Baby woke me up but now my mind is awake for awhile.

Was feeling discouraged by a feeling like Ive been waiting on things to improve for too long.

But I trust God. My prayers have gotten more honest. And my time with Him helps me stay the course.

Hi everyone.

Still been hot here but it's cool at night. Finally got my living room window fixed. It wouldn't open. The maintenance guy said the plastic lock slid down! But he also oiled the track.

Stay cool, it has been pretty good weather up here. Been enjoying the weather which is pleasant. :)

Odd how things feel the worse before they get better. We got some good news about a trucking job my husband interviewed for. God willing, this means a lot of things can move forward. God deserves the glory. He got us through some really hard financial times.

Big surprise....they predicted 102 but we got to 111 in our area!!!! That's unheard of for us.

When I first moved to Los Angeles in 1967, I could always see a haze over the hills. But then they worked on cleaning the air up a lot.

So for a really long time, it's clear looking...at least from ground level.

All we have had is rain, rain and more rain ( wouldn’t be the U.K. with umbrellas !! lol )
Sept is such a varied month now, you can get hot weather one day and autumn weather the next.
The children have all gone back to school this week, my grandaughter starts college on Monday ( compulsory now, they raised the school leaving age up from 16 to 18 a few years back, it was 14 back in the late 60’s. )
Been looking at the rhythms and themes that run through the OT, and perhaps through the NT , it’s fascinating once you know they are there ………
