God just blessed America in a big way!
Praise God!

Change is coming and we will start moving in the right direction.
But what will we do with all these illegal aliens? Many of them are children who have nothing and need help. It's not their fault. Certainly Trump cannot deport 5k/day for four years - that would be some trick. But the criminals, the gangs _ as we find them _ they need to go.

Imagine inviting 12 million immigrants, promising them a new life, free stuff, for their votes. And after adding maybe millions ( who knows) of fraudulent votes to Kamala's count - it didn't work! So now we have all these immigrants, who did not serve their purpose, with their hands out.
How do they feel? Manipulated, deceived, disillusioned and now stuck, broke and homeless. "Where's our free life Biden? We are on the street, living in squalor"! Obama, Biden, nor Kamala give a hoot about them.
What to do?
I say help the kids, educate them, teach them the American way. As for the adults, well they better be willing to work to pay their way. A strong work ethic shall be enforced. The Bible says, :If you don't work, you don't eat." God commands responsibility, that is what made America great to begin with; families willing to work hard towards their dreams, their pursuit of happiness. Or shall we send them all back to their nations, back to the certainty of a hopeless existence of poverty and unsafety. I don't think that is what Jesus would do.
Give them a chance, hope, but an ultimatum!
They must work and learn the language or get the heck out, no welfare for sluggards.
Christians should pray and find a way, a solution that benefits all. I believe many of them are Christians. Many of them prayed before and during their long journeys in hope that we would be merciful. Yes, close the borders now, but these who are already here, shouldn't we answer their prayers?
What say you?

There is always some kind of lure to commit crime, and in this case it's to gain what's not rightfully yours. Just because someone is enabling you doesn't mean you aren't making your own choice.

This is a crime committed against the people of the United States, that has caused true harm to the people of the United States, and we have a right to redress this wrong.

That begins by re-establishing a situation that is in accord with the law of our land. And that means removing those who are here illegally. Do we allow the burglar to remain in the home, after all, he's already here, so he should be able to eat from the kitchen?

Children always suffer for the misdeed of their parents. When a US citizen is convited and sent to prison, the children are without their parent. It's just the way it is.

Some say that we shouldn't separate the child from their parent, in the case that the child was born on US soil. Anchor babies. The assumption is that the child has the right to stay, and deserves its parents. But in truth the child is affected by what the parents do, and the parents are to be deported if they are here illegally. They most certainly are to take their children with them! We are not offering to make them wards of the state!

Much love!

So, your answer is to send them all back. Trump says that but I don't think he will actually deport 5k/ day for 4 years. You would have to find them, set up a task force of 20k agents, then what, bus them to the border and tell them, "Okay climb over the fense"? My question is, WWJD?

5000 a day for 4 years only gets you to 7.3 million, estimates are between 15 and 20 million from what I've been reading. Regardless, not to worry about the logistics, we are a very industrious nation.

My question is, WWJD?
Did Jesus make any particular statements which might point us in a direction?

John 10:1 KJV
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

Isn't this calling out those who don't come in the right way? Does God show concern over a person's right to own possessions/property? That those rights should be protected? I see that all over in the Bible.

Much love!

Better question is what would Ike do? He executed mass deportations, about 5 million. Trump will easily break that record.

I've had it with the WWJD on one side only. Jesus would not have violated the law in crossing the border illegally in the first place.

Clever, but that is a parable that distinguishes the Shepherd ( Jesus), from all other false messiahs/prophets. Jesus is the Door, the only way to salvation.
I am not talking about spiritual salvation, merely about what we are called to do and how we are to respond ... "love thy neighbor as thyself". Jesus tells us tue story of the Good Samaritan who helped one person, who was beaten up and robbed.
What you are implying is that we should respond to all those illegal kids, and adults who lay out in the street defeated and hopeless like the Pharisees and people who passed by the one man and did not help. ?

Once again I'll use the analogy of a thief in your house. Let's make it more accurate, a squatter takes up residence in your house. Do you let them stay? What if they bring their children? And let's say you do in fact let them stay, give them a room, let them eat from your kitchen. Then they bring 20 more in with them, do you let them stay?

