According to Scripture that old dragon called the Devil and Satan was cast out of heaven by Michael and his angels when Christ was born.
The whole world is currently under his deception…
Revelation 12:9
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
You have been deceived by thinking Satan was not bound when Christ went to the cross and rose from the dead. It's foolishness to think the world must be in complete peace and harmony and that is how we shall know when Satan is bound. There lacks faith in those who do not believe things that come through Christ's Spirit in us.
He was cast down to the earth….

The apostles did not consider Satan as already being bound for a thousand years, only those who are deceived by Satan believe he is currently bound.
The apostles did NOT believe Satan was already bound for a thousand years right after Christ was crucified.

Yes, at the birth of Christ Michael and his angels fought against the dragon because he could not destroy the man child, Jesus. The old dragon being cast out of the spiritual realm of God (heaven) to the earth, signifying he would no longer be permitted access into the spiritual realm of God. Why? Because it is written "Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night." The spiritual Kingdom of God through the power of Christ who brings salvation unto man has been born and just as Satan could not destroy the Christ child at birth, neither will he be able to prevent the Kingdom of God from being built. That means the spiritual Kingdom of God in heaven would be built, and the accuser of the brethren being cast down could no longer bring any charge against God's elect, since through Christ His elect would now have access to the Kingdom of God in heaven.
Through His birth, Jesus ushered in the spiritual Kingdom of God, and when He became a man, He proved He is the One He proclaimed to be. That is the Son of God, the One sent to bring eternal life to whosoever believes on Him. With the birth of Christ the promises of God became 'yes' and 'amen', there is nothing written of Him that would not now be fulfilled, because Christ Jesus our Lord was born a man to be the Savior of His people.
As I've shown you, being cast DOWN from heaven and to the earth, and being cast OUT of demon/devil possessed men is not the same thing as you imagine. Satan was cast DOWN from heaven when Christ was born, and devils/demons were cast OUT through the power of Christ' coming to earth a man, proving through great signs, wonders, and miracles that the spiritual Kingdom of God came with Him.
No, but they are most certainly IN the world! Having no fear of bondage to death, or all manner of evil that might suffer for Christ's name sake.
14:27 (KJV) Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. have the peace of Christ reigning in their hearts.
You're looking for an imaginary world you think this earth shall be during this imaginary period of One thousand years. Believers need have no fear of the tribulation that shall always be in this world. Rather we cling to His peace which surpasses all understanding.
John 16:33 (KJV) These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Philippians 4:7 (KJV) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
In spite of great affliction and tribulation that shall come to the saints of Christ always in this world, in Christ we are at peace. We aren't waiting for some imaginary period of one thousand years to bring peace to us. We have peace through Him NOW, to the end of the ages.
Do you think the apostles of Christ were stupid? Do you think they had no understanding of the spiritual powers of evil in this world. Evil under the power and influence of the king of the bottomless pit? Do you think they didn't know about false prophets, liars, deceivers, false doctrines, hypocrites, wolves in sheep's clothing, etc. etc. etc. all who are against Christ and His Church? The spirit of evil can work just as well in them from the bottomless pit as the Spirit of Christ can work in us. Stop being deceived!

Which contradicts what you said earlier: John 12:31 "Now is the prince of this world cast out"

That’s not what I said. I was confirming the timing of events that happened prior to Satan being cast out of heaven down to the earth.

Lucifer was the most anointed cherub, powerful and beautiful; but his pride caused him to rebel against God. 1/3 of the angels went along with him. This happenned likely before creation. Lucifer became Satan and he was in the Garden. That is when he lost his place in heaven. Satan and his demons corrupted mankind for the first 1656 years, then many of the demons were cast down to Tartarus (2 Peter 2:4), the Abyss. It is located in the lower parts of the earth - a part of Hades. But some demons remained. Jesus cast demons out of several victims. Satan was there in the beginning of Jesus mission also, tempting him in the wilderness.
Evil has been around before Adam and Eve sinned. The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil was planted in the Garden before they sinned.
Revelation speaks of things that were in the past, in John's present ( 95 AD) and in the future. Rev. 12 is an historical account, a parenthetical rerun of the past for perspective. The Serpent/ Dragon has been around for 6000 years.
The Beast has possessed empires from the beginning: Babylonian, Egyptian, Persian, Assyria, Greek, Roman and Ottoman. Tje Ottoman Empire existed for almost 500 years and died around 1921, but thwor religion did not. It has grown has been terrorizing half of of the world.
IMHO, The Beast with seven heads and ten horns is now Islam. Iran is gathering ten nations (already has most of them) to attack Israel. Satan will possess one final leader, the Antichrist and give him supernatural powers. His reign will be short ( 3 1/2 years), Then Christ will return.
Since Christ appeared, there have been many antichrists. Millions of people are antichrists. A reference of the prince to come was Nero..Titus was also an antichrist who came with the Roman army and destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD.
There will be one final Antichrist who will rule the world.
