Micah 4

King James Version

4 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the Lord of hosts hath spoken it.”

Zechariah 3:9-10

King James Version

9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
10 In that day, saith the Lord of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.

Isaiah 11:6
The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

Isaiah 65:25
The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord.

Psalm 105:7-11

King James Version

7 He is the Lord our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
9 Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
10 And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
11 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:”

Daniel 12:13
But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

Revelation 5:10
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Revelation 20:4-6

King James Version

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Before the millennium Gods people were prophesied to be scattered to all Nations, and from one corner of both heaven and earth.

At the first resurrection of the dead in Christ all of God’s saints shall be gathered together.

Matthew 24:31
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his electfrom the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Mark 13:27
And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

Ephesians 1:10
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

This prophecy of God gathering His people out of all of the Nations were he had scattered them goes way back, and is repeated several times in scripture.

Deuteronomy 30

King James Version

30 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath driven thee,
2 And shalt return unto the Lord thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;
3 That then the Lord thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath scattered thee.
4 If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the Lord thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:
5 And the Lord thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.
6 And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.”

Ezekiel 38:8
After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.

Revelation 20:9
And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

Zechariah 14

King James Version

14 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:
7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses.
11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the Lord shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.
14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.
15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.
16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.”

The above proves that some of the heathen are left on earth during the millennial reign of Christ with His saints in Jerusalem.

Can you explain why this -

8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

Isn’t that -

Jhn 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

The Living waters are the words of God spoken by His Spirit.

Jeremiah 2:13
For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

Jeremiah 17:13
O Lord, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the Lord, the fountain of living waters.

Revelation 7:17
For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

1 Peter 1:1
Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

If Amil were true All of Gods people would gathered together right now and reigning in the Holy land, living safely in peace from all their enemies. But we know this not the case.
You have shown yet again that you have no understanding of Amil. If Amil were true, which it is, then it would not be true that "All of Gods people would gathered together right now and reigning in the Holy land, living safely in peace from all their enemies" because Amil does not even teach that.

Instead, Amil teaches that God's people who are physically alive reign with Christ wherever they are because He dwells in our hearts and the souls of the dead in Christ reign with Him in heaven.

At His second coming at the end of the age His people will all be gathered to Jesus in the air, after which He destroys His enemies (1 Thess 4:14-5:3, 2 Thess 1:7-10), after which the judgment occurs (Matt 13:36-43;47-50, Matt 25:31-46). Then God's people will all inherit the entire renewed earth (new earth) where only righteousness will dwell (2 Peter 3:13) and where there will be no more death, sorrow, crying or pain (Rev 21:4).

Tell me, why will we be gathered and meet Jesus in the air when He comes if we're all going to be taken to a relatively small piece of land in Israel? Why wouldn't we be gathered and taken directly there to meet Jesus there instead of meeting Jesus in the air?

Is this holy land that you think we're going to inherit the same "land of promise" and "strange country" that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob no longer desired and looked forward to while they instead looked for and desired "a better country, that is, an heavenly"?

Hebrews 11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. 9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: 10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. 11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable. 13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. 15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. 16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Are you still in your flesh and blood physical body?

1 Corinthians 15:50
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Yes, of course. Am I saying that 1 Corinthians 15:50 has been fulfilled? No, I am not. You have a reading comprehension problem. Do you not differentiate between the spiritual kingdom of God that we're in now and the full manifestation of the kingdom of God that will occur when Christ returns? Do you somehow not think we are in the kingdom of God in any sense right now?

Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit,

That’s not what this thread is about, it is about the future reign on earth with Christ and his saints for a thousand years, which Amils do not believe in. But the scriptures I posted in the OP prove the saints shall inherit the earth.

The saints inheriting the earth is future, after the first resurrection of the dead in Christ.

Psalm 105:7-11

King James Version

7 He is the Lord our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.

11 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:”

Daniel 12:13
But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

We do not believe that 1 Corinthians 15:50 is fulfilled, so why don't you try to stop misrepresenting our view all the time? It makes you look very ignorant.

But the scriptures I posted in the OP prove the saints shall inherit the earth.
I agree. I believe the earth will be renewed (new earth) when Jesus returns (2 Peter 3:10-13) and we will inherit it for eternity. You, on the other hand, think the saints will inherit the earth as we know it only temporarily after which time it will be burned up and renewed. What a sad thing to believe in.

Tell me, should we be looking to inherit the "strange country" that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob dwelt in or the "better country" that they were looking for (Hebrews 11:8-16)? Peter said we are looking for "new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness" in accordance with the promise of Christ's second coming (2 Peter 3:13). You are instead looking for the earth wherein dwelleth both wickedness and righteousness in accordance with His second coming.

I didn’t say that, Straw man

I didn’t say that either, Straw man

I didn’t say that either, Straw man

Your Straw man arguments are a sad thing.
You know a lot about straw man arguments. You are an expert on making them against Amil. You do it repeatedly and THAT is a sad thing.

Do you not believe that the earth will eventually be burned up and renewed (2 Peter 3:10-12)? You've said that before. How is that a straw man argument?

I know, you should change your handle to “Straw man”, it would be a lot more accurate than the one you have now.sml
Says the guy who makes straw man arguments incessantly. No, I'll let you have that handle since it fits you so well. Or maybe you can change it to "Amil Misrepresenter" or "Scripture Misinterpreter".

This is the words of God….

For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.

Psalm 37:11
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Psalm 37:22
For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.

Matthew 5:5
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

9 Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;

Your placement of Revelation 20 in these new heaven and new earth passages doesn't add up. Revelation 21 and 22 correlate with Psalm 10:30, 25:12-13, 37:9-11, 22, 28-36 and Matthew 5:5. Your future millennium is saturated in mortal evil people that rise up against God's people. It is overrun by the wicked as the sound of the sea. It is only the new heaven and new earth that forbid mortal evildoers, thus corresponding with these other inspired passages. This reinforces the Amillennial argument. The passages you quote expressly forbid evildoers entry.

Psalm 10:30 says, The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth."

What earth is the Psalmist talking about? An impending earth that only the righteous can inherit. The wicked are not qualified to inherit the new glorified earth and the perfect age to come. That is because one needs to be glorified to inherit a glorified environment.

Psalm 25:12-13 says: What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose. His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.”

The glorified saints are said to inherit the earth. This is assuredly talking about a new glorified earth, not this current corrupt arrangement that they have just departed. Their inheritance is not another period of corruption, rebellion and despair. They have just escaped that. The promised earth in view is actually depicted as a reward for the faithful. It cannot therefore be shared with the wicked.

Psalm 37:9-11 says, “For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.”

This is a truth that is repeated clearly and unambiguously throughout both Testaments.

Psalm 37:22 says, For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.”

Psalm 37:28-36 continues, “For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever ... Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.”

Here, “evildoers” and “the wicked” are synonymous titles that refer to the unrighteous whereas the designations “those that wait upon the LORD,” “the meek” and “His saints” refer to the righteous.

Christ confirmed this in Matthew 5:5 saying, Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.”

The meek alone possess the new earth – those that have been redeemed by His precious blood. The meek are the glorified believers. They are the antithesis of the wicked. There are only ever 2 peoples. The meek alone possess the new earth - those that have been redeemed by His precious blood.
