase "commits sin" of verse 1Jn_3:4, the sense conveyed here is the idea of habitual, constant sinning.
Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. If no check against habitual sin exists in someone who professes to be a Christian, John's pronouncement is absolutely clear-salvation never took place.

1 John 3:8

He who sins. This phrase means "who habitually practice sin" (see notes on 1Jn_3:4, 1Jn_3:6).
of the devil. This phrase gives the source of the false teachers' actions. The term devil means "accuser" or "slanderer." Not only does Satan ("adversary") oppose God and His plan, but he is the originator and instigator of sin and rebellion against God and His law (1Jn_3:4; see notes on Eph_6:10-17). Therefore, all the unsaved are under the diabolic influence of Satan. Their sinful lifestyle reflects their satanic origin (see note on Eph_2:1). John contrasts the children of God with the children of Satan in terms of their actions. While those who are truly born again reflect the habit of righteousness, Satan's children practice sin.

from the beginning. Since Satan was originally created as perfect and only later rebelled against God (Isa_14:12-14; Eze_28:12-17), John probably means the moment of his rebellion against God, the beginning of his rebellious career. Since sin characterizes him completely, so everyone characterized by sin must derive from him (cf. Joh_8:44).

For this purpose … that He might destroy. A third reason why Christians cannot practice sin is because Christ came to destroy the works of the arch-sinner, Satan. The devil is still operating, but he has been defeated and, in Christ, true believers escape his tyranny. The day will come when all of Satan's activity will cease in the universe and he will be sent to hell forever (Rev_20:10).

works of the devil. This summarizes a variety of the devil's activities: sin, rebellion, temptation, ruling the world, persecution and accusation of saints, instigation of false teachers, and exercising the power of death (e.g., Luk_8:12; Joh_8:44; Act_5:3; 1Co_7:5; 2Co_4:4; Eph_6:11-12; 1Th_2:18; Heb_2:14; Rev_12:10).

1 John 3:9

The fourth reason why Christians cannot practice sin is because it is incompatible with the ministry of the Holy Spirit, who has imparted a new nature to the believer (Joh_3:5-8).

born of God. John wrote here of the new birth (Joh_3:7). When people become Christians, God makes them new creatures with new natures (2Co_5:17). Believers have God's characteristics because they have been born into God's family. This new nature exhibits the habitual character of righteousness produced by the Holy Spirit (Gal_5:22-24). John repeats this phrase twice for emphasis.
His seed. The new birth involves the acquisition of a seed, which refers to the principle of God's life imparted to the believer at salvation's new birth. John uses this image of a planted seed to picture the divine element involved in being born again. See notes on 1Pe_1:23-25.

remains. The word conveys the idea of the permanence of the new birth which cannot be reversed, for those who are truly born again are permanently transformed into a new creation (2Co_5:17; Gal_6:15; Eph_2:10).
he cannot sin. This phrase once again conveys the impossibility of habitual sinning (see 1Jn_3:4, 1Jn_3:6).
