I find your promotion of textual criticism, where all Bibles are erroneous, highly offensive.

So I followed the guidance of this scripture:

“Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.” (1 Timothy 5:20, KJV)

But seeing that the holy scriptures contained in translations is just a specimen of man made writings outside the control of God’s providence in your view I expect your mocking condescending attitude to continue…

People weren't all that different back then. A lot is lost in translation. Then we come along after the fact, many centuries removed from the context, and kind of guess what they were talking about. We kind of get the idea, but generally speaking opinion and interpretation of what the Bible says varies greatly.

Quick observations: There are those who believe that they already know the truth, and it is contained in their favorite translation. As to whether they have actually studied their favorite translation and compared passage that both prove and disprove their interpretations; who knows?

When in doubt, just repeat what you have been told by your favorite pastor or teacher.

If a topic frustrates you, just have that topic banned from discussion.

By all means, never clear your mind and open the door to any change in your understanding. After all, it was good enough for grandpa.

A post can be reported. But Mods will only take action if a specific forum rules is broken. Find the broken rule and report the charge.
A charge of flaming could be made for a slanderous attack. Keep the report brief. They will read the post(s).

I can’t control the feelings of folks like yourself who attack the perfection of God’s word and then can’t take a rebuke in defense without whining about it.

I would continually argue my case Brother on a personal level...not worth it my friend.
