I would consider Jesus a fraud if he said he was God. Would think it a bit odd if I came up to you and said "I am God." That's is not how one claims to be God. You have to demonstrate your deity by demonstrated that you are God.
The book you are looking is entitled "Putting Jesus in his place." the authors brilliantly show that Jesus is God by the acronym HANDS. Jesus accepts Honor that only belongs to God. He demonstrates the Attributes of God, etc. You would not believe how many places Jesus is shown to be God. It is the most scholarly presentation that I have seen that argues for Jesus' deity.

I believe that God - he wants us to go to heaven to retain our earthly bodies - and keep our earthly human senses and visibly see and hear him, the father through Jesus.

We have been over this Taken...the soul merely referes to the whole of life. The body along with its last breath dies and returns to the grave as taught in Genesis. After that nothing!
Being born again simply means having a mind enlightened to the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, expressed through willing obedience. This person will be raised from the dead and glorified anew when He returns.
