I already have, we are Born Again of imperishable seed that LIVETH and abideth forever.

Thank you.

In "1 Peter 1:22-25," pay careful attention to grammar and context.

Yes, I have always stated that the imperishable seed is the Holy Spirit, and that is why I also quoted for you "Ephesians 1:13" as follows:

Ephesians 1:13 (WEB) 13 In him you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation - in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit

Just as in "Ephesians 1:13," the Holy Spirit (incorruptible seed) is again said to be received through/by the Word of God in "1 Peter 1:23."

1 Peter 1:23 (WEB)
23 having been born again, not of/from [Greek: ek] corruptible seed, but of/from [Greek: ek] incorruptible,
through/by [Greek: dia] the word of God, which lives and remains forever

ek:
Definition
: from, from out of
Usage: from out, out from among, from, suggesting from the interior outwards.

dia:
Definition:
through, on account of, because of
Usage: (a) gen: through, throughout, by the instrumentality of, (b) acc: through, on account of, by reason of, for the sake of, because of.

Born again of/from incorruptible seed (Holy Spirit), through/by the Word of God. Notice that the "incorruptible seed" is not the word of God; rather, the "incorruptible seed" is through/by the word of God.

Now that we see the grammar, let us look at the context of "1 Peter 1:22-25."

----------

1 Peter 1:22-25 (WEB)
22 Seeing you have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth of/from [Greek: ek] the Spirit in sincere brotherly affection, love one another from the heart fervently,
23 having been born again, not of/from [Greek: ek] corruptible seed, but of/from [Greek: ek] incorruptible,
through/by [Greek: dia] the word of God, which lives and remains forever. 24 For,

All flesh is like grass, and all of man’s glory like the flower in the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls;
25 but the word of the Lord endures forever.
” [Isaiah 40:6-8]

{{{This is}}} the word of the Gospel which was preached to you.

----------

Notice that the "word of God" (verse 23) is plainly identified by Peter in "verse 25" as follows:

{{{This is}}} the word of the Gospel which was preached to you.

Since Peter identifies the "word of God" as the word of the gospel that was preached, then the "word of God" is not the Holy Spirit.

Look how Jesus told Nicodemus how we are Born Again, like the wind, you can’t see the Spirit , Brother, he is like the wind, his Spirit is everywhere...you must know his Spirit is Alive and indwells our spirit, the Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are Gods children...he speaks to our spirit as he’s indwelling us,Biblical.....what’s Alive in us what’s been Born Again....our spirit has been Born Again.xx

Your definition of the "Living Word of God" as the "Holy Spirit" is not found in the Scriptures.

The Spirit is received by faith after hearing the Word of God.

Ephesians 1:13 (WEB) 13 In him you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation - in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit

The "word of God" always means "The Scriptures" unless "Word of God" is specifically referring to Lord Jesus (John 1:1-3; Revelation 19:13).

John 1:1
(KJV) [referring to Lord Jesus] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Revelation 19:13 (KJV) [referring to Lord Jesus] 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

Lord Jesus is also called "The Word of Life."

1 John 1:1 (KJV) [referring to Lord Jesus] That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of The Word of Life

The word of God, the living word of God is referring to the Holy Scriptures.
Lord Jesus is the Word of God incarnate.
The Holy Spirit is never the Word of God.

My Dear Brother, so much of the “ written “ word.

Being Born Again = our spirit is Born Again = it comes Alive in the imperishable seed = the Living Holy Spirit.

Of imperishable seed= the Living Holy Spirit = that liveth and abideth forever = Liveth and abideth forever in our hearts..= He has taken up residence in our hearts/ spirit = His Living Spirit brings our spirit Alive

I am so sorry that you went to all that trouble, only understanding the written word = you need to understand the Living Holy Spirit = that is very much Alive and Active = he is like the wind Dear Brother, you can’t see him or know where he is going to next = when he does make us Born Again by His Living Spirit = it will blow ones socks off= the Living word of the Holy Spirit can NEVER leave his Born Again child’s heart.

May you know the Living Holy Spirit seed and the purest of Love abundantly in your spirit, in Jesus Name....Amen!!

That took me about 3 minutes to post, we can only know the Living Holy Spirit in our hearts Dear Brother, that is where he liveth and abideth forever, in Jesus Name...Amen!

The written word is backed up by Gods Living word.

Edit to add A Born Again doesn’t sin because God’s seed remains in them = remains in their heart/ spirit, = the seed that we are Born Again of = the wonderful/ beautiful/ perfect Living Holy Spirit = my lovely Brother in Christ.xx

That Living seed that was planted in our hearts/ spirit , by the Living Holy Spirit, will take root, grow, mature, and flourish, that Living seed possesses our spirit, we become more and more like Jesus, because we bear his fruit from within our spirit, that is where he starts working in us, the moment our spirit becomes Born Again of imperishable seed....xxx

Well done for your studies of the written word, we also need to know foremost and utmost, the Living seed of God= The Holy Spirit.xx

1 Peter 1

King James Version

1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.

