What does Luke 22:21 mean to you? What does it mean to you in context of the rest of Luke 22? Luke 22:21 Interlinear Bible (KJV) - Greek Text and Lexicon
To me, Luke 22:21-22 is Jesus referring to Judas who was there present at what has been called the last supper.

In Luke 22:1-6, is about Judas's deal he made with the chief priests and captains on betraying Jesus, in a manner so as to be done out of the eye of the public.

Even also, 1 Corinthians 11:27-29 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. [28] But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. [29] For he that eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
I think 1Corinthians11:27-29 is about persons who partake in the communion remembrance of Christ's sacrifice on the cross - who do it just to fill their stomachs are unworthy, because they are eating the parcel of bread and drinking the wine for the wrong reason.

You did not take the seven years that follow the Ezekiel 39 Gog/Magog event into account.

And you have deliberately ignored the point I made concerning the similarities between Rev 20:7-10 and Ez 38-39 in an attempt to strength your logic as if it is an irrelevant and insignificant comparison. The seven years that it will take to cleanse the earth, where the dead bodies of the Gog and Magog armies are, is irrelevant to the storyline of what has and will take place.

I appreciate the fact that you respond so quickly as it shows just how wrong you are and your need to justify your position.

I am not the only one who questions your understanding of the End Times and the Book of Revelation.

The speed of a reply is not indicative of the wrongness of a position. I will make sure not to reply quickly to your reply just to be safe though :)

Jay, it is not me who did not take into consideration that 7 years follow the Gog/Magog event, but you.

I am not the only one who questions your understanding of the End Times and the Book of Revelation.
I have yet to heard anyone else give a breakdown of Ezekiel 39.

so you think it means Judas was sitting at the table with him, Judas being the only one who betrays Him? Personally, I don’t think it’s an accidental slip His saying, the one who betrays Him is on the table with Him. Woe unto him. You quoted the similar warning in: I will give you to be food for the beast and fowls. I can’t prove it wasn’t an accident bad interpretation which actually meant the one who betrays Jesus Christ is sitting at the table; instead of Woe, he who betrays me is on the table with Me. Yet, Romans 11:9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:

All the passages you keep quoting though…if right from the start the perspective is literal beast and fowls come to eat, to gather around the sacrifice of the Lord, the great sacrifice, to eat at the table …giving them over to the beast of the field, and the fowls of the air…are these literal animals that come to eat? (Then we will say to people with pet animals, how animals have no part?) If your enemy is hungry…feed him. Give him drink and food to eat, in so doing you pour hot coals upon his head and the Lord will reward you? Why?

How can we be so certain our perspective is true and not false when it begins with literal beast and fowls called to the table?

Ezekiel 39:4 Lexicon: "You will fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops and the peoples who are with you; I will give you as food to every kind of predatory bird and beast of the field.
…literal food for every kind of (literal)predatory bird and beast of the field?

Jeremiah 15:2-3 And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Where shall we go forth? then you shall tell them, Thus says the LORD; Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity. [3] And I will appoint over them four kinds, says the LORD: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.

^Any weapon formed against you, will not prosper.

Just one perspective from google…NLT Outside the city are the dogs — the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idol worshipers, and all who love to live a lie. (Yet all becomes literal…dogs that tear. Don’t forget the woman who crawled in to eat the crumbs that fell from the masters table! Saying even the dogs eat the crumbs from the masters table!)
we contradict what are the beast and fowls called to eat of the sacrifice? Come you fowls and you beast; assemble, gather around My table! The Great sacrifice of The LORD! Eat! And …I will set My Glory among “the heathen”

Why in Old Testament the call is to beast of the field and the fowls of the air, but in Revelation it’s only the fowls who are called? Do you see literal animals eating blood and gore of dead bodies and dead horses? Is God only calling in the future to clean up the dead, literally, laying around. Like vultures come to clean up the decay and pick at rotting corpses?

I’m sorry but I don’t see some way off war where literal fowls and beast come to chew literal meat and scrape bones clean and lap up blood like in some horror movie. We would be horrified if watching some horror movie and the ending is all the dead in war are eaten (finished off) by wild animals in a horrific final scene. Like a pack of hyenas having a feast on all the slain of the Lord in the future?

Same connection here also to the passages you quoted. I still think those who go away drunk while others go away hungry…links to the passages you have quoted of those made drunk. Eating and drinking damnation down…what is “that is why many among you sleep”??
Ezekiel 39:19 And you shall eat fat till you be full, and drink blood till you be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.
In so doing…being guilty of the blood of Christ…regarding the Lord’s sacrifice…what was meant for their good, has become their own harm? Picture Visuals of wild dogs eating corpses where God who is Love (I get it, He is also hate) calls those wild beast and fowls to devour and pick at the rotting (literally) dead everywhere …even horses and riders! I can’t express how much I’m convinced it’s not what God meant in those passages you quote. If that’s the visual presented by end timers, they’re prophecy of the end. (Imo) I seriously doubt their perspective. When they are wish-washy concerning beast, fowls, dogs and sword! Changing the meanings to suit end time predictions. Of course that is only my opinion. What I see by this world and religion is one thing that appears to be a fact. It’s the Bible that makes drunk. its verses of the word perverted and corrupted that make drunkenness. Look around and little knowledge puffs up, our becoming drunk in our own tales.

As Paul said regarding the Lords table ..some go away in drunkenness. Some go away hungry. That is why I don’t even know why I’m engaging in an end time thread. There is nothing that makes drunk quicker “be you sober!” ? …then Pride and arrogance in all the end time counting of things, convinced we have it figured out above all others. It is like alcoholic wine: heady, intoxicating, and tempting to drink and eat, drink and eat, drink and eat to build up further our arsenal of “look here,” debating the years and days and beast rising up and …” the drunker we become in high-mindedness. The more we drink. Brothers against brothers all for the sake of what are we eating and drinking? Do we pay attention to the boozing effects it causes? Going to clean my house. These topics are unfruitful for no one ever agrees. Every one has a prediction of the end. The more right we think we are, the drunker we become in our own high mindedness. If the drink is intoxicating…maybe I should stop drinking and sober up?

Still think an old member Byrd had it correct: We don’t read the Word, the Word reads us.

YOUR DENIAL is not the measure me, GOD IS. He is my witness, and I am His.
It's not me, you are right. What we put out is our measure.......and I would add, if deception was obvious to the deceived, most would not be ......but because deception is such an insidious thing, it is not recognised....even loved.

I'm certain, even if one understands prophecy poorly/ badly, God still hoots for that person but what can God do when the person who thinks they are on God's side are actually resisting him?

He would crucify them--as you, according to your actions, would do to me if given the chance.

As I said, God is my witness...and it is too late to take back what you have already done and continue to do.
Tell me what you perceive I have done and continue to do which you find so offensive Scott.

I am not offended, for such things are written. Which is not to say that you are not an offense, because you are, even if you did not know it was rather against God. As for telling you--He will tell you.

You make a charge then you fudge the clarification of it when it is asked for....then deflect the responsibility onto God. I would call that cowardice Scott!

And yet a few are true, and truly sent by God.

And then there are those who categorically dismiss all as if God never sent anyone--like you, a pathetic name caller.
do you understand the principle of projection Scott?
