I stand by my post.

I’m yet to hear you explain being Born Again of imperishable seed?

So now the topic is seeds.....
for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable, but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God. 1st Peter 1:23
Its meaning is clear but I am not sure if you know.

Complicated?

Its easy,, But far to many people have no idea what it means

It means that a person who is born physically. Must be born again (literally a second time)

Its not rocket science.
Born Again a second time, indeed.but, what in us is Born Again a second time, surely we don’t go back into our mothers womb again?

Tell me what it is then?

Then we may agree.

What in you has been Born Again for the 3rd time?

Is the seed alive or dead?

Where was the seed planted in us? @Grailhunter ?

Whose seed is it?

Why you make being Born Of water and The Spirit so complicated is beyond me.

Leading your own way through scripture, imo...no spiritual understanding whatsoever..imo.

The scripture is clear until people try to twist it and be defiant to the Word of God.

Well, we’re just voicing opinions here, no more valid than the others who voice theirs.

You just accuse each other of false doctrine...it’s bat and ball time again...anyone for tennis, hehehe.

It NEVER changes, same old, same old...

I explained this in detail in post 636

For you have been born again not of seed which is perishable, but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God. 1st Peter 1:23

The term born again alludes to the concept that a new Christians starts out with a clean slate and new life with God. Which was a big deal back then because no such thing could occur in the Old Covenant. Born again not from human seed but through a spiritual seed. It is continuance of the concept of born.

If that is what Christianity is to you….you are in trouble.

We are Born Again exactly how God says we are.

Our spirit is Born Again that’s what is Born Again in us...you have added your own understanding to Gods word, don’t do it, it’s full of confusion.

The imperishable seed that we are Born Again of, is The Living Holy Spirit...he is the Living seed. He is the Living seed that we are Born Again of.

He is Gods Living witness in our spirit.

That is exactly what I do not do but what you are doing.

The imperishable seed that we are Born Again of, is The Living Holy Spirit...he is the Living seed. He is the Living seed that we are Born Again of.

Correct But there is also the new beginning.... “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Ok, so how do you know that you are a new creation in Christ...just by reading the written word. @Grailhunter ?

This is your opinion, therefore adding to Gods word..please don’t do it.

That is the word of God.

We are Born Of The Spirit.

Or maybe you think we are Born Of The Intelect?

Spirit gives birth to spirit.....flesh gives birth to flesh

Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, `You must be born again. '

I WAS BORN OF THE SPIRIT

I WAS BORN AGAIN

I WAS REDEEMED BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB

I WAS JUSTIFIED FREELY

God saved me..
Best we don’t go down that road again as you say.

I was Born Again very differently to you.

My spirit was Born Again that’s the Living Spiritual birth..an act of God that man cannot choose for it to happen.

The Holy Spirit gives birth to our spirit......Spirit gives birth to spirit....flesh gives birth to flesh.

Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, `You must be born again. '

I am quoting scripture….what are you doing?

Christianity is best understood in the truth and fact columns, keep opinions out of it. Otherwise….Everything is an opinion, everything is a grey area….who can know what is right and wrong. This all comes from he who is confusion….Satan.

Quoting scripture doesn’t make your spirit Born Again.

What makes our spirit Born Again...or maybe that should read...who makes our spirit Born Again?

And where does Gods truth come from my dear friend?

Who delivers Gods truth?

Do you just go by only the written word of God?

Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, `You must be born again.

Is that a written birth or a Living spiritual birth?

Everything here is telling me you do not understand.
Just trying to explain confusion.
The scriptures are not that confusing.
God did not confuse you....so where did it come from?
