I am familiar with the Quran and the Surahs and the diverse interpretations and the big push for Shaira laws.I agree, and there would be no need to pay any attention to it or be concerned with it but we should be at least basically aware of what the Koran has to say because many Muslims use what some of the Koran says about non-Muslims and how they should react to non-Muslims against everyone else, and some even murder their own if they do not follow it all literally - like Isis did.
Sharia (also spelled Shari'ah) is an Arabic term meaning "path" or "way." In Islamic context, it refers to the comprehensive legal and moral system derived from the Qur'an, Hadith (sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad), and other sources. It encompasses a wide range of laws and ethical guidelines governing both personal and communal aspects of life for Muslims.
And I concur--people should be aware of this.