Are you saying that the Holy Spirit isn’t Gods Living witness?....The Holy Spirit is Gods Living witness, is he not?

Are you witnessing that imperishable seed is the Gospel?

Who testifies Gods truth to our spirit?

Who is the Spirit?....that made us Born Again?

Please tell me what word of God is Alive and Active?

The word of God is Alive and Active....who is the word of God?

Who is this Spirit that testifies with our spirit?

Who testifies the truth of Gods word to our hearts/ spirit?

Romans 8:16

King James Version

16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

John 4:24

King James Version

24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

How can we worship Gods Spirit in spirit ( lower case) and truth?

Afraid it is my love.

The word of the Lord is Alive And Active.

Hebrews 4:12

New International Version

12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

If God came down from heaven as he is .....do you think we would still be alive, if we saw him in all His Glory and Splendour?

That is why it’s imperative that we need his Living witness, that witness is the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the witness who is on the earth today.

Glorify and Praise God all day every day, for without his Living witness, the Holy Spirit, we wouldn’t know God’s Spirit, we can look at creation and wonder, but, we must know God exists and that can only come by His Living witness, the Holy Spirit.
...we know God in our spirit....because of his Living witness the Holy Spirit.....there NO GREAT AN HONOUR .....Biggest Honour and Privilege one will EVER receive in their Life!! Is to know the Living Holy Spirit and to be led by the Spirit....
Testimony and belief.

The Holy Spirit is Alive...that is why you hear me talk a lot of the Spirit, the Holy Spirit as my testimony is a Living testimony.....my witness I could not live without....he is the Living witness of God and does the will of the Father.

Without the Living Holy Spirit....I am NOTHING....all Knowledge comes from him...

He uses me as His vessel to spread the word.....I Almighty God am Alive in Spirit....there is NONE like me, ( GOD) you worship me in spirit and truth....Amen....Father God.

I Praise your Holy Name, all day every day.. !!!

Just a short commentary...

Giving in to sin is no longer normal for the child of God, and the rest of 1 John 3:9 gives the reason: “No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.” A genuine Christian has God’s “seed” and will not “deliberately, knowingly, and habitually” sin. It’s just not in his “spiritual DNA.”

Believers have the power to overcome temptation because of the Holy Spirit living within them (1 Corinthians 10:13; 1 John 3:9). Children of God growing to maturity will increasingly reflect God and His character as He sanctifies them. If a person claims to be a Christian but lives in rebellion against God’s Word, pursuing a lifestyle of willful sin, that person shows that he or she is not saved.

Believers are born of God and have become new creations at salvation: “The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 3:17). No longer slaves to sin, believers are continually transformed into the image of Christ. , but whoever is born of God does not sin in that they do not knowingly, deliberately, or habitually sin. They live for the things of God, and by God’s grace, “his divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness” (2 Peter 1:3).

The Holy Spirit is the "incorruptible seed" but the Holy Spirit is not the Living Word of God. No such Scripture.

Peter identified "the word of God" in "1 Peter 1:23' as being that same "word" of the Gospel that was preached to them.

1 Peter 1:23-25 (WEB)

through/by [Greek: dia] the word of God, which lives and remains forever. 24 For,

We agree that no one who is born of God will continue living in sin; however, we are born of God of the Spirit by faith because of the Word that was preached to us.

Ephesians 1:13 (WEB) 13 In him you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation - in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit

Therefore,
since being born of God is through faith in the truth, the born again Christian must remain in the faith to continue to be born of God (Eternal Life), as Paul states:

Paul taught us that the indwelling Spirit will only give Eternal Life (rebirth of the Spirit) to the Christians who sow to the Spirit without giving up.

Galatians 6:7-9 (Writing to the Church in Galatia) 7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 Whoever sows [continuous sowing] to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows [continuous sowing] to please the Spirit, {{{from the Spirit}}} will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if WE (believers) do not give up.

The Spirit indwelt believers are admonished to live sanctified lives onto God, and that the Spirit indwelt believer who rejects this is rejecting God.

1 Thessalonians 4:7-8 (To the Christians in Thessalonica) 7 For God called us not for uncleanness, but in sanctification. 8 Therefore he who rejects this doesn’t reject man, but God, who has also given his Holy Spirit to you.

The witness of the Holy Spirit is the God-breathed Written Word of God that God commanded.

Romans 16:25-27 (NIV) 25 Now to him who is able to establish you in accordance with my gospel, the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, 26 but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from faith — 27 to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.

1 Corinthians 4:6 (NIV) 6 Now, brothers and sisters, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying, “Do not go beyond what is written.”

Is the Holy Spirit a Living seed?

The incorruptible seed is the living seed.

The living seed is not the living word of God, but rather, the living seed is the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit witnesses to our spirit who the Living God is?

The Spirit always works with the Word to give life, just as in Genesis. So the Spirit convicts the world as the Gospel is preached.

