For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.

What I said does not conflict with the above at all.

We are not born of God of our will. This is not our decision to make.

John 1
10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His [c]own, and His [d]own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the [e]right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Those who received Christ were beforehand born again of God. 'were born', not 'are born' due to our receiving Him
And it is consistent with every scripture related to our election by God, and is why you believe..

Like 1 John 5 says

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him

If being born of God was of our wills, with God then making us born again afterwards, then it would be as you said, but it is actually the reverse.

'The elect whom He chose' is not 'We chose Him and He elected us'

26 For [k]you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many [l]noble, are called.

God did not call all.

But the ones God did call did believe.

Acts 15, regarding the gentiles who are turning to God, they God called, which is why they turned. God is the prime mover and the reason you are in Christ is He called you personally.

12 Then all the multitude kept silent and listened to Barnabas and Paul declaring how many miracles and wonders God had worked through them among the Gentiles. 13 And after they had [c]become silent, James answered, saying, “Men and brethren, listen to me: 14 Simon has declared how God at the first visited the Gentiles to take out of them a people for His name. 15 And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written:

16 ‘After this I will return
And will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down;
I will rebuild its ruins,
And I will set it up;
17 So that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord,
Even all the Gentiles who are called by My name,
Says the [d]Lord who does all these things.’

18 [e]“Known to God from eternity are all His works. 19 Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles who are turning to God,
Being called is not the same as being Born-Again

What is the Order that Scripture has PERMANENTLY and IRREVERSIBLY established???

Genesis = #1 FATHER, #2 SON , #3 HOLY SPIRIT

What is the Order given to us in the GOSPEL???

Simply being being born again must come first, and this is just as Christ said in John 3
Unless you are born again, you will not SEE the kingdom of God or enter it.
You will not be spiritually minded, you will be completely carnally minded.

John 3
3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born [a]again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

4 Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”

5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Unless you are born again, you will not believe. The carnal mind is enmity with God and it says like this

Romans 8

7 Because the [c]carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

If your not 'born again' you are carnally minded and the Spirit does not dwell in you

If the carnal mind is not subject to God, then he cannot obey God's will to repent and believe in Christ

Who is speaking to Nicodemus?

Would you believe JESUS at His word???

Here it is = the Order of New Birth = Luke 8:11-15

Now the parable is this:
The seed is the word of God (1 Peter 1:23 = born again through incorruptible seed, the Word)
Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away. Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity. But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.[

Another example of born of God, meaning they have God as their Father, only they love Christ.

John 8
42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. 43 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me?

47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.”

Not hearing the Father means your not born again of the Father, He is not your Father and you don't listen or do the things He says

For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
Yes, God gives us His son Jesus, who God anointed to be our redeemer and saviour, and Jesus will be the king/governer over God's Kingdom, on earth and in heaven.

And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Jesus is indeed a mighty god, for God has given Jesus all power and authority to rule over His Kingdom - Matthew 28:18 (WEB):

(18) Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.

This is just like the type of Joseph, who was given all authorty to rule in Egypt. The Pharaoh represented God (YHVH), Joseph represented Jesus, and Egypt represented the whole world. Genesis 41:40-44 (WEB):

(40) You shall be over my house, and according to your word will all my people be ruled. Only in the throne I will be greater than you.”
(41) Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Behold, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”
(42) Pharaoh took off his signet ring from his hand, and put it on Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in robes of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck.
(43) He made him ride in the second chariot which he had. They cried before him, “Bow the knee!” He set him over all the land of Egypt.
(44) Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh, and without you shall no man lift up his hand or his foot in all the land of Egypt.”

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
A more literal translation is "father of eternity". Barnes' Notes says:

The Hebrews used the term father in a great variety of senses - as a literal father, a grandfather, an ancestor, a ruler, an instructor. The phrase may either mean the same as the Eternal Father, and the sense will be, that the Messiah will not, as must be the ease with an earthly king, however excellent, leave his people destitute after a short reign, but will rule over them and bless them forever (Hengstenberg); or it may be used in accordance with a custom usual in Hebrew and in Arabic, where he who possesses a thing is called the father of it.

Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
As above, Jesus will rule over God's Kingdom and it will be peaceful forever. As in the type, Jesus will only be subservient to God in the throne - 1 Corinthians 15:24-28 (WEB):

(24) Then the end comes, when he will deliver up the Kingdom to God, even the Father; when he will have abolished all rule and all authority and power.
(25) For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
(26) The last enemy that will be abolished is death.
(27) For, “He put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when he says, “All things are put in subjection”, it is evident that he is excepted who subjected all things to him.
(28) When all things have been subjected to him, then the Son will also himself be subjected to him who subjected all things to him, that God may be all in all.

Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
All glory to YHVH, as always.

Isaiah 42:8
I am the Lord, that is My name;
And My glory I will not give to another,

Nor My praise to carved images.

So How then does the Lord God give His glory, power, authority over all heaven and earth, including the worship of men and angels to just a man called Jesus?

Well, God does not. See what I am saying? No created thing will inherit the glory power, dominion , authority of God the Father.

But the Son does.

Don't make it so circular, Jesus is actually the author of Your faith.
Everything has it's beginning with God and Christ, they are the beginning, (and the ending).

1 Corinthians 2:14
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

God tells every man to repent and believe in Christ, yet they do not do that unless born again. They just are like Christ said not able to hear His words.

