Martyrdom is far from the hearts of most Christians today. It wasn’t far from hearts of the earliest Christians. You who would kill your enemies aren’t like them.

I invite readers to spend a few minutes reading about Christians who lived the life Messiah taught.

Weep especially when you read the stories of Christians who were tormented, tortured and killed by their fellow Christians.

What would it take for Christians today to disobey Jesus? Not much.

All the devil has to do is threaten you and / or your family.

You will not use a knife or a gun to protect your wife and/or children?

God says that if we dont provide for our family, we are worse then an "infidel"...

"Provide for", also means to keep them safe, .. to protect them from Harm.

And the reality is... throwing a KJV Bible at armed gunmen who are not invited into your home at 3am, because your wife is pretty and your daughters are also, is not going to keep them from Harm.
And asking them to "kneel and Pray" is not going to have the desired effect.

But there is a way, and its Legal if you do it right, to put a stop to their EVIL... and you must do it.
You must stop them.... Reader.

Good book, you posted.
Tho.....
Would you be able to agree that not every Christian is called to be eaten by Lions, or sawed in half, or boiled in oil, or burned like a street light, or crucified upside down"?
Not every Believer is called to die as a Martyr.. some for example are called to be Doctors, and School Teachers, and Artists.

Here is another good "Martyrs" book, that is worth a look.

Good book, you posted.

Few Christians even know it exists. It can be read at no cost online. (Link provided.)

Yes.

Every Christian should be prepared and willing to be.

Yes. Widely known among Protestants.

“Can you imagine his thoughts? Turning to save the man that would imprison him, knowing that it meant confronting prison and the death penalty?

It seems difficult to imagine, but that is what Jesus did for us. …”

I’ve read it and recommend it.

The Marty'r books should be required "Christian" reading, and in some seminaries, they are a part of the curriculum .

Paul told us to "fight the good fight of faith", and to "put on the Armor of God".

I also like the Story of "The Spartans", as i always appreciate when the good guys are taking a stand against the bad guys.

Have you read Mark Twain's "Joan of Arc"?

2 Corinthians 10:4. Not using the weapons of the world.

I haven’t read Twain’s book.

Yes.

I also think about Jesus choosing Judas, and knowing what that would lead to., in the end.

Another interesting thought is ...... When Did Jesus, KNOW he was JESUS.. the Son of God.. ??
Obviously not in the Crib., however it came to be his revelation before he was 12, as at 12, He said.. "I must be about my Father's business".

And that business, was to be tortured before The Cross, and then die On The Cross.
So, Jesus KNEW this was coming to Him...He could SEE IT...up AHEAD......and if He knew it at 8, or 10, or 11 or 12, yrs old then He had about 20 yrs to think about being nailed to The Cross.
That would tend to be a "HEAVY Burden to Carry"....for 20 yrs.

2 Corinthians 10:4. Not using the weapons of the world.

yes, "the believers weapons are not carnal"

And many pulpits say.....>>"put on the armor"... as if its your armor, as if it your willpower.

Whereas, its "God's Armor".

I haven’t read Twain’s book.

Lots of research went into the Book.
He seemed to have been quite obsessed with Her and wanted to really nail down the truth.

Just a note: I have read many books in my self-education. It is, however, important to note and remember that there are translations into most languages and dialects. Still, it remains true that there is only one book of Holy Scripture, The Bible! The best and the worst things mankind has done to the Scriptures is the division into chapters and verses.

The letters from Yahovah are this way found to contain life instruction that we might not go astray and build anti-Christian/anti-Yehovah Theologies and be led off into the |Eternal Lake of Fire, eternally separated from Father God. I read The Book of Martyrs when I finished my first journey through the Scriptures and though it is important reading it is not The Word of God and any theology built on it is a slap in the face of Yehova and is heretical except all points of said instruction are based in Scripture.

Do not allow Satan that foothold. Amen!

You’ve made an assumption and jumped to a conclusion. There is no guarantee that anyone can stop the murder of someone else.

You said that you were looking for a fruitful conversation with a conscientious objector. What do you consider fruitful?
One 38 caliber wad cutter from my .357 will stop the murder of yours if it happens in my presence.
