I agree with your position, and have held that position for a long time. Having said that, I also do believe God cares about the country of Israel....just as much as he cares about every country on this earth, including ours. Because HIS LIVING STONES TEMPLE, dwells in every country.
But, in agreement with you, would not help to build any brick and mortar man-made temples of false religions.

You may not loose your salvation giving money to that temple building venture in Israel....but I do believe you will loose a reward in the hereafter.

The present love affair with Israel, affecting even America's foreign policy, is the result of counter Reformation policies instituted by Jesuits to take the eyes off the papacy and destroy Protestantism. Jesus Himself declared, "your house is left unto you desolate". Israel... the nation... was established under certain conditions. Those conditions were never met. Therefore the promises, the ministry and the blessings have been given to another who will bring forth the fruits required. The church.

Many temples MAY be built before the end, I don't know.
I personally don't believe that a temple from some Kabbalah Jewish sect (from the 13th century) OR any other type of "Interfaith" temple would be a temple that modern Jews would 'mingle' with. I believe that the temple they are hoping to return to would only resemble the Judaism that existed prior to the temple destroyed by Titus.
I have not changed my opinion that many of the posts in this thread are based on false premises like Israel will be gathered by God to the Land of Canaan and that they will rebuild the temple.
But Jesus clearly states that Israel will not have the means to complete the rebuilding of the temple after they begin laying the foundation for the temple.
Jesus also indicates that the nations around Jerusalem will rise up with all of the kings of the earth to stop Israel from completing the building of the proposed new temple and as they gather at Armageddon for one last tilt at trampling God's sanctuary and His earthly hosts, that He will judges the kings of those nations gathered at Armageddon and imprison them for many days in a pit to await the time of their punishment.
It is at the time of this judgement that Israel will seek Jesus'/God's terms of peace, and they will accept those terms and as they repent of their iniquities God will begin gathering the Israelites to Himself and redeeming them and plant them in His fertile field and teach them about the religion based on the fundamental foundation that Jesus is the Son of God.
Sadly, the contextual accuracy of the translations that people are basing their opinion on, are all flawed, such that their opinions are filled with misunderstanding on God's prophetic words.
It is one of the reasons that threads like this one are dangerous for people to follow and participate in because of all the venom and hatred that flows from the members commenting in the thread.

Roman Catholicism for one has never been the Lord's "Church" its a cult no different than Mormonism or the Jehovahs Witnesses

Surely the Holy Spirit did not inspire such brutality.

It's the pagan religion created by Roman Emperor Constatine 321AD, and it's still the same today

I was thinking an image could represent some technological aspect here, holographic projection or could just be an idol.
