interfaith is of anti christ cloaked to look good and for a good cause .
If you are meaning that the doctrine of Christ is to be considered equal to Buddhism, Hinduism, and many similar faiths,
that deny that Jesus, God's ONLY begotten Son Himself,
has come in the flesh, then yes that would be what "interfaith" is.
If that be the case, then
all "
born again" Christians, who are"sealed" by the Holy Spirit, will be
leaving the
visible churches that invite and entertain
apostasy, though
they themselves shall be
branded as being apostate, by the Apostate churches.
It's something of a
"role reversal", to the good of those WHO ARE "sealed in Christ", that none have attempted to think about. Such "a falling away" from the Apostate churches, would not be a negative. 2 Thes. 2:2-4.
Edit: here is the full scripture of your quote in post #272:
2 Peter 2
[
1] But there were
false prophets also
among the people,
even as
there shall be false TEACHERS among you, who privily shall
bring in damnable heresies,
even denying the Lord that bought them,
and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
[
2]
And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
Now I ask you, would you,
as a born again Christian, who has been bought by the blood of Christ, stay in a
visible Apostate church, listening to damnable heresies??
Though you may not agree to what I am saying, we must consider who it actually is that is "falling away" and why.
Let's look at 2 Thes. 2:2-4 again:
[
2] That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us,
as that the day of Christ is at hand.
[Written 2024+/- years ago].
[
3] Let no man
[plural] deceive you by any means:
for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that [the] man [men] of sin be revealed, the son [sons] of perdition [destruction];
[
4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped;
so that he [satan] as God sitteth in the [potential] temple of God [of their own human bodies], shewing himself
[through them] that he
[satan] is God.

(
***Note: in the
Textus Receptus Greek, the word
"the" is used and not
"that", which allows for the verse(s) to be understood
in the plural).
Q. So, the question is: who exactly are they, that are "falling away", and what exactly are they "falling away" from?
A. They are
born again Christians falling away from (leaving) the deception by those who are that
[the] man
[men] of sin,
being those who remain to be of "the natural man", who are NOT born again of God's Holy Spirit, who TEACH, sit and dwell among you in the Apostate churches, wallowing in "the wisdom of men".
Rom. 8
[
9]
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any [plural] man have not the Spirit of Christ, he [they] is [are] none of his.
1 John 1
[
18] Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard
that [spirit of] antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists [plural]; whereby we know that it is the last time.
1 John 4
[
3]
And every [plural] spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