We agree that no one who is born of God will continue living in sin; however, we are born of God of the Spirit by faith because of the Word that was preached to us.
That is not how God says we are Born Again, that is your own belief system on what you believe Born Again means......preaching does not make you Born Again.....that is just sowing a seed..

The seed we receive is a Living seed, a gift that only God can give, via His Living Spirit.
Ephesians 1:13 (WEB) 13 In him you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation - in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit
That is not saying how one is Born Again...that’s your belief system, which is not backed up by the Living Holy Spirit.
Therefore, since being born of God is through faith in the truth, the born again Christian must remain in the faith to continue to be born of God (Eternal Life), as Paul states:

A Born Again is Born Of The Living Spirit.

Posting the understanding that you believe of scripture, doesn’t make us Born Again...none of what you post says we are Born Again....,

The witness , The Holy Spirit ,is a Living Spirit, are you denying this?

You are not Born Again by the written word....the written backs up God Living word.

Do not deny that the Holy Spirit isn’t Alive And is everywhere.

Plus Gods children are Born Of His Holy Spirit....He indwells our spirit.

You need to understand the Living Holy Spirit who gives birth to our spirit.

Your knowledge is limited to the written word...

That is not how God says we are Born Again, that is your own belief system on what you believe Born Again means......preaching does not make you Born Again.....that is just sowing a seed..

Didn't you notice that Ephesians 1:13 is about receiving the Holy Spirit, which is by believing in the Word of Truth - the Gospel?

Read it again, because Ephesians 1:13 is definitely not just sowing the seed.

We receive Spiritual Life by the Holy Spirit dwelling IN us, which is by faith.

John 7:37-39 (WEB) On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’” Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive

Acts 2:38
(WEB) And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

The seed we receive is a Living seed, a gift that only God can give, via His Living Spirit.

The living seed is the Holy Spirit that we receive via the Word of God - the Gospel

Ephesians 1:13 (WEB) 13 In him you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation - in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit

That is not saying one is Born Again.

A Born Again is Born Of The Living Spirit.

Exactly, being Born Again is Of The Living Spirit, and the Living Spirit is received by faith.

That is what the Scriptures are stating, read it for yourself.

I don’t need to read anything..the Living Holy Spirit seed, indwells my heart.

Reading scripture doesn’t make one Born Again.

You don’t need the written word, to know you are Born Again.
We receive Spiritual Life by the Holy Spirit dwelling IN us, which is by faith.
We receive Spiritual Life, exactly how God says we receive, by being Born Of The Spirit.
John 7:37-39 (WEB) On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. The Gospel doesn’t bring your spirit Alive, the Gospel is the good news, it’s because of the Gospel that we can be Born Of The Spirit.

Nothing to do with being Born Again of the Living Spirit.

Whoever believes, then they must be Born Again, you can’t believe without God’s Living witness..the Holy Spirit, he testifies with our spirit that we are Gods children.

I don’t need to read any scripture to know that I am Born Again of imperishable seed.

Scripture knowledge doesn’t make one Born Again, only the Living Spirit can do that.

Which is Backed up by the written word.

The witness , The Holy Spirit ,is a Living Spirit, are you denying this?

Not quite. I don't see any Scriptures that call the Holy Spirit "a Living Spirit."

Can you show me the Scriptures that state that the Holy Spirit "a Living Spirit?"

You are not Born Again by the written word....the written backs up God Living word.

Can you quote me the Scriptures that state that there is a difference between the Inspired Word of God and God's living word?

Do not deny that the Holy Spirit isn’t Alive And is everywhere.

The Spirit of God fills the universe but will only indwell those who believe.

The Spirit will only indwell those who first believe to give them life.

John 7:38 (WEB) 38 He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water.” 39 But he said this about the Spirit, which those believing in him were to receive.

Ephesians 1:13 In him you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation - in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit

Galatians 3:2
I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by believing what you heard?

The Spirit will not indwell anyone with just any kind of faith; rather, such faith must manifest in a commitment to obey Lord Jesus.

Acts 5:32 (WEB) 32 We are his witnesses of these things; and so also is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.

John 14:15-16 (WEB) 15 If you love me, keep my commandments. 16 I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever: 17 the Spirit of truth

John 14:23
(WEB) 23 Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him.

Plus Gods children are Born Of His Holy Spirit....He indwells our spirit.

Galatians 3:26 (WEB) For you are all children of God, {{through faith}} in Christ Jesus.

Regeneration is to receive God’s Spirit after a person believes and becomes a child of God:

Galatians 4:6 (WEB) And because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!”

You need to understand the Living Holy Spirit who gives birth to our spirit.

The Living Holy Spirit is not the Living Word of God.

The Holy Spirit gives birth to the spirit of the one who believes.

John 7:38 (WEB) 38 He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water.” 39 But he said this about the Spirit, which those believing in him were to receive.

Your knowledge is limited to the written word...

Not only to the written Word, but also to Lord Jesus who is the living Word of God.

1 Corinthians 4:6 (NIV) 6 Now, brothers and sisters, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying, “Do not go beyond what is written.”