Give them help, but use your own resources. Don't take from someone else what you want to give to these defeated and hopeless criminal intruders, or you become the criminal yourself.

Look at what's just happened in South Carolina, as those who lost everything in the hurricanes receive little to no govmt help, being told, sorry, we already used our budget up on the "migrants".

Much love!

That is a bit different. These people are living on the streets unless the government gave them a hotel room. I am in a small town in Texas and so I doubt they will infringe on my personal property and comforts. Now as for Venezuelan gangs doing that, my Good Samaritan manners would not apply.
I think since tye Dems are responsible for inviting them here, they well to do. Dems should each invite an immigrant family to love with them or at least one child. I realize that 10 million will probably cost us hundreds of billions every year ... just glad we can see an end to the surge. If Biden had just one patriotic bone in him; since their plan failed, he should close the border now.

The subject is how to address our country’s invasion for decades.
I am a Republican, voted for Trump, was in support of the wall (and still am) and so have been against this invasion all along.
Let's be clear, Trump won partially because people were fed up with this open border invasion.
I am just asking what we should do now that they are here, gave my opinion and heard others.
How realistic is it to deport 12+ million people in four years? The other consideration is how do we humanely treat poor, destitute migrants (whom many are Christians) with a spirit of love, grace and justice? They did not believe they would were breaking any laws after Biden opened the borders and sent out invitations. He even sent planes to fly people in, created websites with applications with migration instructions. So to them, it was a mere executive order that voided any migration laws. They got a free pass and was offered free stuff too. Unfortunately, we have to clean up his mess in a Christian way, which would have everyone's interests at heart

So, I get your position and Marks
Thank you, it's not a debate. Actually, I thought if this could be done intelligibly with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, maybe we could refine it as a proposal and send it off to our government representatives. If the message was short like yours, " deport", there would be no point. Trump already has something in mind and he will have good advisors. We' see.

What? The poor displaced migrants? Don't you understand that many of the countries that the migrants came from were dumped onto us from their jails? Convicted murderers and criminals? Not to even mention the percentage of them that are foreign soldiers..

No my friend, this was an invasion of our land on a scale that defies logic. It needs dealt with. We can't look the other way in the name of Christianity, that would be stupid. If you want to be nice to migrants, then buy some plane tickets home for them or pray for them. And let them immigrate legally if they can. We have a duty to our own people and nation above illegal migrants. It wont be pretty for them but it needs done.

Also, he seems to be confusing reacting as an individual with charity and mercy in mind with being an agent of justice and the law.

I noticed that so that's why I suggested he could buy some plane tickets for them. Maybe he is willing to even take some migrants into his home?

I like helping people but proper perspective is bigger fish to fry.

Yes, I understand, some 600k criminals some of which are murderers - deport them if and when you find them. Not easy, how do we know who they are, we can't vet them. They've been let loose in the mix. It is crazy, frightening and deadly. We can wait til they commit a crime, snatch them one by one, maybe capture a group of them here and there... a couple dozen/day ... a couple hundred - if we have a legion of deport agents. But 8k/day?

Christ loved us when we were yet sinners. We are all sinners. You don't think His way is better - "love your neighbor ... even your enemies"?
They came here because we have been a light in the distance, the Land of Oz to them. To the world we are and have been a place people dream about going to for a better life. That yellow brick road was thousands of miles on foot and the Wicked Witch of the East was at every turn trying to put obstacles, illnesses, hunger and death in their way. They make it to the door of this wonderful place and the Wizard tells the doorman to tell them to go home. Look into the children's eyes and say, "Go back where you came from ... we can help you, offer you a better life, but we don't want to, we are selfish, greedy, unmerciful and just don't want to share the light ... it's ours... we earned it _ legally!" Really? We are hiding behind ours laws to justify our case. Just what does God think about how we respond to our predicament? God gave us everything. Everything that is good comes from God.

The Jews had this attitude towards the Gentile world, like they were better, the chosen nation, whom The Lord favored and blessed; but the Gentiles were all lesser human beings, unworthy. And they had their laws too. God created everyone of those migrants - for what purpose? Do you know? No you don't. Likely many are reprobate but there is a remnant flock of sheep within them who Christ would have mercy on.

"Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.
And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour." Matt. 15:22-28