Being born again gives men the ability to hear believe Christ

Of course. Colossians 1:16 says:

(16) For by him all things were created, in the heavens and on the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and for him.

God created all things - Hebrews 3:1-4 (WEB):

(1) Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus;
(2) who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also was Moses in all his house.
(3) For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, because he who built the house has more honor than the house.
(4) For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.

but God created all things through Jesus - Hebrews 1:1-2 (WEB):

(1) God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,
(2) has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.

A few times, when Jesus was casting out demons from possessed Jews, these demons said to Jesus, “We know exactly who you are, the Holy One of God.

Never once did they call him ‘God’.
As “sons of God” themselves, albeit rebellious & alienated, they knew who Jesus was…. their former big brother.
Are you suggesting that because these demons didn't call Jesus 'God," therefore Jesus cannot be God? Literally CANNOT BE? Impossible? No way in hell (or anywhere else)? If Jesus were God, it is unimaginable that these demons would have call Him "the Holy One of God" rather than "God?"

Because if that's what you are suggesting, it really deserves its own post.

Romans 12
3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

The faith to believe, and your actual belief God has granted to you
Only those God has granted come to Christ.
Since not all do come, then God has not granted all to come.
But God still commands all to repent and believe in Christ.

Might seem paradoxical but this is the truth, You do not have the mind of God to be His councilor.

John 6
63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. 64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. 65 And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.”

It is the Spirit which gives life, again you must be born again, made spiritually alive to God, then He can teach and lead you to your belief in Christ. This is the choice and will of the Father-Christ-Spirit alone.

Striving and Suffering for Christ

27 Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, 28 and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but [f]to you of salvation, and that from God. 29 For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake, 30 having the same conflict which you saw in me and now hear is in me.

According to Acts 17:3, the Apostle Paul “reasoned with” others “from the Scriptures.”

So let’s reason on these Scriptures you quoted….

First of all, the murderous Jews were making this argument. This was their claim.
Those Jews were liars, filled with hatred & bias. Their claim was empty….for they, too, called God their Father. - John 8:41

Look at the context, the following verses.
(This is another one of those misconstrued verses by biased translators. “Ho theos”, ie., “THE God, is not found here in John 10:33, only “theos”, ie., “a god”.)

What was Jesus’ rebuttal? His quote of Psalm 82:6 answered their accusation, because what these Jews really said was, “you, a mere man, make yourself a god.” (Otherwise, Jesus’ rebuttal [regarding lower-case “gods”] makes no sense.)

Because of this, on p. 344, United Bible Societies, 1980, states
"Purely on the basis of the Greek text, therefore, it is possible to translate [John 10:33] 'a god,' as NEB does, rather than to translate God, as TEV and several other translations do. One might argue on the basis of both the Greek and the context, that the Jews were accusing Jesus of claiming to be 'a god' rather than 'God.' "-

Young's Concise Critical Bible Commentary, p. 62 avers
"`makest thyself a god,' not `God' as in C.V. [King James Version or `Common Version'], otherwise the definite article would not have been omitted, as it is here, and in the next two verses, -- `gods .. gods,' where the title is applied to magistrates, and others ...."

This fact is also admitted by the well known Trinitarian NT scholar C. H. Dodd:
"making himself a god." - The Interpretation of the Fourth Gospel, p. 205, Cambridge University Press, 1995 reprint.

"We are not going to stone you for any good deed, but for your blasphemy. You, a mere man, claim to be a god." New English Bible (NEB).

You are using a biased translation here, cousin.
You say we can't believe the lying Jews then you make your whole case based on what specifically they said

God made it Circular = a circle has no Beginning point and no Ending point

Here is the Order God has established for us: "God preached the Gospel to Abraham" = GOSPEL

GOSPEL = GENESIS

Abraham - FATHER
Isaac - only Begotten SON
Jacob - HOLY SPIRIT

God, Salvation, Holy Spirit is a MYSTERY that is best explained to us in the Gospel

The WORD is the incorruptible SEED that brings forth the New Birth = 1 Peter 1:23
"For you have been born again, of incorruptible SEED, through the living and enduring Word of God."

It is the Holy Spirit's job to act as the Jewish Rabbi Mohel who performs the Circumcision of a man's heart.
The Circumcision of the Heart only occurs AFTER hearing the WORD

No one believes in God without Hearing His Word FIRST = SEE Genesis Abraham = Abraham believed the Word and God credited to Him for Righteousness = Circumcision of the Heart

If the New Birth took place BEFORE the hearing of the Word = what purpose then did the FATHER send JESUS
ALL THREE are TOGETHER in the SALVATION of a man/woman

"The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life" = spirit gives Life thru the Word/SEED of God

"He who hears my words" = "For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ"

Just as a woman MUST receive the SEED of a man in order to CONCEIVE a NEW BIRTH in her womb,
so also MUST a person FIRST receive the Word in their hearts in Order for the Holy Spirit New Birth

God sends His Word = Sower/Planting
the Holy Spirit looks for the Word = waters it
The Word takes root in the persons heart(Holy Spirit watering the Word) = New Birth

SAME as inside a woman's womb which is why JESUS said this to Nicodemus

No one knows at what moment a person is Born Again
except the Spirit and the person who is experiencing the New Birth.

Not a single person who has been born again will tell you that they NEVER heard the Word of God
