See your post #538. You said it. You haven’t edited the post since you said it.

I quoted you verbatim. I even bolded it for you and for our readers.
Welcome to Rita world. I honestly do not think she knows what she says at times. So it is not odd she can not understand what you keep showing her. I mean it can not be much more clearer. But one think I learned if you prover her wrong you get what you have spent the many posts her today doing.

See your post #538. You said it. You haven’t edited the post to remove it since you said it.

I quoted you verbatim. I even bolded it (please see my post #568 again) for you and for our readers.
I voiced my opinion, like you do.
This is the post you are talking about below.
You don’t know that, it is just your own opinion being voiced.only God knows who are his children.

We have a relationship with the heart of God, which isn’t the Bible..the Bible is there to back up what we believe we hear from God...plus he and only he, brings us to understand the scriptures.

The Holy Spirit is the truth bearer..the Bible backs up what the Spirit witnesses to our heart / spirit, hence we must be Born Again to see the Kingdom Of God....which means ..supernaturally Born Of Gods seed.

You get some Bible preachers, who sadly imo, don’t know the heart of God...and that my friends is the place you need to know him, first and foremost...in the heart..just as his word says.

You did say it. Now you’ve quoted yourself saying it (“only God knows who are his children.”) in post #602.

Right?
..only God knows who are truly his children and of course we know in our spirit that we are his children.we don’t need anyone’s approval.

Indeed..only God know who are truly his …

Thank you for confirming that you said what I said that you said.

What you said in post #596 isn’t true. I don’t know why you said it but I consider it resolved.

You like everyone else, have just voiced your opinion.

Do you know God in your heart?

When is the last time you read this passage of scripture?

Some people read the Bible cover to cover and have never read it. If the translation you use is one of the following, you won’t have read it and may not even be aware of it: CJB, DLNT, ERV, GNT, NABRE, NIV, NIVUK, and TLV.

I spoke with a concerned student some years back who encountered this curious case and came to me on the verge of losing his trust in the reliability of Bible. As I recall, the student (who had read only the NIV) had been completely unaware of the “problem” until a Muslim he was evangelizing pointed it out to him.

Would you, the reader, have been able to help the shaken student? If you would, how would you go about it?
The students confusion is understandable when what appears in the authorized King James is not written in the NIV or NET version.
I didn't check all versions.

Where did the AKJV verse 4 come from?

If an angel of God stirred the water to give it healing properties maybe Jesus going directly to a chosen lame man to heal him directly is a metaphor for his being the water of life.

The vicar told me, that he preaches from the Bible ,what he learnt at university...he studied the Bible.i think theologians do that..they study the Bible.

Did you take that as a yes or a no to the question you asked him?

I met a vicar today, remberence service...he spoke with power.. I loved his service.

What, if anything, is the connection with the other vicar in regard to your question?

Does someone speaking with power answer the question you asked?
